  1. Ideas:
  2.
  3. Set in a future cyberpunk realm
  4.
  5. You're a detective, cyber Beyoncé needs your help, the mecha spice girls (created to replace the spice girls on stage) have gone rogue and have a plan to take out the real spice girls at their next performance
  6.
  7. Cyber Beyoncé is a cyborg who has reformed destiny's child to compete against the spice girls, but she still doesn't want the live ones destroyed! It sets a bad precedent.
  8.
  9. You can't tell who's the real spice girls and who isn't! Unless you have Beyoncé there or you ask them paradoxes - they're weak to this but in the future they fix this issue (hence why Lisa isn't affected in space station). It also stuns them for like 10 seconds.
  10.
  11. The mecha spice girls can be conquered by finding their leader (mecha posh spice) and changing her "good/evil" switch back to good, it's on the back of her neck.
  12.
  13. At the end they sign a poster which is going to go up in the research vessel in space station.
  14.
  15. You have a Mr Fusion with 4 charges in it to use your augmentations - you need to eat food to increase the number of charges.
  16.
  17. 5 mini robot assassins, in the order of spice girl's preference, attack the player at various stages:
  18.
  19. - Mecha Baby Assassin, a literal creepy metal baby doll, attacks you in your apartment.
  20.
  21. - Mecha Fox Assassin, a small red fox, stalks you in S-Club 77 from behind a red curtain.
  22.
  23. - Mecha Mini Leopard Assassin, an elegant spotted leopard, jumps on you from above on the roof of the upper streets.
  24.
  25. - Mecha Wolf Assassin, a dog driving a flying car attacks you in your flycar on your way to Mega Concert Garden.
  26.
  27. - And Finally, Mecha Cat Assassin, an elegant black cat, confronts you head on when you arrive in Mega Concert Garden.
  28.
  29.
  30.
  31. Actual Notes:
  32.
  33. "Detective [playername], is it? Please, take a seat." The commander motions for you to come in and sit down. It's a high office, the 187th floor you believe, far above the gritty reality of the low streets. Out the vast panoramic smart window, you can see jagged buildings, some pristine in white and gold, others ragged, neon signs and advertisements blanket the skyline, airborne flycars zip by at breakneck speeds.
  34.
  35. "Detective, as I'm sure you're aware the Spice Girls Power Spectacular 2077 concert is this evening. Unfortunately our intelligence has received word that the mecha spice girls are planning an attack. I must let you in on a little secret here detective, as it's pertinent to the mission. Top secret information though you understand? Performing in every concert is taxing for the girls, and as such the Spice Girls have been immortalised in walking talking animatronic performers, while the real Spice girls have had their lives prolonged thanks to expensive medical services only available to the mega wealthy. It's amazing what money can do for you, isn't it? However our intelligence reports that the robots appear to consider their real live counterparts inferior, and are planning on a hostile take over at the MCG, that is the Mega Concert Garden. I'll let our head of mecha operations fill you in on the details, she's over in the western precinct, head that way when you're ready."
  36.
  37. You are standing in Commander Backstreet's Office, high in the cyber-police headquarters. The only exit is the elevator to the south.
  38.

  73. - Just generates a small raincloud that follows you or you can place it over someone else.
  74.

  83.
  84. Starting Inventory
  85.
  86. - Within your stomach is a Mr Fusion, which when fed food gives you augmentation charges. The indicator dial reads "4 charges", unless some have been used.
  87.
  88. - Your trusty detective's badge in a worn leather wallet.
  89.
  90. - Your custom cytech blaster. A large, heavily worn and scratched black and silver blaster. Deadly.
  91.
  92. Locations:
  93.
  94. - Commander Backstreet's Office
  95.
  96. - You are standing in the commander's office, high up in the cyber-police headquarters. The only exit is the elevator to the south. Your augmented night vision shows the commanders details floating above his head. Commander Boys Backstreet, sixty two years old, two augmentations registered.
  97.
  98. - If the player asks, you can tell that he has a brain augmentation that allows him to think for longer periods of time without getting tired, and an info patch that patches him into the police database so he has information on hand at all times.
  99.
  100.
  101. - Police HQ Foyer
  102.
  103. - You enter the foyer of the police HQ building. Big glass doors open out to the lower streets to the east. There is a set of couches in this lobby, with a small flyer on the coffee table.
  104.
  105. - The flyer is an advertisement for the Spice Girls Power Spectacular 2077 concert, it has the 5 member's beaming faces on the front. It appears to be a charity event, to fund the 'pursuit of ethical sciences'.
  106.
  107.
  108. - The Lower Streets (Electric Park)
  109.
  110. - The Lower Streets make up the underlayer of New New New New York. The city has been split into two layers, the gritty underworld on the ground level, and the higher plane where the wealthy live. The upper layer casts so much shade on the ground beneath that sunlight is a rare sight down here. There is an old noodle stand here. To either side of the courtyard lie the Police HQ and the Western Precinct building. Your apartment building lies to the south. To the north there is an enormous red lit building.
  111.
  112. - The noodle stand has a slightly broken sign that reads, "Egg Chen's Noodles". They're salt flavored, but delicious. The owner knows you, and gives you a bowl on the house. If the player needs more, he complains he needs time to cook up another batch. The bowl of noodles is good for two charges.
  113.
  114.
  115. - Your Office/Apartment
  116.
