- reseting to optimized defualts and setting the wake up by ethernet controller back.
- did not solve the problem
- ///////////////////////////////////////
- all usb devices in device manager are disabled regarding waking up the pc
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- tried disabling/exiting SSD samsung magician, same thing
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- disabled network controlller while having the pcie wakeup in bios enabled, still woke up

- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- awake timers are disabled
- computer allowed to sleep when playing media
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- tried sleeping without the internet cable plugged in, still woke up
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- uninstalled teamviever and disconnected the utp cable, still no sleep
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- if enabling wake up event options by OS, how do i setup wake on lan then? tried setting it but nothing happened
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- Tried disabling any wakeup event in the device manager for all common devices.
- /////////////////////////////////////////////////
- in BIOS there are "wake up event" options and the only thing enabled was the "wake up by BIOS" and after that it was the PCIE network card, i disabled that and it worked. BUT im trying to utilize it for wake on lan. so this is a real pain in the potato.
- TL:DR pc wakes up if "wakeup by pcie enabled" in bios, regardless if packets sent or not
- ///////////////////////////////////////
- SOLVED, UPDATED LAN DRIVER FINALLY
- //i thought it solved it but only temporarily....
