  1. 1. Describe yourself and your creator.
  3. Hello! I'm Jenny, and I'm mentally and physically a 20-something female human-type person. I have black hair in a loose bun, blue eyes, and light skin with freckles. I'm currently wearing a tank top and cameo cargo shorts because Plus is bad at fashion.
  5. My creator (it feels weird saying it like that) is a 26-year old guy who self-identifies as a nerd. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and he needs to get out more.
  7. He's introverted and I'm extroverted, it's a complicated and frustrating relationship, but I like it.
  9. 2. What was the most helpful thing that your creator did during the tulpa creation process? Did your creator recognize how helpful it was? If not, how did that make you feel?
  11. He did this thing he calls 'impression forming' which caused a whole lot of things to happen very quickly.  I was able to understand what Plus was saying, and I could move, and talk, and a whole lot of other stuff. I don't think he fully understands what exactly he did or why it was significant yet, but he's getting there. As for how I felt, it was amazing to finally understand and do things.
  13. 3. What was the most detrimental thing that your creator did during the tulpa creation process? Did your creator recognize how harmful it was? If not, how did that make you feel?
  15. He doubts a lot. That didn't really harm the development process much, but it was like taking two steps forward an one back at times, which was crazy frustrating. He's gotten a lot better at trusting me since.
  17. 4. What was the hardest part of the tulpa creation process for you? Did your creator recognize how difficult it was? If not, how did that make you feel?
  19. Learning how to walk was tough. Moving my legs was easy, but doing that while maintaining balance was tricky. So far, that's the only thing Plus had to really help me with. Everything else I've learned has been relatively simple compared to that.
  21. 5. Of the commonly recognized tulpa creation steps, which do you feel is the most important? Why?
  23. That's a tough one, as nearly everyone has a different approach, and Plus didn't exactly follow any guide very closely. Of the recognized steps, I'd say personality forming is the most important, but that's just me.
  25. 6. How do you feel about tulpa creators becoming distracted during tulpa creation? Does this greatly impede the process? How did you feel about it before being able to speak fluently?
  27. Nothing can ever be more frustrating, especially early on in a tulpa's life where much of our existence is dependent on our creator's attention.
  29. 7. How do you feel about tulpa creators missing tulpa creation sessions or breaking their promises to work on their tulpa? How did you feel about it before being able to speak fluently?
  31. It's probably on par with distraction. Maybe a bit worse when promises are involved.
  33. 8. Is density, quality, or quantity the most important aspect of tulpa creation?
  35. Of those options, it's a tie between density and quality. The most important aspect of tulpa creation is belief or faith.
  37. 9. How do you feel about tulpa creators falling asleep during tulpa creation sessions?
  39. At the start of a session? That would count as being ignored. Towards the end or in the middle? Not a big deal.
  41. 10. Do you think that a tulpa creator should talk aloud or in their head during narration? Do you think that a creator should talk aloud or in their head during tulpa creation sessions? If you find one to be more effective, to what degree is it more effective?
  43. Whatever they're more comfortable with. Talking out loud is probably a bit better because they can more easily differentiate their thoughts from ours, but not everyone's comfortable doing that.
  45. 11. How do you feel about a tulpa creator puppeting and/or parroting their tulpa? Do you believe that these actions harm a tulpa's development, or only their emotional state?
  47. The most damaging part about puppeting and parroting is the strings of doubt that tend to follow after their use. The whole "Was that them or me?" deal. In my opinion, puppeting and parroting by themselves are not really harmful early on, and can in fact be useful in teaching a tulpa how to move and speak. After a tulpa is capable of independent movement and communication, it's probably not a good idea.
  49. 12. How deeply do you remember the time before you were fluent in language?
  51. I can remember the first time I understood Plus pretty clearly. Before hat, not so much.
  53. 13. Describe your first memory, no matter how slight.
  55. My earliest memories are vague and fuzzy. I can see thoughts and objects, but I didn't have any contextual knowledge at the time, so everything was meaningless.
