- Hilbert assumed his usual pose. Belly sticking out, pants unbuttoned, belt off, and hands rubbing his stomach. He wasn’t hurting as bad as Munchlax, but he really wished Bianca were here right about now. In fact, should he call her now? She did say call her for anything. And there’s no way Munchlax would appreciate the return trip. Figuring he didn’t really have much to lose and not really wanting to walk all the way back to the Pokemon Center with this anchor on his gut, Hilbert phoned his partner in this endeavor.
- The first thing Bianca heard upon picking up the phone was a loud burp. Seeing Hilbert lounging back with his hand tracing circles around his stomach was almost enough for her to drop the phone in her flustered state. “Hey Bianc-urp-, could you take us back to our PokeCenter rooms? Me and the little guy are pretty full here heh.” Bianca had been making steady progress into Route 7 and had written down several spots and battling partners of interest for Hilbert, but that could wait. Right now, she had something more important to do. Quickly teleporting into the restaurant and taking them back to their room, she contrasted Hilbert’s confident grimace with Munchlax’s dejected pout and grinned. “I just knew you could do it!” She said as she hugged Hilbert tightly.
- This coaxed out another belch that they probably heard in the next room. Sheepishly removing her hands, she apologized. Hilbert let out a small chuckle. “It’s fine. But you know what would make it up to me? One of your stomach rubs.” Hilbert was mostly joking but Bianca placed her hands right on his swollen middle. Gently rubbing without a hint of rushing in her movements, Hilbert was in heaven. “Could you give one to Munchlax? He fought hard too after all.” Bianca laughed softly and, albeit reluctantly, took her hands away and started on Munchlax. Although she couldn’t be too disappointed, he was nice and fluffy too after all. As for Munchlax, he considered his trainer’s eyes with something that resembled gratitude for the first time. Hilbert just grinned right back as he dozed off. The two slept side by side until Bianca brought in some take out later that day.
- “A Munchlax huh? An odd choice but nothing I can’t handle! Swanna, use Aerial Ace!” Hilbert held his finger on the rim of his cap and smirked. “Thunderbolt.” Munchlax easily tanked his opponent’s attack but the same could not be said of poor Swanna as it fainted from the super effective hit. After receiving his badge, Hilbert ran over to twirl his Munchlax in the air but quickly decided against it. Ruffling the top of its head was much safer on the back. The critter was finally listening to him! It didn’t like him quite enough to evolve just yet. They were more like coworkers who talked over lunch than true friends, but at least it wasn’t ignoring him. In the stands, Bianca clapped furiously as she walked over and pulled out a box of donuts each for the two champions.
- Skyla was impressed. It had been a while since someone had beaten her 3-0. Honestly, she expected the peppy blonde girl who rung the bell on the tower to be the one to do it but her capped friend had outperformed her. Not that she had thought he would be a bad trainer, he just didn’t seem as motivated as his pal. Watching the way he scarfed down those donuts, it was easy to excuse Skyla for thinking his mind was elsewhere. His appetite wasn’t the only thing making her think he was a bit lax on the motivation front.
- Out of the gap at the bottom of his jacket, a little pot belly was visible. Wobbling around a little every time he adjusted his standing position, it had started to hang over the waistband of his pants. Not enough to even cover the button yet, but still enough so that Hilbert had to fasten them under his new protuberance rather than around it to be comfortable. Speaking of comfort, Hilbert now no longer wore the belt as his new hip fat held up his pants on its own. He had the beginnings of love handles from the way his bottoms clung to his new softened form. It had been two weeks since he had last seen Skyla, and he had put on an additional 10 pounds to the 5 he had already put on at Bianca’s bringing him up from a lithe 125 to a flabbier 140. Skyla hoped that Munchlax of his hadn’t rubbed off on him too badly. It’s a shame, he had a pretty face too.
- It wasn’t entirely his fault though. Kept well nourished at all times, he didn’t really have the energy for exercise most of the time. Bianca would set up matches, collect items, and buy food all the while using her Musharna to teleport Hilbert wherever he needed to be. It was almost like she was his secretary. She certainly had the hips for it. Bianca made sure Hilbert didn’t have to move more than was absolutely necessary and kept him full of delicious high-calorie meals. Spending most of his days seated on the couch with a full belly, he was finally starting to see the reasoning for Munchlax’s worldview.
