  1. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 10:50 PM
  2. Blood splashes against Harvester's seething face as the Gladiator falls before her. After his body collapses against the floor, she becomes fully aware of the hole within her chest. Turning her back on the sole remaining Solar, Harvester sprints off into the foundry and busts through a metal wall into the night as her foe screams in anger.
  3.
  4. Harvester sprints through darkness before running up the side of a wall and scanning the horizon before taking off towards the nearest concentration of people in her almost feral flight response. Before she takes off, she has enough sense in her to bellow out
  5.
  6. "Ya ain't seen the last of me!"
  7. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 10:53 PM
  8. You make your way into Sentinel Hill, Nexus' shantytown district. The makeshift homes are piled high on top of each other, rickety 4 story blocks of hastily assembled wood and cloth pressed in against each other, barely enough room for two people to walk abreast in the cramped and filthy alleyways
  9. The scent of shit is overpowering. The throbbing of heartbeats and the allure of prey even moreso
  10. The Lady in Azure Veils is nowhere to be seen, she must not have decided on pursuing you?
  11. You faintly heard crashing noises that you assumed was her pursuit crashing through walls the same as you, but you left those behind in the Industrial district
  12. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 11:00 PM
  13. Harvester glances over her back behind her at the industrial secotr
  14. "Heh, see ya around Solar."
  15. The overpowering smell of refuse doesn't do much to slow Harvester down as she trudges along.
  16. "Can't believe ah let myself get hurt this bad. So much blood.... so hungry..."
  17. Harvester quickly scampers off of the street levels and onto the rooftops, as she travels along and searches for.... PREY
  18. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 11:07 PM
  19. Harvester drops several stories off of the ground onto the street in front of a tavern.
  20. The scent of food and the din of laughter echoes over to her as her chest rises and falls.
  21. "Ah could really use a drink..."
  22. Her spurs click across the ground as she marches into the saloon. All heads turn to her as the denizens of the drinking hole turn and stare at her. All is silent for several moments as Harvester looms before them all. The bartender, reaching for a club from underneath the bar counter stammers.
  23. "w-What the Hell do you want?!"
  24. Harvester cracks her neck before tilting her hat up, revealing her eerie glowing eyes.
  25. "Only a few minutes of yer time, about the same duration as the rest of your lives."
  26. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:12 PM
  27. Bottles shattered in the ensuing scuffle, watered down beer mixes with spilled blood in the dirt floor of the dingy bar. The corpses left by the blood harvest twitch and stir, the life drained from them replaced by the black power of Undeath. The wound in Harvester's guts remains, hampering her movements. Lessening her. But no longer a life threatening wound, no longer pulp of crushed organs. Merely an inconvience, one that will finish healing in time.
  28.
  29. The door of the bar caves inward, blasted off its hinges. In the doorway stands the Eclipse Solar whose friends you murdered, anima blazing. Her elegant fabrics are torn and she is sopping wet from head to toe. Her eyes burn with pure rage at the sight of you.
  30. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 11:14 PM
  31. "Yer just in time fer Happy Hour."
  32. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:14 PM
  33. You heft your axe at the sight of her return, but she blazes forward, gaining the first strike!
  34. Lady: 11
  35. Harvester: 5(edited)
  36.
  37. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:17 PM
  38. She rushes toward you, a streaking bolt of golden light: But you deflect her reckless charge by grabbing a nearby chair as a shield and commence a good old-fashioned barroom brawl
  39. [She fails to get past your Parry. Wat do? You have only 5 mana to spend on either an attack or an athletics move](edited)
  40. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 11:21 PM
  41. Harvester tosses her Duster open, fully revealing her wound as well as a full view of her Undead body. With her bandanna down, revealing her manic grin, she charges!
  42. The blunt end of her axe grinds against the floor before she closes the distance and delivers an upwards slash at her foe!
  43. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:25 PM
  44. She seems to disappear the moment you've commited to the strike, a blur of blue and white movement flashing backwards as she lands back in the middle of the street, crouching like a cougar preparing to pounce.