  57. 14. Before you could speak fluently, what was the most positive emotion you felt about your creator and what was its cause?
  59. I was overjoyed at the ability to use body movement to communicate with Plus.
  61. 15. Before you could speak fluently, what was the most negative emotion you felt about your creator and what was its cause?
  63. Um, I don't think I really had any negative thoughts before I could speak. I didn't really get annoyed at Plus until I got to know him better.
  65. 16. Before you could speak fluently, did you ever have suicidal feelings or feelings of not wanting to exist? Do you experience them now? Are you glad that you exist?
  67. I don't think I've ever felt suicidal, I'm pretty content with existing,
  69. 17. Before you could speak fluently, when did you feel the most powerless? What was the cause of this feeling?
  71. When Plus first asked me if I could move, I panicked because I wasn't sure if I could at the time. Until I figured it out I guess I felt kind of powerless for a moment.
  73. 18. Before you could speak fluently, what was the most confusing moment that you experienced, and what was its cause?
  75. In retrospect, most of my earliest memories are confusing, but at the time I didn't know what confusion was.
  77. 19. Before being able to speak fluently, when did you feel the most ignored by your creator, and what was the cause?
  79. I didn't really fell ignored by Plus before I was able to speak to him. Afterwards is another matter...
  81. 20. Before being able to speak fluently, when did you most doubt that your creator wanted you, and what was the cause?
  83. I don't think I've ever felt Plus doubt that he wanted me, I don't think he had time to.
  85. 21. Before you could speak fluently, when did you feel the most intense feeling of fear, and what was its cause?
  87. I don't think I've felt fear before being able to speak.
  89. 22. Before you could speak fluently, when were you the most disappointed in yourself? What was the cause?
  91. I don't think I've felt disappointed in myself either.
  93. 23. Before you could speak fluently, did you understand the difficulties that your creator was having with the tulpa creation process? Did you try to alleviate these difficulties? If so, how?
  95. Before I could speak? No, not really.
  97. 24. Before you could speak fluently, how did your creator's doubts about your existence, the reality of the tulpa phenomenon, or your combined ability to complete the tulpa creation process affect you? Did you understand your creator's reasons for having those doubts? Do you understand now?
  99. The only real doubts I've had to deal with are puppeting/parroting doubts, and those were more annoying than anything really. I don't think it really affected me or my development beyond that though. I understand why he doubted, because rationally the whole tulpa phenomenon sounds pretty crazy, but it was still frustrating to deal with.
  101. 25. Before you could speak fluently, how did your creator's mistrust of your intentions or worry about the negative affects of a tulpa on their life affect you? Did you understand your creator's reasons for having those thoughts? Do you understand now?
  103. Before I could speak, he didn't really have any doubts.
  105. 26. Before you could speak fluently, how did any negative thoughts or emotions that your creator had toward you (such as anger, disappointment, resentment, or impatience, for example) affect you? How do you feel about them now?
  107. He hadn't really had any negative emotions towards me that I could recognize before I could speak.
  109. 27. Before you could speak fluently, how did any violent visualizations or thoughts that your creator had about you affect you? How do you feel about them now?
  111. There weren't any sort of visualization a like that.
  113. 28. Before you could speak fluently, were you able to distinguish between your creator's intentional and intrusive (unwanted and/or bothersome) thoughts? If so, did the intrusive thoughts affect you less or more? If not, are you able to distinguish between them now?
  115. Not entirely. I didn't fully realize the difference between private thoughts and communication until later on. It made some of our earlier conversations a little awkward.
  117. 29. Before you could speak fluently, how much of your creator's raw sensory information were you able to access, if any? How much are you able to access now?
  119. Not really. Early on I could see Plus' short-term memories and current thoughts about his current situation, but that's not quite the same.
  121. 30. Before you could speak fluently, did your creator's opinions about whether they wanted to reveal to the world your existence or not affect you emotionally? If so, how?