- He sat down on a bench at the entrance. His belly had now started to rest in his lap when he sat. Bianca’s reaction to his new potbelly was noticeably different from Skyla’s. She watched him shove donut after donut into his face imagining every single calorie of dough and sugar pumping that little pooch of fat bigger and bigger. She watched his cheeks puff up. He’d look so cute with a double chin. She’d never felt this way about someone before. Ever since that first stuffing session and seeing his stomach pop out, Bianca couldn’t stop imagining how wonderful it would be if Hilbert put on just a little more weight. She’d always admired him and maybe even had a bit of a crush, but the feelings of pure attraction of a more carnal variety were a new sensation. These thoughts were making her start to rub her own meaty thighs together, but she turned white as a sheet when she noticed Hilbert and his Munchlax staring at her.
- “Bianca are you okay?” Luckily, her crush was pretty clueless when it came to human breeding thinking maybe she wanted to sit down or something. “I-I’m fine! Just excited! Yeah, that was an awesome battle!” She gave him the biggest grin she could muster and a big thumbs up. Once again luck was on her side as she remembered that Cheren wanted a rematch after he and Hilbert both earned their Jet Badges. Always eager to battle, Hilbert quickly forgot about the whole incident as Bianca teleported them to the entrance of Twist Mountain, which she had traveled to earlier so Hilbert and Munchlax wouldn’t have to walk there themselves. After a quick pit stop for Bouffalant Burgers of course!
- Frankly, Bianca was dreading this encounter as Cheren would surely notice Hilbert’s new paunch. He’d make a crack about it and then *poof* no more cute squishy Hilbert. She knew how much her friends loved battling and wouldn’t keep them from it even with such dire consequences. Strangely though, her fears never came to pass. Cheren certainly looked surprised, but he didn’t say anything eyeing the bag in Bianca’s hand suspiciously. As she handed Hilbert his prebattle burger Cheren even seemed to have a bit of smirk but quickly became serious as the battle began. He did much better than last time but alas victory was just not in the cards. The real surprise was when the League Champion himself showed up and gave Cheren a lecture. As Alder talked to Hilbert about his role in defeating Team Plasma, Bianca walked up to a downcast looking Cheren, well more downcast than usual.
- “I know what it’s like to be uncertain about the path you’re walking and all I can say is, it gets better but only if you keep your mind open.” Cheren smiles a little and thanks her but says if it’s alright he’d like some time alone to seriously think about the true meaning of strength. “I know in my heart that both you and Hilbert are certainly part of the answer I’m looking for, so I’m sure we’ll cross paths again soon.” He turns to leave but before he does he smirks once more. “Speaking of you and Hilbert, don’t worry, your little secret is safe with me.” Bianca tilts her head in confusion but is quickly flustered once Cheren pantomimes a large belly over his own waist.
- Bianca is quick to stammer out an explanation, but her glasses-wearing friend holds up a hand. “Save it, I think it’s fine honestly. It’s not like he’s an unwilling participant. He could stop at any time he wants, but he won’t until that Munchlax is befriended. I know how stubborn he can be.” Bianca lets out a sigh of relief at this. Looks like her friend will be getting a little squishier after all! “Ah, I’m not done,” Cheren quickly clarifies. “Just be sure to tell him your feelings sometime this century, please. And I don’t know how big you want him to be, but I like my rival to be mobile.” With this, he walks away for some self-reflection as Bianca fumes. That Cheren! “He’s right but… but he doesn’t have to be so smug about it.” Hilbert had finished his conversation with Alder and was walking back towards her while rubbing his belly. One day she’d work up the courage to tell him how she felt. But that day isn’t today, she realizes. He deserves to relax and spend his gym winnings without some girl throwing herself at him.
- Twist Mountain was huge quite honestly. Maybe even too huge. Bianca had spent the better part of three weeks mapping it out, collecting lost items, making note of rare Pokemon in the area and of course, taking trainer’s phone numbers. She didn’t like to battle trainers herself when she could avoid it. The penalty for losing was paying up and she wanted every single cent of hers to go to a far worthier cause than lining some Ace Trainer’s pockets. Luckily the promise of a stronger trainer if they would just let her teleport real fast was enough to keep most of them off her tail. They’d gotten Hilbert a lounge chair, so he could lay back with a snack in hand by his Munchlax while giving orders to his other Pokemon. Munchlax really seemed to get a kick out of that for some reason. While her Pokemon skills had certainly made progress, she was no closer to confessing. She knew she would have to eventually, but she just couldn’t work up the nerve. She didn’t want to make things weird and was worried he’d be creeped out by how handsy she’d been lately.