  45. The sunlight glints off her knife as it flashes from the folds of her robe
  46. With a flick is it sent streaking on a precision course towards your throat
  47. You desperately parry the blow, losing your footing from the rapid readjustment needed
  48. The zombies have finally risen
  49. They shamble, pouring out of the bar and fanning into the street. They're no match for your opponent but they hamper her, surrounding her and cutting off angles of movement(edited)
  50. Screams echo through the air as they begin savaging the populace of the city
  51. Wat do?
  52.
  53. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 11:36 PM
  54. Harvester grits her teeth as she staggers back behind her newest drinking buddies. She feels a lot better now, but she knows her head's still not on straight.
  55. Turning away, she cries out
  56. "SIC HER BOYS!"
  57. She breaks off into a full sprint, casually trucking through one of the main supporting pillars to this shitbox of a saloon and sprinting out through the other end as she makes a bee line through several buildings whilst trying to get her bearings.
  58. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:39 PM
  59. The saloon, being more of a hut than a proper structure, knows better than to contend with your desire for a back-door. A shadow falling over you warns you to the Lady on the rooftops, giving pursuit as you run. You're barely eking out a distance advantage over her.
  60. If you're going to keep this up, you'll need fuel.
  61.
  62. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:42 PM
  63. In your immediate area is closely packed slums
  64. Further off are buildings proper
  65. What sort of thing are you looking for?
  66.
  67.
  68.
  69. BBSA-Last Tuesday at 11:50 PM
  70. With a predatory glare, Harvester sprints a fair distance away into a dwelling off of this street, using her innate tracking senses to spot a place that clearly appears to have inhabitants inside it. With an insatiable hunger, she bursts through the wall of said dwelling and brutally devours whatever living things happen to be inside before sprinting off again.(edited)
  71. Sesquame-Last Tuesday at 11:53 PM
  72. You've made your way up to the rooftops, your hunger not sated but tempered. You begin scanning the horizon for your enemy when the sound of trumpeting horns rings out across the city.
  73. Every head turns as a pillar of green flame bursts towards the sky, bathing Nexus in eerie light
  74. Drums sound out to a marching beat, and the deafening sound of marching footsteps surrounds you.
  75. By the sound of it this phantom army should be already surrounding you, but you can't see anything but the ground vibrating at the relentless drumbeat of marching boots
  76. The trumpet ring out and the drumbeat rises, an unearthly chorus arising from every direction
  77. I bask in the glow of the rising war, lay waste to the ground of an enemy shore
  78. wade through the blood spilled on the floor, and if another one stands I’ll kill some more
  79. As the song thrums with the beat off the drumps, unearthly images of faceless soldiers appear through the alleys of the slums, marching relentlessly
  80.
  81.
  82. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:03 AM
  83. While you're distracted by the unearthly spectacle around you, a butcher's cleaver sails through the air, intent on removing your head!
  84. Below you, next to an irate butcher, is the Eclipse that's been hunting you
  85. You've recovered a good deal of your energy at this point, enough that you no longer need to run and hide like a coward
  86. The marching song rises in volume, drowing out all other noise in its drumbeat
  87. Come to the nightmare, come to me, deep down in the dark where the devil be
  88. in the maw with the jaws and the razor teeth,
  89. where the brimstone burns and the angel weeps
  90. The spectral chorus, like a half remembered dream at first, becomes gradually more real. Its volume echoing out as true and real soundwaves rather than within the minds of the listeners.
  91. As the song solidifies, so too do the soldiers, striking down any hapless fool standing in their way as they continue their war march
  92. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 12:10 AM
  93. As the forboding music rises, Harvester glares down at her relentless foe.
  94. "Ya don't know when to quit don't ya?"
  95. Her rage rises as her muscles swell
  96. "LET'S GET THIS OVER WITH!"
  97. Cupping her hands together around her Axe, Harvester smashes down against the building and collpses the entire structure! In the huge mass of debris and smoke that results, she will attempt to run down her foe!
  98. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:13 AM
  99. Goods fly everywhere as stalls are smashed in Harvester's rampage, their vendors scattering like rats. You can't seem to find your opponent though in the wreckage, when you sense a hint of movement behind you.
