Hey there.

I'm a 16 year old gamer from Sweden (GMT +1), and when I saw your videos on YouTube posted by CHKilroy from ArmA 2, I fell in love... See, I didn't believe these kind of communities existed where players took their game to the next level. So you can imagine how strange it was for me to find you guys. I'm actually pretty bad at writing these kind of letters so let me just start answering questions and get over it. ^^

I already told you who I am, but I actually think you would be more interested in who I am as a player. I've been playing all sort of games, as most gamers. But the one I spent most time in and really loved has been the First Person Shooter ones. But I've always missed something in them, the feeling of realism. See, I grew up with Counter-Strike and I liked it to a certain degree. But you know as good as me that CS isn't that realistic. After Counter-Strike I switched around between a lot of games.

I found Battlefield 1994 & 2 and Quake Wars: Behind Enemy Territory (thanks to a friend), and I really liked them. What I missed were the sort of community that ShackTac is. I missed games were everyone used microphones and acted seriously. And because I didn't believe these kind of communitiess existed I let the feeling go and started to just roam along the long road of games, until yesterday. When I found those videos. It might be hard to grasp but this kind of gaming has just slipped past me. Maybe I just weren't looking, but as I wrote above. When I saw your videos I recognized what I've been wanted to try for so long. And that's why I would like to join.

My personality? I'm not sure, I don't see myself as a douche though... :)