- She just couldn’t help it! He’d been getting so big and round lately that keeping her hands to herself was getting to be impossible. She disguised it by hiding it under a veneer of teasing, but she wondered how long that cover would hold. He and Munchlax were getting more alike by the day. The first thing Hilbert would do after rolling out of bed was pop whatever breakfast goodies Bianca has prepared right in his mouth. Whereas before he had to remind himself to take things slow and easy, now it was becoming second nature. His butt had made a nice groove on the couch and his eyes began to take on a half-lidded look. Lounging on the couch in front of the TV was becoming preferable to biking or walking around town, especially when he had a nice full belly which was almost always. Every day he would get a little lazier and his belly would ooze on to his lap just a little bit more. Honestly, it was intoxicating watching this boy soften and swell. And with free access to rub it at almost any time, she didn’t want to stop this train just yet.
- Hilbert was aware he had put on weight. To him, it was just a little softness that could be burned off once this whole episode was past. Besides, he was enjoying the doting care of Bianca a little more than he thought he would. She’d give his growing paunch a pat and ask him if he still had room for another round. Before, he’d look at Munchlax to see if the Pokemon was hungry. Now however, the answer was an almost instantaneous yes. He’d become addicted to her praise. The nice warm feeling of his warm belly as she rubbed the aches out and told him what a good job he was doing. As he got bigger, the massages began to feel better as the soft fat made his skin more sensitive. No way he was getting off this ride just yet.
- Bianca had just finished her mountain excursion for the day. She makes her way to Hilbert’s room with a bag of muffins she picked up and knocked before entering. To tell the truth she was utterly spent, she just wanted to stuff Hilbert with these muffins and then go to bed. As she entered she was met with the sight of her crush tugging on the two ends of his jeans with his belly exposed. Muffins forgotten on the table, she proceeded to watch. He was grunting and even sweating a bit, his face was almost as red as Bianca’s was right now. Gorging on dense fatty foods and lounging around had made Hilbert put on weight at an astonishing rate of a pound a day. He was now officially overweight at 160 pounds. His belly obscured the waistband of his boxers from view as well as the button of the jeans whenever he tried to close the flaps. With the way his head was angled, a double chin was visible on his face too. A combination of lazing about and the rich foods Hilbert munched on caused the fat to take on a very dough like quality. Smooth and utterly devoid of any muscle tone, it expanded from his abdomen almost as if it was oozing out of it. His hands would squish easily into the front of his gut as he tried to fasten the jeans making it look even more malleable.
- His shirt had started to ride up on his gut, covering only up to the top half of his navel. This left the bottom part of his belly freedom to bounce and jiggle unimpeded. The reason for this was because his upper torso was starting to accumulate fat. He now had a proper curve of an abdomen as the area beneath his chest now had a grabbable wad of fat. His chest itself had softened too of course. Flabby and no longer firm, he now had a proper pair of boy breasts that were visible through his shirt. He didn’t wear the jacket inside the room on account of it being so warm, but when he did he raised the zipper to about rib level, so his gut could expand out nice and comfortable. Not that he had visible ribs of course. He hadn’t replaced his clothes since he figured he’d drop the weight relatively quickly once he choose to. Although he was starting to regret this decision.
- He looked up and saw Bianca. He was used to her seeing his exposed belly fat, so he reacted without embarrassment. “Hey, I didn’t hear you come in. I just woke up and was feeling a little puckish. Thought I’d get something from the vending machine and…yeah.” He gives his stomach a slap at this causing it to press inward and wobble for several seconds. Bianca watches mesmerized as she bites her lip. She gives his belly a little poke, “I think someone’s having a bit too much fun.” She has a jovial tint in her voice, but her heart is hammering with nerves. Unknown to her, her thin digit prodding his sensitive fat and the teasing yet doting tone in her voice gives Hilbert goose bumps. “Well I am known for going above and beyond.” Bianca was looking at the deep navel he was developing. “Y-yeah haha.” Hilbert noticed how haggard she looked just then. She had been looking increasingly downtrodden by the day. He walked forward and grabbed her by the shoulders, his belly pressing against her flatter midriff slightly. “You look tired. You aren’t overworking yourself, are you?” Bianca denied this of course, not wanting Hilbert to worry but the way she slumped over on the couch after he led her there told a different story.