  117. - You enter your dual purpose office and apartment. Your bed, desk and kitchenette all fit into one room. Real estate is tough to come by these days, so you have to make do with what you have. Exits are north.
  118.
  119. - There is a baby doll here, you don't seem to remember owning a baby doll...
  120.
  121. - There is an apple in the fridge that is good for one charge. On the desk is your computer that's displaying a directory of historical case files. It includes entries such as "The great chippy and ice cream incident of 1947." and "The Vitamin Z disaster".
  122.
  123. - If the players hack the computer, it can show them a blueprint of the MCG, which shows a secret vent that leads backstage.
  124.
  125.
  126. - Western Precinct Foyer
  127.
  128. - This is the entranceway to the western precinct. There is a vending machine here. Up ahead is a receptionist and an elevator. The receptionist can buzz you through if you show your badge.
  129.
  130. - You only have enough change to buy 1 packet of chippies. If the player uses their hacking glove, they can dispense 4 packets. This should conclude the food gathering options.
  131.
  132.
  133. - Cyber Beyoncé's Office
  134.
  135. - You enter an office similar to Commander Backstreets. There is an elevator here. In front of you sits the super intendent of the western precinct.
  136.
  137. - Cyber Beyoncé (or, superintendent, until introduced) is here. She was injured in a attack on a helicopter heading to one of her shows, and was given lifesaving augmentations. Ever since she has been motivated to prevent crime before it can happen to others and formed the 'Destiny's Crime' anti crime team. She explains that she received an anonymous tip about the mecha spice girls plan to attack the band on stage and destroy the real spice girls, and pretend it is part of the act and that the real spice girls were fake ones. She follows you from now on.
  138.
  139.
  140. - S-Club 77
  141.
  142. - The club is enormous, and filled with red neon lighting. A sign above the door reads 'S-Club 77'.
  143.
  144. - The bouncer won't let you through unless you're with Beyoncé (or they do something sufficiently clever), as the club claims it is super exclusive and only open to celebrities and those on the list.
  145.
  146. - If the player enters with Beyoncé (they should probably still disguise up as someone awesome for this, she explains), she will buy you a drink. It makes you feel more confident but it doesn't give you another charge.
  147.
  148. - Inside, there is all manner of lavish debauchery. Drinks, velvet, pole dancers, music, decadent food (which, technically, the players can steal a portion of but only if they're sufficiently creative about it), the works. At the back of the room you can see an elevator marked 'VIP's only'. Beyoncé can get up there.
  149.
  150. - You spot a small red fox in the wings by the stage, is that part of the act?
  151.
  152.
  153. - VIP Room
  154.
  155. - You enter the VIP room, and even more lavish but intimate room with all the amenities. There is a man in a lavish white and silver suit here. There is a set of doors to the north leading out to the upper levels.
  156.
  157. - The VIP room contains the club owner, Nathan Sync, who when questioned will tell you that the best mech maker in the land is "the doctor", an eccentric engineer in the upper levels, his door is just outside and down the alleyway to the east.
  158.
  159.
  160. - The Upper Streets
  161.
  162. - You step out onto a rooftop level of the club. The upper levels can ben seen in every direction and are bathed in the evening sunlight. They're beautiful. There is a dock here, with a stainless steel flycar. There is an alleyway to the east.
  163.
  164. - A mini metallic leopard pounces upon you from above!
  165.
  166.
  167. - The Dock
  168.
  169. - There is of course a DeLorean here. The player can use the Nintendo glove to steal it and fly to the MCG.
  170.
  171. - While flying to the Mega Concert Garden, you see a small white flycar hurtling towards yours. It appears to have a wolf driving!!!!!
  172.
  173.
  174. - The Engineer's Lab
  175.
  176. - Down a shady alleyway you find the entrance to what appears to be an old computer repair store. Walking inside you find old computer parts strewn around in every direction. There is a man here with a green mohawk and leather studded jacket.
  177.
  178. - He tells you he created the spice girls, and that their 'good/evil' switch probably got knocked. If pressed, he'll also reveal that the leader is posh spice, and flicking the switch on her neck should fix all of them, also he reveals that they could be confused by a paradox.
  179.
  180.
  181. - Mega Concert Garden Stage
  182.
  183. - You arrive at the massive stage and stands that comprises the world famous Mega Concert Garden. This is the largest venue you've ever seen! The crowd is still getting seated, the warm up band is currently playing but the spice girls haven't entered from backstage yet. There is an elegant black cat here.
  184.
  185. - The cat tells them one last time to back off, if they say no it lunges at their face. The players have to defeat it somehow.
  186.
  187. - If the player knows about the vent, they can get to the backstage stealthily this way.
  188.
  189.
  190. - Backstage
  191.
  192. - You enter the backstage greenroom, there are an incredible number of people here, it takes a lot of crew to run a show! You see the spice girls on the left wings, about to go out onto the stage. But wait! You also see the spice girls on the right wings, about to go onto the stage! (Left spice girls are real ones).
  193.
  194. - The fight happens on stage. Work out which side is the real spice girls, then find posh and flick her switch. After all is resolved, the 10 spice girls perform together to thunderous applause and you get VIP tickets to all future concerts for saving them. They sign a set of spice girls posters, and give you one, the other is set to go on a scientific research vessel that they are sponsoring. Yay! You have won.
  195.
  196.