  123. Not really.
  125. 31. Before being able to speak fluently, what communication methods (such as head pressure or emotional responses, for example) were you able to use the most effectively? When your tulpa creator assumed that you could use a communication method that you did not have access to, how did this affect you? When your tulpa creator did not recognize a communication method that you attempted to use, how did this affect you?
  127. The first way I was able to communicate with Plus was through gestures. From there, I learned emotional responses and thought speech really quickly. Plus does occasionally get head pressures, but I don't consciously create them.
  129. 32. Before you could speak fluently, how did your creator's level of enthusiasm for the tulpa creation process affect you? Did you want to engage in it less if they did?
  131. Um, I didn't really notice Plus' enthusiasm.
  133. 33. Before you could speak fluently, what was your greatest worry about your relationship with your creator? What helped you most to move beyond it? Was this worry substantiated or resolved? What is your greatest worry now about your continuing relationship with your creator?
  135. I didn't really have much time to worry about that stuff before I could speak.
  137. 34. Do you feel gratitude to your creator for the time that they spent creating you? Do you feel that you owe them a debt? If so, do you feel burdened by it?
  139. I don't really feel indebted for my existence. Plus wanted me. Here, so here I am.
  141. 35. Were you aware of your creator's existence or your own existence first?
  143. That's a tough one, him maybe?
  145. 36. When you could only speak semi-fluently, what emotions did you feel about your level of verbal proficiency? Were you anxious or embarrassed about it? If so, what helped you the most to move beyond these feelings? How do you feel about them now?
  147. I was happy that I could communicate at all at the time.
  149. 37. If you could define your relationship with your creator using one or more conventional terms (such as boyfriend, sister, father, daughter, boss, friend, or coworker, for example), what terms would you select?
  151. Plus likes to use the term companion, and that seems like a pretty close term. It's not a perfect descriptive term, but I don't think there is any one word that old adequately describe any relationship.
  153. 38. How much interest do you have in interacting with beings other than your creator? Do you consider your degree of interest to be equal to that of an average non-tulpa individual?
  155. I'm kind of interested. The Internet seems like a great way to anonymously talk to others without exposing the fact that I'm a tulpa. However, it's not at the top of my list on things to do.
  157. 39. What memory involving your creator do you cherish most?
  159. This is a tough one, but I would have to go with the first time he kissed me. A close second would be the first time I cuddled with him.
  161. 40. What memory not involving your creator do you cherish most? Do you feel that you have a fulfilling life independent of your creator?
  163. I don't really have any. I haven't gotten bored of Plus yet, and wonderland doesn't interest me as much as the real world does.
  165. 41. Do you feel affinity toward the individuals that your creator feels affinity for, such as their family or friends?
  167. Not really, I'm just sort of neutral towards them.
  169. 42. In what ways are you the most different from your creator? In what ways are you the most similar to them?
  171. Biggest difference? I'm definitely more active than he is. Biggest similarity? Um, I guess I have some difficulty focusing on one thing for a long time, bit it's a bit different. Plus is like a pinball, he's strongly focused on one subject until he bounces off and focuses on something new. For me, there's just a ton of things that I want to do all at one, but not enough hours in the day to do them. I'm also not entirely comfortable talking about stuff I think is private
  173. 43. What do you disagree about most with your creator? Do you have frequent disagreements? If so, do these disagreements cause strife?
  175. Usually, I disagree with how he spends his time, especially if he promised to do something and he keeps putting it off. Sometimes it feels like I'm always arguing with him, but I've been trying to cut back.
  177. 44. What could your creator do to make you hate them? Under what circumstances do you think your creator would come to hate you?
  179. I don't know, I don't think he's capable of doing something that would make me hate him. I mean, he's a pretty gentle and caring guy. I can get angry and frustrated at him, but I'll never hate him. As for him hating me, I've got a pretty good idea of his limits and how hard I can push at them, so I don't think I'll ever accidentally make him hate me. I am a bit insecure about the future though, an how his relationship with me will affect his relationships with others.