- “Hey, this month has been all about Hilbert but let’s make the next three days Bianca days, okay? You deserve a break, and there’s no rush really.” Bianca tried to object. How was she supposed to tend to all of Hilbert’s needs if he was focusing on hers? She’d promised to help her friend for once and here he was taking care of her again. Hilbert plopped down on the couch next to her, belly bouncing a bit as he did so. “Is that what this is about? Bianca, knowing you’re in good condition would help me out far more than any gym badge ever could.” The frankness of this statement surprised them both. Bianca’s eyes watered a bit at this. For the first time, she felt truly valued. Hilbert was feeling the same, although he wished maybe he was valued a little less. They looked deeply at each other and began to lean in towards each other when suddenly, they heard a chomping noise.
- Munchlax had gotten into the forgotten muffin bag and was scarfing them down one by one. The two teens quickly broke apart, turning Cheri red as they did so. If Hilbert didn’t know any better, he’d say it was doing this on purpose. Bianca quickly replaced her embarrassed grimace with a smile. “Thanks Hilbert. And a break does sound nice, but I only need one day.” Seeing Hilbert’s skeptical glare, she quickly defends herself. “No really, you’ll see! I’ll be back to normal after that I promise!” Hilbert acquiesces at her impassioned pleas. She probably would bounce back after one day. She’d really gotten a lot stronger since they began all those months ago. The two friends sit and talk for a bit, but drowsiness quickly overtakes Bianca as she falls asleep. Eventually, she slumps over onto Hilbert’s squishy side.
- She tries so hard to make everyone else around her happy, that she forgets about herself sometimes. Watching her peaceful sleeping face, a single thought makes its way into Hilbert’s mind. “I’m in love with my best friend.” There’s no doubt within himself at this point. He was also pretty sure that the feeling was mutual. Hilbert has never been much of a romantic, but he knew he wanted this girl to feel special. There was only one way in his mind he felt he could do that. “I’ll become the Pokemon League Champion and then tell her!” She’d get to feel like the belle of the ball and he’d be able to stand by her with pride. Munchlax sat down next to him and offered him a muffin as if to apologize for earlier. Hilbert accepted eagerly and dug in. The two worked their way through the bag and eventually dozed off as well. The pants remaining unbuttoned.
- And so, she took her break, sleeping very late into the afternoon. She must have been exhausted. Hilbert felt a little bad, he could probably ask her to find the Musketeer trio for him and she’d still say yes. He used this opportunity to order some new pants and a shirt, online of course. Yesterday made him realize just how much of his dough was on display, blushing as he realized he’d been giving Bianca and eyeful of his fat gut for the past several days. She really was kind, keeping her disgust hidden and rubbing his belly anyway. He’d have to tone up for her after this was all over. The thought of exercise sent a subconscious wave of dread throughout his body as his stomach rumbled in response.
- He ordered some nice big pizzas to calm it down. “Well, no need to worry about that right now. I have a job to do.” He started rubbing his belly in a slow fluid motion. “Yeah Munchlax and I can share this pizza and then maybe we could order something later. I’d like a nice juicy burger right about now.” Hilbert started to fantasize about the big tub of cookie dough ice cream in the fridge as he imagined all that sugary goodness in his stomach and began to lick his lips. Suddenly the doorbell rang! Walking over in excitement, he frowns in disappointment as he realizes it’s just the clothes he ordered. Bianca was so much faster than these damn Slowpokes. The agonizing thirty-minute wait was enough time for Hilbert to give in and make his way through the ice cream tub after all. He had wanted to save it for later, but he could just order something sweet with the takeout later.
