James rolled onto his stomach in the early hours of the morning but felt that something wasn't quite right. He sat up in a daze, rubbed his face and eyes, then looked over and saw a small piece of paper with the words "To James" on the front.

Though confused, he grabbed the note and began skimming through it. For most of it, he assumed it was a joke until he skimmed over one sentence: "Go check yourself out in the mirror." This sentence almost made him believe something was wrong, sending a shiver down his spine as he swung his legs over the side of the bed, stood up, and walked to the bathroom across the hall in the suite.

He just uncovered his eyes from rubbing them when he noticed three things. First, he was shorter. A lot shorter. Second, his hair was long, unbrushed and brown. Third, he wasn't male. Crashing backwards into the door behind him, he felt around his now-feminine face and stared at the blue eyes that looked right back at him. A few seconds passed before he screamed out a loud, harrowing, fearful scream.

Within a few minutes the rest of the band was waiting at James's door, pounding on it as they tried to get his attention. James frantically looked around the room, trying to find something to cover himself with before he settled with the comforter on his bed and rushed to open the door. One after another, the band filed in until all four of them were there.

Lars immediately laughed a bit when he saw the hunched figure covered by the comforter. "James, that's a pretty depressing excuse if you were trying to scare us or something," he scoffed. Kirk stifled his laughs within his hand and Jason confusedly stared at the figure.

"James, aren't you gonna take that off?" Jason asked. James peeked out to them from a fold in the comforter that allowed light in, then sighed and let the comforter drop. The other three were confused when the short woman stood before them instead of their much taller friend. He peered up through the strands of tawny hair and covered his face with his hands.

The others were taken off guard when he screamed a violent, drawn out "Fuck!" into his hands. Lars gently touched his shoulder and his head whipped up quickly. "Where's James?" He asked. James yelled again and ripped himself away from the drummer.

"I am James, you asshole!" James's high voice squeaked out. Kirk couldn't stop himself from giggling that time, and Jason looked on with a tilted head and eyes filled with confusion. Lars stared at him unamusedly and sighed.

"Jackson, where's James?" Lars asked again. This made James rage. Lars stood still when, who he assumed was Jackson, started to charge at him, thinking he wouldn't be phased by the small woman running into him. Before he knew it, he was on the ground and his chest was being punched by James.

When Kirk and Jason pulled him off of Lars, he propped himself up on his elbows with wide green eyes and breathed heavily. "You know, I think that's actually James," he said between breaths. James crossed his arms over his chest and walked to the bathroom to grab the note once the other members let him go.

James immediately handed the note to Jason, who then began to read parts aloud. "Hello, James. This is from Jackson. Just wanted to let you know that you shouldn't be a sexist asshole to a witch who knows how to switch bodies," he read. Kirk's joking demeanor turned sour and he lost his smile, along with both Lars and James.

"If you can find me before tonight's show, congratulations. If not, you'll have fun embarrassing yourself in front of 20,000 peoplem. I promise. P.S., you have until 11:30 tonight to find me or else you're gonna be stuck in my body." Jason looked up from the letter at who he now knew was James, and began to panic.

"Oh holy fucking shit, holy fucking shit, holy <i>fucking</i> shit," Lars repeated. Kirk stared blankly into the wall, and James went into a rampage. By the time all of them had come to their senses, James had smashed two lamps and broken eight composite wood coasters in half, all the while screaming at the top of his lungs.

Jason looked around for a few moments, then stuttered and tripped over his words. "I...Uh...So first and foremost, James, we're gonna have to call you Jackson outside of the room cus otherwise we're gonna confuse everyone...Ah..." he started. Lars added to it.

"I'll lend you some clothes, and we're gonna track down that slipery motherfucker," Lars yelled as he walked out the door of the suite. When James finally realized the severity of the entire situation, the tears he held in during the conversation they had finally began to fall and he dropped to his knees, wailing out a long cry.

Jason crouched next to James after a few moments and slipped his arm over his shoulders, rubbing his arm as he rested his chin atop his amber-colored head. "Hey, man, don't worry. We'll find your body soon...Or should I have phrased that as 'Hey, girl,' instead?" He joked.

James looked up, eyes puffy from crying and he spoke with a hoarse, high voice. "I will rip your cock off if you do that one more time," he warned. Jason stopped smiling and hugged the man closer in silence.

"So...Should we start calling him...by like...her and shit like that?" Kirk asked. James and Jason both nodded in agreement. Lars returned with a pair of his jeans and a shirt, and tossed them at James. Jason warned against it, but when James stood up with the clothes in hand to change, he spat at Lars.

"Well that was completely uncalled for," Lars said with a disgusted voice and expression as he tried to shake the spitball off of his foot. Jason rolled his eyes as the spitball was tossed off his foot and stepped back to try to avoid it.