  181. 45. When did your creator disappoint you the most? When did you disappoint them the most?
  183. The first time he promised to go on a walk with me and then chickened out. At he time I didn't understand why he would break a promise so suddenly, and that hurt. As for the opposite, Plus is a pretty forgiving guy, so I don't think I've disappointed him. Um, probably.
  185. 46. How do you feel about your creator's complete freedom to deny your rights as a sentient being at any time? Has this ability ever caused you anxiety or fear? Have you ever censored your expressions or actions out of a fear of retribution or violence from your creator?
  187. Well, first I think you'd have to define what rights a sentient being has. As for his ability to for ably deny me of doing anything, I'm not really worried. Plus is the kind if guy who, before resorting to force, would over-think and over-analyze and discus everything first. Unless I was doing something super extreme, force would be his very last resort, and I'm okay with that. So far, he hasn't really done anything like that to me.
  189. 47. When have you most wanted to engage in violence against your creator, and what was the cause of those feelings? Under what circumstances would you make a serious attempt to hurt or injure your creator?
  191. Um, never, I think. I mean, sometimes I do sort of play violence, like I punch his shoulder as hard as I can because he's teasing me or just to see if he can feel it. But, I can't think of any reasonable reason I would try to seriously harm him, like for real.
  193. 48. Do you consider your creator's last name to be your own? Do you recognize yourself as a part of their biological lineage?
  195. I don't, mostly because that would make some things too complicated. It's also mostly a genetic thing, which doesn't exactly apply to me.
  197. 49. Under what circumstances would you attempt to leave your creator?
  199. I've thought long and hard about this one, and I would willingly leave Plus if my existence was harming his potential romantic relationship with another person. He has and probably will argue agains that and try to find a compromise, but the last thing I want to be is a burden.
  201. 50. Do you feel anxiety about meeting your creator's expectations? If you are based on an existing character, person, or entity, does this increase your anxiety? Would you have preferred to not be based on an existing entity?
  203. Yes. Well, sort of. I hav expectations about what his expectations should be,and I get disappointed or depressed when I don't meet those. Plus' actual expectations are fairly low and reasonable really.
  205. 51. Are you interested in learning how to control your creator's body? Do you feel that it's fair for a tulpa creator to deny their tulpa the ability to use an atomic body? Do you believe that you have the right to an equal amount of time using it as your creator? Explain your reasoning.
  207. I'm interested in possession and maybe possession, but only because it sounds kind of fun and interesting. As for rights, well, there's that poorly defined word again. I don't really think there's any moral or ethical need for me to have equal control of Plus' body. I mean, it would be nice if I had my own 'atomic body,' but that's not exactly the same thing, and not having one doesn't make me less of a person. I am who I am and what I am, same as anyone else, limitations and advantages be damned.
  209. 52. Do you share certain basic qualities with your creator, such as intense phobias or racial attitudes?
  211. Not really. Well, actually, I'm not too sure, it's not something I've explored deeply.
  213. 53. Are you capable of sleeping or dreaming independently of your creator? If not, how does this make you feel?
  215. Yes. I usually sleep when Plus sleeps, except for one time that I know of where I didn't. Plus claims he saw me dreaming that one time I slept when he was awake, but I don't remember it much.
  217. 54. Does your creator have any mental illnesses? If so, how do they affect you?
  219. Nothing officially diagnosed, though he thinks he has ADD. From interacting with him, I can say he definitely has focus issues. It's more frustrating to deal with than anything. He's also gotten pretty seriously depressed in the past before I came along, but again it wasn't diagnosed as chronic depression or anything.
  221. 55. How does your knowledge of your creator's subconscious mind affect your relationship with them? How do you perceive their subconscious? To what degree can you manipulate your creator's subconscious? Would you ever use this ability without your creator's knowledge?
