1. People buy Macs because they are almost at the par with Windows laptops. Plus, it also makes sense to people who already are deep in Apple's Ecosystem.

You are defending Chromebooks as if I insulted you because you purchased one. So let me say one last time, I did not.
All I said that Chromebooks are not worth $750 let alone $1000.

Ask a rational man what would he buy for a similar price,
Device A = Chrome + Optional Linux, Or
Device B = Chrome + Optional Linux + Windows + seemingly better internals too, bigger storage is one good example.

Linux apps are way inferior than the apps available on Windows/MacOS. Your example of LibreOffice clearly shows this. Lack of Video Games, Adobe apps (I think so), etc.

Same thing applies to Windows, you can enable them whenever you desire.