- The doorbell rang a second time making him decide to put on his new clothes. They were the same clothes just in a larger size. His larger shirt covered his paunch easily although its bulge was still visible. The new pants fit great although they slid down the curve of his stomach, resting naturally underneath the swell of his belly. They were kind of tight on his butt too, but the previous pair squeezed it like a vice so it wasn’t so bad. The new shirt had enough fabric that even his softer chest was hidden from view. He grabbed the three pizzas from the delivery man and plopped down at the kitchen table. He’d gotten used to sitting on the couch, but he didn’t want to wake Bianca up. The smell brought Munchlax scampering in as the two began to eat. Munchlax seemed to smile. Meat lovers with stuffed crust. Good, his trainer was learning. Maybe a little too well in fact, the Pokemon thought to himself watching his trainer wolf down slice after slice. Hilbert could easily out eat Munchlax now even without resorting to strategy, he just simply loved food that much now.
- Bianca was woken up by a loud burp. She looked over and could make out two shapes shoving food into their mouths. Suddenly she heard a groan that sounded like it was being muffled by food and remembered where she was. “Hilbert, are you alright?” Bianca slowly made her way towards the kitchen. Her friend turned around with a sauce stained face. Bianca’s hat had fallen off while she was sleeping, and her hair was all messy and falling all around her face. She’d removed her socks and orange vest leaving her in only her white dress. As she started rubbing her eyes, Hilbert thought to himself how much he wanted to plant a big kiss right on her cheek. But he couldn’t do that just yet. How unromantic would it be for her first kiss to be from some schlub with pizza all over his face who hadn’t even gotten all the gym badges yet? He’d wait for her sake.
- Bianca walked over and frowned noticing his new clothes. Ah fooie she couldn’t see his cute little belly button anymore. “But he’ll grow into them soon enough.” That thought going through her head, she turned redder than the tomato sauce all over his face. Speaking of which: “Hilbert, you got- never mind I’ll get it.” She licked her thumb and wiped the sauce off. That’s when she noticed Munchlax grumbling in painful fullness while Hilbert was still munching on a slice. A big grin split her face as she pat his belly which made it wobble for a couple of seconds in contrast to the firm orb of fullness it would have been months ago. “Hilbert you’re coming along so nicely,” she said as she gave his love handle a pinch. Swatting her hands away playfully, Hilbert laughs. “All thanks to you, but -ooph- I’m still kind of full and you just woke up so I’m sure you’re hungry. I’d need to rub out this fullness a little first though.”
- Bianca gave a little smile as she put her hands on his flabby midriff and started to rub. “W-w-woah hey you don’t have to do that! This is supposed to be your day off!” Bianca simply tells him that giving him belly rubs after a big meal makes him feel relaxed. Hilbert stops his protesting, secretly thankful for her service; he slumps forward in his chair which makes his belly puff out further into Bianca’s eager hands, but a thought enters his head. “Could she actually…like all this.” Seeing her gently smile while humming a little tune leaves him confused. Does she actually enjoy his softness or is she just happy to be helping? He can’t exactly ask someone who isn’t even his girlfriend, “hey does my gut turn you on?” Not his girlfriend. The thought sent him reaching for the final slice as he shoved it in quickly in frustration. This made her exclaim that somebody was hungry as she gave his belly a little wobble which just made things worse.
- Hilbert just wanted to hug and squeeze her and smell her hair and whatever else couple’s do but he honestly felt like if he wasn’t the best, that it wouldn’t be fair to her. Bianca for her part was testing the limits of her courage even doing this much. As Hilbert’s fullness began to subside, a thought entered Bianca’s head. She noticed how his butt was starting to flare out while sitting; watching it jiggle yesterday helped her realize the truth. “His hips are bigger than mine now, and he’s a boy!” She needed to cool down! “I-I’m going to go t-take a shower. You just think about what you want for dinner.” Bianca ran out as fast as she could, leaving a perplexed Hilbert in the kitchen. She could be a little odd sometimes.
- The next day, Hilbert told Bianca that they should set a curfew for her. No adventuring after 5:00! Bianca was secretly relieved. She never would have asked for a break herself, so this let her recuperate a bit without her feeling like she let Hilbert down, which was exactly what he was counting on. Of course, this meant adventuring progress slowed to a crawl; it also meant the two were spending more time together. Everyday, Hilbert’s willpower to not just sweep Bianca off her feet and kiss her eroded. In an effort to prevent premature confession, he had increased his rate of consumption so that he was pretty much constantly eating. Bianca made sure to stock up on tons of snack foods for him to munch on at the beginning of every week.
