  1. [18:04] Aeolus says, "You're that guy from the ritual..."
  2. [18:05] Tiernay Reveille says, "Hmn, yeah. That would be me... That guy."
  3. [18:07] Steps were taken to approach the shadow magi. He knew Tiernay was in league with the witches... and probably a great deal stronger than him, but even so Aeolus couldn't simply turn a blind eye to the man's presence.
  4.
  5. "I want answer... what were those people with you and the demon the other day? Why did that purple-haired guy have black blood?
  6.
  7. Is he... some sort of demon himself?"
  8. (Aeolus)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [18:14] "Hmn, I don't entirely understand myself. Nor do I desire to, because it isn't necessarily my problem."
  12.
  13. Tiernay hums, his violet hue narrowing upon the youth in question. As one would normally expect from one of his stature, there seemed to be not but an opposite stance.
  14.
  15. No hostility, nor much else other than status that should warrant tension.
  16.
  17. "Quite disrespectful to walk up to someone and ask them questions on a whim. Do you think I answer to you? Ah... That'd be amusing though, wouldn't it?"
  18. (Tiernay Reveille)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [18:18] So he didn't understand then...? A brow rose in suspicion-- surely the man was lying. He had to have some sort of affiliation with them.
  22.
  23. He had to know something, but seemed to be simply unwilling to share whatever it was.
  24.
  25. "I don't care about showing respect to someone like you. You're the scum of Esshar.
  26.
  27. As for answering to me? Well, you can either tell me what I want to know now, or you can tell the King after I defeat you and drag you back to Nysea, it's your choice."
  28.
  29. A sapphire glare was given to the man. Aeolus had to be confident in himself, or at least trick himself into believing he could win should a battle ensue.
  30. (Aeolus)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [18:28] "Hmn, that's why I hate kids. When I was your age, I went about tending to the gardens rather than talking down to people that could very well kill me."
  34.
  35. Evidently, his agitation has yet to surface, though one could feel the slight occultic nature of the shadows which dance about him. Such only made that much more apparent by the darkening ichor which drips from his tresses as he straightens his posture.
  36.
  37. "Your king? You mean the man I've bested on multiple occasions, don't you. Ahaha... This sort of behavior is to be anticipated from sheep. Your parents should have taught you better."
  38.
  39. The shadows coalesce, a claw thrusting out wards to latch onto none other than Aeolus's person. The magi was beyond annoyed, and as such, he'd simply press on with shutting the adolescent up.
  40. (Tiernay Reveille)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [18:36] "Yeah...?
  44.
  45. Well, unfortunate I don't have the option to tend to gardens. Do you know why? It's because my city has been stolen from me, and we have even bigger issues to worry about, those being Nebula's peons such as yourself.
  46.
  47. So excuse me for not living a more normal life. I'm sure when you were growing up the witches were busy hiding and not ruining the world. I envy that you were able to 'tend to gardens' but that's simply not an option for my generation."
  48.
  49. It wasn't an option for the future of Nysea at all. Hearing that Tiernay was strong enough to defeat the King was troubling, however he wouldn't simply return and report that he encountered the man and decided to run in fear of his life.
  50.
  51. No, Aeolus' ideal report would be that he tried his best to capture one of the coven's accomplices, even if it had resulted in failure.
  52.
  53. "I don't care who you've beaten, or how many times you've beaten them... what matters to me is that I try to take you down right here and right now.
  54.
  55. For my family, for my friends, for Esshar." The youth would draw the blade from his back and recall Alexander's words.
  56.
  57. Concentrate and let your intent bleed into your blade.
  58.
  59. Gusts of wind began to blow wildly within the direction of the two before finding itself covering his blade in a veil.
  60.
  61. "I wield this sword to extinguish the flames of evil that you all callously spread throughout Esshar. I will not lose here."
  62.
  63. With the claw coming towards his form, Aeolus leapt backwards to evade, before readying himself to strike.
  64. (Aeolus)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [18:37] Tiernay Reveille says, "Alright, lets move."
  68. [18:40] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Tiernay Reveille}
  69. [18:40] ** Tiernay Reveille has inflicted an injury upon Aeolus. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  70. [18:59] Such a long winded reason, wasted upon a character that hardly feels a desire to look so deep into it. Many of these unfamiliar faces remained to be but a reflection of character, pushed upon his conscious for the sake of change.
  71.
  72. Unending... Though such hardly seems to clash against the peculiar material of his weapon, the conduit given an edge perfect for extending the reach of his shadows. For every blow traded, one could feel its corruption seeping into one's circuits, dampening the ability to cast until it was the elusive shadow mage that had slipped through the winds itself to close the distance between them both.
  73.
  74. "You don't know what I've gone through. Aha... That is all you lot know how to do. Speak, and yell, and bleed."
  75.
  76. No sort of grace, really. Though the brutish event is ended all the same, a mana-infused strike from his fist into the adolescent's jaw surely sending him into the dirt beneath with a sickening 'crack' upon its impact.
  77.
  78. "Little beasts without a semblance of an understanding of what is before you.. Scum? Hah, the only scum here is you. The defeated."
  79.
  80. The teen had some talent, though that alone certainly wouldn't hand him his victory at every occurrence of strife.
  81. (Tiernay Reveille)
  82. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  83.
  84. [19:08] With his blade at his side-- the sword that Aeolus had willed his intents on, transforming it from a normal blade to one that would aid him in his conquest to liberate Esshar of it's evils, the Knight charged forwards.
  85.
  86. He was quick on the battle field, moving lightly inwards to strike before just as quickly retreating back to prepare for his next attack as well as evade whatever his opponent would throw at him.
  87.
  88. Yet... Tiernay was one of the shadows-- easily seeping into the ground before re-appearing elsewhere. A hard opponent to cut down. Not that there was any expectations of this battle being anything less than difficult.
  89.
  90. With each blow to the Knights mythril threaded attire, he could feel his mana seeping away, almost as though running from his frame to unite with the superior of the two-- that being the Reveille.
  91.
  92. As things progressed Aeolus knew that victory was hopeless. His confidence had shattered in the face of Tiernay's combative prowess. What was there to do now?
  93.
  94. "I don't know what you've done through... I don't understand you, nor do I think I'll ever be able to. Why is... why is someone as powerful as yourself fighting on the side of destruction?"
  95.
  96. It was infuriating, a man like Tiernay could've easily shifted the tides in a battle field, and yet he chose to align himself with those who wished to bring ruin.
  97.
  98. As Aeolus charged in for another strike remaining unrelenting in his pursuit, he found himself being hit to the jaw.
  99.
  100. Crack.
  101.
  102. Feelings of pain laced the afflicted area, and both hands habitually rushed to grasp at it. This wasn't good-- it was already a losing battle and now he had the pain of a broken jaw to deal with. Aeolus would gather the last of his mana into a hurricane slash, creating a giant gust of wind between the two as he moved to make an escape.
  103. (Aeolus)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [19:13] "Destruction, order. Never truly cared for the terms. I live a life of passion and growth. The same day my so-called friends would find themselves in the jaws of the beast, would be the same day I'd likely save their lives.~"
  107.
  108. A hypocrite by any means, though one could certainly understand that there is little he desires other than enjoying this brief walk of life.
  109.
  110. "At least, until the day a familiar face cuts me down for all the terrible things I've done, or will do." Tiernay chuckles, waving a hand as Aeolus makes his escape.
  111.
  112. He surely wouldn't give chase, the shadow magi's intent hadn't been to capture, nor kill this teen after all.
  113. (Tiernay Reveille)
