At only age of two, she was taught taekwondo by her father before he left. Her father left when Li Hua turned four, and her and her mother moved to South Korea, Seoul to be exact. Li Hua was given a homeschool teacher for grade school so she could learn Korean. It was when she went into middle school when she really became into dancing. Her mother then started teaching her and taking her to competitions with her to help. Li Hua has been dancing for over ten years now.