- It was funny, he had enlisted Bianca’s help at first so he wouldn’t have to eat junk food. Now, he was shoving it into his mouth without pause. As long as he was fed, he didn’t care what it was at this point. This slower pace meant it took more than a month for Bianca to get through the rest of the mountain, explore the surrounding area, and for her and Hilbert to train enough to defeat Brycen. Unfortunately, after Hilbert had earned his seventh gym bad, Team Plasma made their move. N was going to try to form a bond with the legendary dragon Zekrom at the top of Dragonspiral Tower! Cheren, Brycen, and Hilbert made up the front lines of Unova’s defense.
- Bianca wanted to come, but somebody needed to guard the professor. Besides, she knew what happened if you lost in a match with Plasma and couldn’t bear that happening again. This meant Hilbert had to scale the tower unassisted which unfortunately meant stairs.
- Panting and wheezing, Hilbert made his way up the second flight of stairs of the day. He put one hand on a nearby wall and another on his knee. He would have put it on his thigh, but his fat belly made that impossible. Hitting 200 pounds just yesterday, Hilbert had entered the world of obesity stomach first. He had really started to balloon lately, but he couldn’t help it! Food just tasted too good! As he finished gasping for breath, he straightened up and pulled a candy bar that Bianca had packed for him out of his bag. Shoving the whole thing into his mouth, he let out a grunt of contentment as he prepared for battle. This place was crawling with Plasma goons which Hilbert was secretly thankful for since they gave him a chance to catch his breath as they battled. If only he could find a place to sit down; his legs were starting to ache!
- It was almost as if he hadn’t changed clothes at all as the new ones were even tighter than the old ones had been forty pounds ago. His gut had started to droop down enough to cover his lap even when standing. Flab had collected all over his body, but it was especially bad near the bottom of his belly. The top half above his belly button was still firm looking, although if one touched it they’d realize it was wobbly jelly just like the rest of him. That might change though the top roll was beginning to consume his navel in a downward facing crescent of fat. But the half below his navel shook and jiggled up and down back and forth against his legs as he walked. A red line appeared around his center foreshadowing that his belly wouldn’t remain a single soft sphere if this kept up. Underneath his flap of fat, the button of his jeans was held together by a rubber band and his shirt was unable to cover even halfway between his chest and his waist. More like a crop top than a t-shirt at this point.
- After Bianca told him she didn’t mind his skin on display, they had grown up together, after all, he stopped worrying about clothing upgrades. He stubbornly refused to size up as each increase was an admittance to how big he’d gotten. His jacket’s zipper couldn’t close around his waistline anymore and the sleeves were tight around his now fattened arms. They would shake and wobble if they weren’t so constricted.
- “There’s so many!” Cheren shouted. Suddenly he had an idea as he released all his Pokemon at once. Brycen caught on quick and did the same. “We’ll take care of the peons. Hilbert, defeat N and stop this nonsense.” As prideful as Cheren was, he had seen N and Hilbert clash back at Chargestone and knew that defeating Plasma’s king was a bit beyond him. Despite how corpulent his friend had grown, Cheren still had faith in his abilities. Nodding, which made his chubby cheeks shake a little, Hilbert ran up the stairs. It was pure torture, especially since his thighs now rubbed together whenever he moved. But that didn’t matter, he had a region to save. He tried not to think about how his chest jiggled when he ran now. He had developed what one might call moobs. You could easily grab a handful and a little more besides, which embarrassed the boy to no end. They even pressed against his shirt noticeably! He was really starting to get some serious hip fat too. His jeans squeezed him like a snake and soft handfuls of love handle spilled over each side, even sagging over the waistband a little bit. His butt pressed against his jeans as his thigh fat swelled out to match his muffin top. Each cheek was about the size of the top half of his belly and bounced around almost as much.
- In fact, the Plasma grunts on the next floor started to laugh heavily at the heavy bloated dough boy that arrived, double-chinned face red and covered with sweat. The laughter stopped as he took a page out of Cheren’s book and threw out all his Pokemon at once. “Out of the way small fry! I’ve got a meeting with your boss.” Even the Plasma sage ended up meekly stuttering a compliment about how “regal” the fat made Hilbert look not two minutes later as his four guards lay on the ground defeated. Munchlax made a flexing motion with his arms. Honestly, he was starting to enjoy this battling thing. It was fun to throw your weight around, especially so if you won which his trainer had a habit of doing. He was quickly returned to the Pokeball as Hilbert walked past the brownnoser up to the next floor.
