Warlock Application

Hello Echoes,
My name is Nils, I am a 23 year old german/french (yikes) student in Industrial Engineering. I recently finished my Internship and Bachelors Degree so spare time is nothing to worry about. Besides WoW, Music, Cars, Series and BBQs with friends are my addiction.

My WoW Career start in the early stages of Legion. From trying to click on passive Spells in the first Weeks I then joined a Heroic raiding Guild for EN. Hunter , both MM and BM, was my first main. After that guild disbanded at the beginning of Nighthold, a friend vouched for me in a Mythic raiding guild, that we then joined. After four (4!) months of Botanist Progress just after Trilliax the guild was in a pretty bad shape, so more than half of the Guild left and fomed a new one with a few other Players. In the last 3 or 4 Weels of NH , we managed to clear 9/10 M with a bit of progress on Guldan. Fast forwarding to TOS, I was now Raid Lead by accident and the start of the Tier was pretty rough mostly due to the lack of stable roster. After merging with another Guild in the same position (Feengs old guild) we managed to get to 8/9 M with a 1% Wipe on KJ the Day before Antorus opening. I stepped down as RL and Officer because i wanted to focus myself more on my own gameplay. With the GM and our best Healer quitting the game, the guild felt apart. I was looking for new opportunities, and got approached by Memoria, my old guild on Twisting Nether. Raiding in English was a new and very welcome change for me, but after killing Argus, the guild alrdy fell apart because of a lackluster Officer group and core people quitting. I decided to look out for a new guild, and found the guild where I'm currently in, Revivals on KhazModan. I quickly noticed that raiding in French while also playing M+ with a French group is just too much of it. Besides that, I think that my current guild just raids way more to compensate for the lack of Skill by the majority of the Guild. These are the main points why I am applying to Echoes now :
- Raiding more Time efficient
- Raiding in English again
- Raiding in a stable environment
-Becoming a better player and not stop improving
And just going a bit more hardcore overall.

Besides WoW im also playing League of Legends, where I peaked in Challenger. Every game that I play, I just try to improve as much as I can. Thats why I also play quite a lot of M+, mostly to just become a better Player overall.

  I have most of the classes at 110 but I mainly play my WL , Hunter, DH and recently Boomkin. But as I mentioned in DMs already, I am open to play most of the classes / speccs (prefer to stay RDPS tho ). As long as it helps the guild :)

Now we come to the part about showing off my class knowledge, and to be honest I dont really know what to say. Not because of the lack of knowledge, but because WL and especially Affliction is a pretty deep class ( sounds funny ik).
The Talent combinations vary from Boss to Boss, and the Legendaries even from Player to Player. I dont wanna give you the impression that I am not putting effort in this or that Im just lazy, so here is a more or less quick overview over Talents / Legendaries / Stats.

Talents
WiA - Good for multidotting or Drain sniping
MG - Good Prio / ST Damage

Contagion- Good Prio and Light Cleave Damage
AC - Multidotting and Big Kiting Pulls
ELT- M+ Seedspam

Circle , Mortal Coil and Howl of Terror- useful Mobility / CC. Personal pref.

PS-Situation for Light cleave while ennemies are stacked
StS- AoE Damage
SH- Standart raiding Talent, overall Damage increase

DS, Burning Rush, DP- Survivability through movement speed or Absorbs / Heals, Personal pref

Grimoires- Supremacy is the only viable choice in PVE at the moment.

DE, SL, SC 3 pretty good Talents, with SL being standart for ST and 2 Target, and DE for more than 2 Targets or with the Classring in Progress when you need a strong execute Phase.


Legendaries
I think that Affliction Warlock is the Class that uses the most Legendaries, at least if you wanna min-max every scenario. Here a quick Overview of all the Legendaries that i use in raid or M+

Hood of Eternal Disdain - More Agony Ticks -> More DMG / Shards

Sephuz's Secret - Great Stats, Even better effect

Power Cord of Lethtendris - RNG but good when lacking Shards

Prydaz - Good Stats, extra survivability

Sacrolash's Dark Strike - Multidotting / Slowing

Reap and Sow - Extra Reap Duration before pulling a Boss ( M+ )

The Master Harvester - RNG , good for AoE , could be decent for ST

Soul of the Netherlod - Mediocre Stats but great effect, good for pushing the Execute

Sindoreis Spite - Burst when lacking Ressources

Pillars of the Dark Portal - Mobility


I noticed this post is pretty long now so this is coming to an end. I hope you consider my application, even if it was the first time I had to write one down for a Guild. I gave my best like I try to do in Raid aswell and I am looking forward to an answer. My written english is a bit rusty, I want to apologize for it. Looking forward to a Guild where I can Progress hard and banter during farm =).
