PERSONALITY:
ー If VULNERA SANENTUR radiates off hope and happiness, then Jiwon radiates off darkness and power. Because of how she was brought up, she always stood and walked down the hall with her head up high, exuding an odd but intimidating presence of finesse and danger. People can’t help but unconsciously move and make way for her, either out of respect or out of pure fear. She’s well known for her stoic expressions and rarely ever slips up with them, never showing fear or helplessness in her eyes. Despite all of this, she doesn’t like to take the spotlight and volunteer as a leader because leaders will inevitably deal with opposition, and through the power of thought and rationalizing, she realized that it’s more beneficial for someone more worthy than herself to take over reins. Jiwon of course won’t completely submit to them, but she can recognize when a figure deserves her respect and attention.
    Jiwoo is a rational person, as she likes being in control of her actions and does not like acting out of pure emotion or thought. She considers the options, seeing which one will have more benefits to her, and takes her time before she responds with anything. Because of this, she is not willing to do anything as stupid as your typical Gryffindor and risk losing points--or her pride--and stays low when it comes to any activities that can get her expelled, unless you present to her an explanation as to why she should.
    She’s not particularly stuck up or extremely however she does have a sense of pride and will be angered if it is in danger--she refuses to be embarrassed and in all honesty, hates losing. Perhaps it’s because of her ambition, but she’ll do a lot to make sure she succeeds in not being embarrassed. Hell, she’d even cheat a bit to be successful, because at the end of the day, the good guys will have to suffer with the punishments, not the cheaters.
Jiwon is undisputedly an introvert, with how she prefers to keep to herself rather than socializing with many people, if any at all. She hates how people just assume--which is why there are rumors of her everywhere in which she killed mice to eating a tarantula. People--except for Yerim--don’t bother to learn or stand in her shoes, so instead of putting herself out there, she protects herself with that strong wall of anti-socialness. Jiwon gets drained quite quickly when she’s with others, whether it is at school or at a club. She, not surprisingly, has a hard time trusting others and opening up to them, because it’s so scary sometimes, putting yourself out there for the world to tear you down. If you let people into your heart, they’ll have the power of her heart, not Jiwon the That’s why she barely has any friends outside of the other girls as of recently or Yerim.
Even at a young age, she learned the ways of a sharp tongue. Dry humor runs in the family and cursing and sarcasm was developed with more exploration outside of the house. Like her introvertism, it serves as another wall of protection because it scares everyone away. No one bothers to talk to her with how edgy and mean sounding she seems to be, warding them all off. Overtime, despite growing up in a high class of manners, the Death Eater missions allowed her to gain some street cred wisdom because she was placed in dangerous situations and lived to tell the tale. She learned how to survive through even the toughest of situations and it’s toughened her up in general, adding even more to her stoic face expressions.
The Death Eater missions require two huge things and it’s ambition and cunningness. Missions are quite hard, if not life threatening, because the Dark Lord could care less about his followers, as long as they can do what he asks of them. The only way you can completely them though is if you have the ambition to keep on going and the cunningness to find another way around the problem to get to the solution. Jiwon’s ambition to complete those missions and impress her parents are what had pushed her to do so successfully, and only with her cunningness can she find a way out of those solutions to safety.

BACKGROUND:
ー She was born into a well off family, with her father working for the Ministry of Magic, mother as the owner of the high-end potions shop Guk’s Bubbling Pot, both coming from well off wizarding families as well. After Jiwon showed her parents that she indeed was a witch and not a squib (thank god), they decided that is was best to just homeschool her until she was accepted into Hogwarts. She was (unknowingly) tutored by another Death Eater that her father had the pleasure of knowing--she never found out that he was one of them until she became a Death Eater herself at the age of fifteen after her father threw a party in celebration. While she was homeschooled, she also learned how to play the piano and violin as extracurriculars.
Because she was homeschooled until she was accepted to Hogwarts, she didn’t have much experiences in interacting with others outside of family. Some say that it was a lonely life she had, being stuck in the huge mansion all day without any playmates, but she honestly could care less about that. Jiwon had often spent time with her mother at her store (her dad was often gone doing death eater stuff or at the Ministry of Magic doing whatever they did), so she never felt ostracized or cheated out of her childhood--it was all enough for her. Her family became her life and she aimed to keep it like that.
Reality finally kicked in however when she realized that the perfect little oasis that she made was shrouded in fantasy. Her parents were Death Eaters and she realized what it meant to be a Death Eater--to pledge allegiance to the Dark Lord. They were paying more attention to the resurrection of the Dark Lord and much less with Jiwon, something that worried her because her family was everything for her. Because of her desperate need to keep the family with her, she fulfilled her father and mother’s wish of becoming a fellow Death Eater, doing whatever mission is assigned to her. Jiwon still regrets that decision, but there was nothing she could do at the time--all she can do is hide it from friends.
She really enjoyed her time in Hogwarts, you just can’t see it on her face. It’s always been stressful at home, trying to keep her parents pleased and be a Death Eater, and school has been a break from all of that. Sure, she only talks to Yerim and the occasional seat partner every blue moon, but it doesn’t mean that life is boring for her. She feels as happy as she did when she was a kid with Yerim and unlike her parents, Yerim makes the effort to understand her. They first met at the Slytherin dining tables and found out on the day they were sorted that they were roommates. Most of the classes have been a cinch for her, with only History of Magic giving her a rough time and is known as an excelling student in Hogwarts. The only thing that sucks about her life in Hogwarts is trying to hide her live at home from Yerim and the others at school.

ー is really famous for having a constant straight face, no matter what the time is or what’s happening around her. Only those who are lucky--or unlucky--enough will get to see her full range of expressions, but even for them it gets difficult seeing other sides of her besides her RBF. However, if she’s angry or wants to truly scare someone, she’ll glare at them and simply that will make even a grown man with muscles of steel and years at war become scared shitless.
ー despite her stoic expressions though, people fear her immensely, and that is mainly due to the aura she gives off. If it was anyone else besides her, people would just see it as the presence of nobility/an aristocrat with how she carries herself, but paired along with her reputation to bite back if need and her stoic expressions, it makes her seem like
ー unlike her father and mother, she could care less about pure-bloods and keeping magic to pureblood wizards only
ー her father has the death eater mark whereas her mother and herself both do not have one (they aren’t part of the inner circle like him). Her brother is not a death eater.
ー has never actually SEEN the Dark Lord himself but can recognize his voice
ー Yerim and her are complete opposites, with Yerim being outgoing and relatable while Jiwon is the cold and unapproachable one. No one really understands why Yerim is best friends with Jiwon seeing as her personality can be so sharp and angry sometimes, but Yerim just shrugs and says that it’s hard dealing with someone like herself, so she’s glad someone like Jiwon is there for her.
ー her cat Seulin is really picky with who she interacts with and will not hesitate to scratch you like crazy if you try to her without her permission. As of now, she only lets the Ko’s, Yerim, and a couple of the professors touch her. She also hisses like crazy when she senses something dangerous lurking around (some sixth-sense shit istg)
ー got into dark magic because she wanted to stay closer with her mother (she got into dark magic through Seungjae), but in all honesty, she’s genuinely interested in it. It’s only bad if it goes into the wrong hands and Jiwon is rather responsible with her self-studies of dark magic. Not only that, but because of her knowledge in dark magic, it allows her to understand DADA from another perspective and allowed her to become one of the top students in the subject