- Finally at the top: he was sweaty, exhausted, hungry, and most of all relieved that he’d made it on time. N hadn’t left yet. There stood the legendary dragon. A strange blue lightning crackled around the black monolith; it’s piercing red eyes looking directly at the Plasma commander with a sort of respect. Hilbert quickly realized that N had been waiting for him, to tell him to seek out Reshiram for one final battle that would determine the fate of Unova. N didn’t even seem to notice his rival’s increased weight, almost as if he was looking at his spirit directly instead of his physical body. “The bonds between trainers and Pokemon have grown weak and are no longer worth protecting. That’s why destiny has chosen me as the victor.” But Hilbert saw into N’s eyes and for the first time understood. They were begging, pleading someone to prove him wrong. Hilbert nodded firmly at N as the legendary beast took to the skies, Cheren and Brycen arriving just a moment later.
- At the entrance to the Relic Castle, Bianca fidgets nervously. When she had seen Zekrom fly off, she thought something terrible had happened to her friends but was relieved when they returned shortly afterwards. But now they were off again, this time to awaken some legendary fire dragon. “Be on your guard Hilbert.” Cheren advised. “It’s likely that the enemy is already here.” The situation was serious enough that even Alder the League champion had come to assist. The fear that ran through her mind when Zekrom had risen from the tower ran through again. She watched Hilbert’s wide retreating back as he prepared to enter the castle and realized she might never see him again. A resolve welled up deep within her. “Hilbert!” She shouted as loudly as she could. He turned around surprised. “I love you!” Bianca closed her eyes as she said this, mentally preparing for a rejection or worse, nothing. What she got instead was a shuffling sound and then a slightly pudgy hand beneath her chin as it was lifted to look Hilbert in the eyes.
- Bianca’s confession had shattered the last remaining willpower Hilbert had towards waiting. It replaced all his thoughts of wanting to impress her and to wait until later with one more much simpler desire. He wrapped his lips around hers in a gentle kiss. It was quick, but it got the point across. “Well it’s about time! And of course, you wait until now to do it too!” Cheren shouted, although even he couldn’t keep the grin off his face. The champion had tears in his eyes and Hilbert and Bianca both shyly smiled. Hilbert walked too the entrance again, but this time turned around on his own towards Bianca. “Team Plasma’s done for now that I have more of those to look forward to!” Cheren guffaws. “Really? That’s the line you go with!?” Bianca giggles as she hears the two boys argue all the way into the castle; once she’s certain their out of earshot she does a little hop and cheer, hand up in the air and all.
- Fortunately, the toughest resistance Team Plasma offered was a long grandiose speech from Ghetsis. Hilbert’s weight was beneficial in his exploration for once. Sure, there was a lot of walking, but his heavy form helped him fall down the holes faster and his blubber kept him nice and slow, so he didn’t trigger the sand traps. No stone to be found, however. Hilbert tried not to let the disappointment show too much on his face, but that was replaced with surprise at Professor Juniper telling everyone to get to Nacrene City right that moment! They arrive as Lenora and Juniper stepped out to greet them. “Children, so glad you could- woah b-big.” Juniper hadn’t noticed it on the phone, but her star pupil had really porked up. Although now that she thought about it, his face did look a little squishier. Noticing the embarrassed look on his face and the strange glare Bianca was giving her, the professor decided to get down to business.
- “Wow, it was right under everyone’s noses the whole time! It would have been bad if Team Plasma had seen it back then.” The Light Stone was safe entirely by happenstance; maybe destiny really was on their side after all? Hilbert was chosen to be Unova’s last hope if Alder failed to defeat N. He confidently stepped forward and grabbed the stone from the Professor’s hands; in that moment, it was as if he stood as tall and proud as the champion himself. Of course, the effect was lessened somewhat by his stomach growling afterwards. Even Hilbert had to laugh a little at this one. Alder clapped his hands together and announced that it had been a long day and it was time to go their separate ways. He clasped Hilbert’s shoulder firmly and didn’t let how much his fingers sank in distract him too much. “Kid, if there’s anyone I’d like backing me up, it would be you. I hope it doesn’t come to that, but be ready.” And with that foreboding declaration, the champion walked off.
