I have just found your blog and would like to make a comment about honey on hemorrhoids. For quite a few months I have had recurring hemorrhoid discomfort. I have been using a cream recommended by a pharmacist with little or no improvement. I eat a lot of honey which I believe is good for my health, and have for years, but haven't noticed any reduction in the discomfort. About a fortnight ago, knowing of the claims that honey has healing properties, I decided to apply honey directly onto the hemorrhoids. Admittedly it was a bit messy and sticky but since the first application I have had almost no discomfort from the hemorrhoids. I haven't used the cream since I started with the honey and have only applied honey every 3 or 4 days. It's too early to say if the honey is the "cure" or not but I'm not complaining and I will keep using the honey until someone, or my hemorrhoids, proves otherwise.