  100. You whirl on the spot and just barely manage to block the blow aimed at taking your head. She's no mere fragile woman. You may have taken down a pair of her kind before, but the difference of being on-guard is massive. Far more massive a difference than you had ever thought possible. This isn't the same fight as the foundry where you could exploit your opponent leaving themself open to a deadly counter-strike.
  101. Or is it?
  102. You shove her back with the force of her parry, and she steps back- Right into the marching army of faceless phantom-soldiers
  103. "I am a Warrior and I'm marching on!
  104. I am a Warrior and this is my song!"
  105. With a great bellow, their song echos throughout the city, as their bodies finally are fully realized. The song giving them purpose and life
  106. They attempt to strike down the obstruction in their way, but the lady leaps over their heads, dancing across their swords
  107. Wat do?
  108.
  109. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 12:26 AM
  110. Harvester grips her axe tight with both hands as she glares out at the soldiers surroudning her.
  111. "Guess this was the kind of heat Walker was trying to warn me about. Well, ah guess ah've turned into a regular hothead."
  112. She raises her axe up high!
  113. "COME AND GET SOME!"
  114. Harvester slams her axe to the ground and unleashes a bloody firestorm upon the land, riding the resulting mass of Earth and Flame up into the air above the army as flaming lave and bursts of fire fall upon the army surrounding her!
  115.
  116. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:36 AM
  117. The unearthly soldier are marching in all directions originating form the pillar of Chaos flame
  118. The ones for whom your maelstrom of fire is in their path simply march to their deaths in the flame
  119. The human defenders of the city do not march mindlessly into the fire
  120.
  121. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:40 AM
  122. As the street and its buildings are consumed in bonfire, the thunder of sprinting soldiers can barely be heard over the all encompassing drumbeat. Human soldiers charge in from the north, intent on repelling the invasion of Fair Folk marching from the pillar of unearthly green flame burning on the east side of the city, radiating chaos energy for miles around.
  123. The clear sound of a herald's trumpet cries out, cutting through the marching beat, not deigning to lower itself at the roar of its lessers, confident in its sovereignity.
  124. Riding forth on a chariot pulled by fishlike horses, with mermaid tails and webbed manes, is an inhumanly beautiful being
  125. Pinkish-purple in skin and bedecked in dazzling armor, loaded down with all manner of weapons and holding a bow of elegantly carved pearl, a Raksha joins the battle(edited)
  126. Singing out, her war song is not lost to the chorus, nor does it overpower it
  127. The din of battle, the marching of boots, the drumbeat, the chorus of the soldier's song all subordinate themselves as backup singers to her battle aria

  129.
  130.
  131. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:46 AM
  132. I feed on the fear of the devil inside of the enemy faces in my sights
  133.
  134. She draws her bow, not bothering to nock an arrow
  135.
  136. Aim with the hand. Shoot with the mind
  137.
  138. She lets loose her empty bow, unconcerned at her apparent madness
  139.
  140. Kill with a heart like arctic ice(edited)
  141. With her final line the mercenary leader of the human defenders falls over dead on the spot
  142. a look of fear and horror frozen on his face in his final moment
  143. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 12:49 AM
  144. Harvester stares down at the ensuing chaos atop her fiery volcano as she scans the horizon
  145. "Ain't that the damndest!"
  146. From her vantage point of relative safety, she takes a moment to consider her options
  147. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:50 AM
  148. "Hey! You! What the fuck are you doing here? This is my big show! Get your fucking volcano out of here!"(edited)
  149. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 12:55 AM
  150. "Eh?"
  151. Harvester blinks as the army led by this strange girl approaches her volcano
  152. Slowly, a small smile forms on her lips
  153. "Sorry ma'm, didn't mean to interrupt yer show. In fact, I was enjoying it quite a bit."
  154. Harvester stands tall and removes her hat as she gives a light bow to this strange chorus leader
  155. "I'll dim the lights here in just a moment, but I thought I'd inquire...."
