What's my forum signature all about?

My colleagues and I strive for financial transparency in the field we work in because it's really easy to get lowballed nowadays in the workforce. The same is apparent in the consumer world, which is why RFD exists to help develop a collective body of deal-related knowledge.

I'm just doing my part by including what I pay for from my ISPs because too many people I know have been paying overpriced rack rates and to raise awareness I have updated my signature accordingly.

I got my phone plan because I worked for a company partnered with Rogers, so all I had to do was provide them my work email and Rogers would confirm that I worked for them. I ended up getting a $50/mo Rogers Infinite 20 plan, then a month later they gave me 10 GB free for some period of time (1 or 2 years, I don't remember).

I got my internet plan from contacting a Bell rep in the RFD Bell New Customer thread, which got me my 12 month $50 credit. I haggled a few months later on the phone and managed to get another $5 off, so now I am getting a $55 credit.

My PC specs are just there for show.
