  1. how can you adjust the brightness to lower levels. I have run the autobrightness script but still i can't adjust the brightness to lower levels. I also made rc.local executable and still i can't adjust it. I am running 16.04 with 4.13.1 kernel and autobrightness and the ability to lower brightness doesn't work. I am using a t100taf.

  5. I've loaded the generic ubuntu kernel 4.13.1 on to the T100CHI. Brightness control works there. I don't know what could be wrong on the T100TAF. If anyone knows a work around, please share.

  7. Auto brightness wouldn't work because unpatched kernels don't support the light sensor (T100 kernels do.)

  11. If the problem regards T100TA(F) the issue is probably with wrong module load order (I have this problem). Fix is to change kernel or fix the module load order somehow - I'm working on it.
