- Meat of your choice (in your case will probably be chicken) into bite-sized pieces.
- Vegetables / fruits of your choice (banana, pumpkin, squash, apple, etc) In bite-sized pieces.
- 3 tsp. Curry Powder
- 1 ½ tsp. Garam masala
- 1 / 3 tsp. Tamarind
- Salt
- Vegetable oil
- Fresh garlic and ginger, finely chopped / minced
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- Tomatoes, chopped or peeled. (You can also use tomatopuree, it gives a second texture)
- Mustard
- Cardamom seeds
- Fenugreek
- Caraway seeds
- Bay Leaf
- 1. Heat oil in a saucepan (medium heat)
- 2. When the oil is hot, add garlic, ginger, caraway seeds, Fenugreek, mustard seeds, cardamom seeds, bay leaf
- 3. When the garlic and ginger start to get golden, add the onions and tomatoes
- 4. Wait 5 minutes and add meat / vegetables / fruit
- 5. Stir like you mean it.
- 6. Simmer for 40 minutes and then add spices, stir and let stand for a few minutes
- 7. Congratulations you've made curry.
- Here is a list of things you can also use.
- Yogurt, cheese, butter, milk, cream, sugar, Tabasco, soy sauce, ketchup, cashews or other nuts, mango, coconut, chocolate, red wine, coffee (not powder, brewed coffee)
- PROTIP: above ingredients do not work if you use them all in the same court.