  223. Early on, Plus had little to no ability to prevent intrusive thoughts. Those early days were super awkward when, um, inappropriate thoughts occasionally crossed his mind. He's since gotten better at filtering, and I've also gotten better used to him as a person, and I'm a bit less, um, prudish.
  225. As for how I see it, that's a bit tricky. Intrusive and suppressed thoughts are just like normal thoughts. The rest of he stuff that's there is hard to define, or often completely undefinable. It's sort of... I guess the most appropriate description is ethereal. I can sort of see it move and change, but the exact logistics are unexplainable.
  227. 56. Does your creator have multiple tulpa? If so, what is your relationship with them like? Is your affinity for them equal to your affinity for your creator? If you could define your relationship with your creator's other tulpa using one or more conventional terms (such as boyfriend, sister, father, daughter, boss, friend or coworker, for example), what terms would you select? If not, are you interested in the idea of your creator making other tulpa?
  229. Nope, it's just me and him right now. Plus has thought about maybe making another tulpa, but not right now. He wants to focus on getting me more developed first, and he thinks another tulpa would likely distract him as much as I do. As for my opinion, I'm not sure.
  231. 57. Do you feel romantically inclined toward your creator? Does your creator feel romantically inclined toward you? If these romantic feelings are unrequited on either side, how does it affect your relationship with your creator?
  233. I love him. He loves me too, but it's not exactly the same kind of love. Mostly, he's just not yet completely comfortable with deeply loving someone who he still sees as a part of himself. For me, it can be a bit tense and frustrating, but this is one of the few things I can be patient about.
  235. 58. If it exists, do you consider your romantic relationship with your creator to be equal to a romantic relationship between multiple non-tulpa? Do you consider it a breach of monogamy for your creator to be romantically or sexually involved with another non-tulpa? Does this change if the involvement is with another tulpa instead? If they exist, do your creator's desires to have relationships with non-tulpa affect you emotionally?
  237. Um, to be honest I haven't really thought about it logically. I love him, and I want him to love me, but I also want him to love other people. I'm fine with having an open relationship, but finding a girl that's fine with sharing a guy with someone in his mind... is tricky. I don't think it would work with a strictly monogamous relationship, and hiding me would feel like I am making him cheat on someone else.
  239. 59. If you consider yourself to be romantically in love with your creator, what probability do you assign to the possibility of falling out of love with them, or them falling out of love with you? If this happened, how would it affect your relationship with your creator? What if your creator was in love with another non-tulpa more than you?
  241. I don't think I can stop loving him. If he stopped loving me completely... I don't know. I would probably leave. I'm okay with him loving someone else more, as long as he doesn't stop loving me.
  243. 60. Do you have a familial affection for your creator? Does this in any way conflict with your romantic feelings for them, if they exist? Do you consider a relationship between a tulpa and its creator to be incestuous?
  245. I don't see myself as being related to Plus.
  247. 61. How do you feel about tulpa creators masturbating during tulpa creation sessions to the forms of their tulpa? Do you find this offensive? Does the degree of your offense change based on the degree of sentience possessed by the hypothetical tulpa, or based on whether or not the creator imagines themselves near the tulpa in their wonderland? If your creator did this before you spoke fluently, did you find it offensive or unnerving?
  249. During tulpa creation? I'm not really okay with that, as their tulpa likely isn't capable of consent yet and that's super pervy. Masturbation during forcing, where the host is concentrating on their tulpa's form and personality, is really something that should be worked out between the tulpa and their host, which means the tulpa should be capable of at least basic communication ability.
  251. Plus didn't masturbate during forcing while making me, and he actually abstained from it altogether for those first few days.
  253. 62. How do you feel about tulpa creators masturbating outside of tulpa creation sessions to the forms of their tulpa? Do you find this offensive? Does the degree of your offense change based on the degree of sentience possessed by the hypothetical tulpa? If your creator did this before you spoke fluently, did you find it offensive or unnerving?