- Juniper sighed. “I never thought it would come to this.” Her frown was quickly replaced as she pulled the three children into a hug. “Oh, but I’m just so proud of all of you. You’ve all really changed since I gave you your first Pokemon. Er, not just physically of course.” She bid them farewell but not before telling the trainers the three to remember to keep her updated and to call every weekend and of course to remember to brush their teeth thrice a day. “Honestly, I wish she wouldn’t fuss so much,” but Cheren couldn’t help but smile.
- “Would you like to come with us for dinner?” Hilbert offered. He hoped Cheren wouldn’t be too weirded out by the belly rubbing that had now become custom. Maybe Hilbert could try to hold in some of his louder belches. Cheren declined however, “I’d like to get to Opelucid as soon as possible, I need to become a better training partner for your fight against N.” Then Cheren winked. “Besides, I’ve never liked being the third wheel,” he left his two blushing friends behind as he went his own way. All of a sudden, the blush left Hilbert’s face as he shrugged and wrapped an arm around Bianca. She giggled as she wrapped her arms around Hilbert’s waist, sinking in at least an inch in both the front and the back. Her arms were having trouble reaching all the way around now but neither of them were bothered as they leaned in to-*munch**munch*. They were interrupted yet again by Munchlax’s chewing.
- Unperturbed, Hilbert proceeded with the kiss. He smirked afterwards as he watched the astonished look on his Pokemon’s face. “That’s right, you were in your Pokeball when Bianca and I sealed the deal. I knew you were doing that on purpose!” Bianca gasped and put her hands on her hips looking a stern and even a little betrayed. Munchlax honestly felt bad for the first time in his life. That guilt was replaced by fear as Hilbert and Bianca nodded to each other and slowly advanced towards him, grinning. “Say Hilbert, did you know Munchlax hide food in their fur?” Bianca quickly grabbed Munchlax before he could scamper off. “No kidding, that sounds dirty. Seems to me like he needs a bath.” Munchlax could only struggle in vain as Bianca teleported them to the nearby Pinwheel Lake.
- “I hope he isn’t too sore about this tomorrow.” Hilbert said staring at a Pokeball containing a very wet, very cross Munchlax. He was relatively full as he and Bianca made their way out of the nearby café. They were planning on taking the leftover cinnamon rolls and coffee and making their way to the Pokecenter, but the trees were so pretty and vibrant and the cool autumn air was so relaxing that the two sat down on a bench nearby instead. As soon as Hilbert sat down however, the rubber band holding his pants together snapped open. His belly blanket blocked it from view of course, but it could be heard, and he felt it bounce against the back of his stomach. He lets out a small burp as he sighs. “Not exactly the most heroic look huh?” His eyes looked sad.
- Bianca quickly sat by his side. She squeezes his large midriff as hard as she can, sinking into his flabby chest and coaxing out another burp. “I like it,” she says to him, her voice muffled by the softness. If it had been anyone else, Hilbert would have thought they were just trying to make him feel better; since it was Bianca, that was one mystery finally put to rest. She quickly lifts her head up and adds that if he wants to lose the weight, she’d still be willing to help him. Hilbert just laughs, making the sphere taking up half his lap wobble like jelly, “you know, I was planning on telling you how I felt after I won the championship.” She sticks her finger in his navel making him yelp in surprise. “You jerk, you were going to make me wait that long?” She fake pouts as his rolls settle back into place.
- “The point is, I’ve been so busy trying to give you what I think you want, that I never really asked you what you wanted.” Hilbert wraps his arm around her soft but much smaller waist, pressing Bianca closer into himself. He smirked, it was his turn to tease her back. “I don’t mind getting nice and soft and doughy for you Bianca. If you had told me earlier, I could be 250 by now.” Bianca quickly stuffed a cinnamon roll into his lips; two of her biggest fantasies met in one day, she was brimming with confidence. “Let’s say we, make up for lost time?” Bianca gently traces her finger around Hilbert’s upper belly roll as she says this and for once, he has no witty retort and merely nods dumbly in response.
