- Hey man,
- Twitter's pesky character limit really doesn't allow me to express everything I have to say, so hopefully this pastebin response will do.
- One video I took issue with is titled "GTA 5 - Jimmy Hopkins From Bully Possible Reference/Easter Egg! (GTA V)". It was the first video of yours I saw, and it didn't give me a very good first impression.
- Like I said in my stream, I did make a video response to that video, but I never published it because I felt like my commentary was pretty subpar. I'm doubtful that video will ever surface.
- The few videos you made that I didn't like were made circa 4 years ago, so it's really whatever for me at this point.
- Hell, if you look back at my channel 4 years ago then I'm sure you could find videos wherein I used similar thumbnail/title tactics.
- I was basing my judgement on videos I saw years ago. Which I'll admit is pretty silly. YouTube evolves pretty quickly and so do the people on the website. Maybe your content has changed, maybe it hasn't. I don't know.
- At the end of the day it really does come down to how you as a YouTuber choose to conduct the editorial process on your channel. Some won't mind it, but some will.
- I'm very blunt and honest when people ask me how about I feel about certain channels, so I don't really hold back when someone asks me what I think of a person or their video content. In your case I just expressed what I felt from watching the aforementioned video.
- If I click on a video and expect something that is strongly suggested by both the title and thumbnail, and I end up get something vaguely connected to that then I almost feel like I've been duped.
- I had a similar problem with LegacyKillaHD at one point. We talked it out and quickly came to a mutual understanding. Clickbait is something that is heavily frowned upon by a lot of people, so I have gotten some heat from other Bully YouTubers for simply being on good terms with the guy.
- It's pretty absurd when you think about it.
- I've had several experiences in the past where I found out that some of the people I follow really don't care for me for whatever reasons. I know that it doesn't feel too good when that happens. Still, it shouldn't be about me. It's your channel. You can conduct it in whatever way you want.
- HeavyWeaponsBellic (the guy who said that you stole his video) is a good friend of mine. Like I said in the stream, I wasn't aware of the situation between you and him, so I was surprised to hear about the supposed video theft. I still don't really understand what's going on there, but I'm leaning more towards the possibility that it was a simple misunderstanding/coincidence.
- Every now and then you will unknowingly make a video very similar to someone else's video, so I've had similar accusations thrown my way. I don't really care about these sort of things to begin with, but I could see how a small channel like HeavyWeaponsBellic would have a more emotional response.
- Anyway, thank you for the kind words. I do appreciate it.
- And for the record, I don't dislike you as a person. I don't really know much about you to begin with, but you seem like an alright dude. I just didn't care for the video I mentioned. The video wasn't badly made, it was just published in a way that I found to be misleading. If you disagree with me on that point then let me know why.
- As for using information from my content and crediting me, go ahead. I appreciate the credit and I encourage people to give this great Rockstar Game more attention. The developers, actors, and musicians involved all put a lot of creativity, talent, and hard work into it. The end result is something very unique and fun that deserves way more attention.
- I'll be sure to stay tuned for your upcoming Bully video. Good luck!
- - SWEGTA