  156. Her smile glistens as she looks back up at the girl
  157. "... couldn't help but notice that you were conquering this here city. I happen to be damn good at fighting, and I can raise up an army of my own if ya gave me the chance. Can I offer muh services?"
  158. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 12:58 AM
  159. Looking your hideous form over imperiously, and sneering at the death anima cloaking you, she considers your offer.
  160. "Hmm.... I'd be okay with working together if you kept your ugly mug out of sight. But keep your zombie apocalypse out of my Crusade, it's a one-note song. And don't even think of killing that Solar sneaking up behind you. She's mine."(edited)
  161. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:02 AM
  162. "ALL YOURS!"
  163. Harvester leaps up from the volcano towards a rooftop!
  164. "Ya'll can call me the Harvester of Fiery Vengeance, or just Harvester fer short!"
  165. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 1:02 AM
  166. As you leap you can feel a scrape across your flesh as you just barely avoid being stabbed in the back
  167. You piruoette around on the rooftop to see the enraged face of the Solar, now outnumbered and standing on decidedly unfriendly terrain
  168. Seeing her fortunes take a turn, she leaps backwards through the air, away from the two of you, just barely avoiding being burned to a crisp by the upwelling of flame(edited)
  169. She ducks into the next street and disappears from view
  170. [Give chase y/n?]
  171. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:07 AM
  172. [N]
  173. Harvester would like to get her hands on that Solar, sure. However, she's got a lot more important things to do at the moment. Business before Pleasure.
  174. "She's a slippery one she is. Good luck catching her."
  175. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 1:09 AM
  176. "Catch her? I mean I guess I could, don't know why I'd bother though. I'd much rather have her burst into my throne room for our Final Battle. Do you know her name? I should probably find a little dog or aunt of hers to kidnap and eat so she can get nice and delectably angry."(edited)
  177. As you speak the battle rages on, the mortal defenders of the city fighting well, as they are well practiced at repelling fair folk invasions
  178. But they are losing ground inch by inch
  179. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:11 AM
  180. "Afraid ah already killed the only two friends ah knew she had. Solars are simple though, kill a few innocents and ah'm sure that'll get her panties in a twist."
  181. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 1:14 AM
  182. She seems strangely disappointed at the news, as if she were a small child unwrapping a holiday gift to find an empty box.
  183. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:15 AM
  184. "Ah shucks, ah'm sure she'll be back! Don't you worry none!"
  185. "Now..."
  186. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 1:15 AM
  187. "Oh well, I'm sure it'll all work out on its own. I'm gonna go ahead and conquer the city now if you don't mind, you just drop me a word if you catch wind of any more Exalts showing up, k? I got the fighting part from here"(edited)
  188. She turns back to the battle, raising her voice in song. The mortal defenders sink to their knees clutching their bleeding ears
  189.
  190. "FEEL THE WAVE OF SOUND, AS IT CRASHES DOWN
  191.
  192. YOU CANT TURN AWAY
  193.
  194. I'LL MAKE YOU WANNA STAY!"
  195. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:18 AM
  196. "No problem, think ah'll go raise a ruckus in downtown. Ought'a divert a bit of attention away from ya'll, make it easier to divide and conquer ya know?"
  197. Sesquame-Last Wednesday at 1:19 AM
  198. "sounds good!" she flashes you a smile that strike to your very core, the very sight the strongest drug you could possibly think of.
  199. You never tried anything in your short life of farm work of course, but you'd heard stories, and this blew all the descriptions out of the water
  200. A girl could get physically addicted to that smile in no time at all
  201.
  202. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:21 AM
  203. "WHOA, now that's a smile worth going to war for..."
  204. Harvester turns her attention away immediately, trying not to get distratcted as she bobs her head to the tune and walks away.
  205. BBSA-Last Wednesday at 1:30 AM
  206. Harvester takes the two biggest carts she can find, hefts them both up in each hand, tosses as many dead human soldiers on each as possible THEN goes Downtown and opens a second front
  207. And after they get situated with murder and bloodshed, it's straight to the Guild's HQ