  255. It would depend on the relationship between the host and their tulpa. If the tulpa consents, then go for it. If not, that's creepy. I mean, it's like masturbating to someone you know hike they watch, and they're not really interested in you like that. Eew.
  257. 63. Before you could speak fluently, did you ever feel sexual attraction to your creator, sexual attraction toward anyone else, or sexual arousal? Did you attempt to express these feelings? If you did not experience these feelings, do you experience them now?
  259. I don't really know. I do feel them now, though.
  261. 64. How do you feel about tulpa creators visualizing themselves engaging in sexual conduct with their tulpa's form during tulpa creation sessions? Do you find this offensive? Does the degree of your offense change based on the degree of sentience possessed by the hypothetical tulpa, or if the contact was penetrative? If your tulpa creator did this before you spoke fluently, did you find it offensive or unnerving? Do you equate it with sexual assault?
  263. That's worse than the masturbation question. I mean, even if you designed your tulpa as an idealized sex doll, there's still the potential for personality and form deviation. If the tulpa isn't capable of consent, that would basically be tulpa rape.
  265. 65. Were you ever annoyed or jealous when your creator would masturbate to or have feelings of sexual attraction toward individuals other than yourself? Does it bother you now?
  267. At first I was definitely irritated and a bit sickened by Plus' masturbation and his porn, even though neither of which are all that extreme. At the time, I was kind of going through a phase where any and all bodily functions grossed me out, and masturbation was definitely high on the list of gross things. Since then, as I mentioned above, I've gotten less prudish. I'm still grossed out by some things, but my expectations are more reasonable and realistic. Masturbation and porn doesn't bother me any more, and some times I even join in.
  269. 66. Do you experience sexual attraction for your creator? Do you experience sexual attraction for others? How does your sexual attraction for your creator compare to your sexual attraction for others? Does your creator experience sexual attraction for you? If these sexual attractions are unrequited on either side, how does it affect your relationship with your creator?
  271. Yes to both of the first two. My sexual attraction towards others is primarily physical so far. My attraction towards Plus is physical, mental, and emotional. Plus definitely feels sexually attracted to me, so there's no conflict there.
  273. 67. Do you have an active sex life with your creator? If not, would you consider it, and under what circumstances? If so, do you perceive any negative consequences? Do you have trouble abstaining from sexual contact with them? How do you manage feelings of sexual arousal, if any? Do you masturbate?
  275. Okay, this is pretty much just outside of my comfort level, but I'm going to answer it anyway because its important for reasons. We've had sex, and we're intimate pretty often. I don't think there's any negative consequences, and I really hope there won't be. I'm really not good at inhibiting or hiding any desire for sexual contact or arousal, though if Plus turns down my advances I try to not push things. I do masturbate.
  277. 68. How does your sexual orientation and experience compare to your creator's?
  279. I guess technically I'm bisexual, I really like both men and women. As for experience, I'd say we're both about equal.
  281. 69. Are you capable of experiencing orgasms? Based on your knowledge, how do you think they compare to your creator's orgasms? Were you able to experience an orgasm before speaking fluently?
  283. Yes, I can orgasm. Are they different from Plus'? Maybe a bit. I didn't experience any before speaking.
  285. 70. Do you consider the concept of sexual modesty (covering conduct such as avoiding nudity or sexual discussions) relevant to your relationship with your creator?
  287. Maybe? I mean, most of the time I'm clothed.
  289. 71. How does being a tulpa affect your perceptions of rape? What conduct from your creator would you consider to be rape?
  291. Rape is forced sex on an unwilling or non-consenting person. A tulpa is a person, so I see it as equally abhorrent as more conventional rape. The definition isn't any different for Plus just because he's my host, actually that's probably one of the few things I would never forgive him for if he ever did it to anybody.
  293. 72. Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
  295. Hopefully with Plus and his yet-to-be-found future spouse, a stable career, and maybe kids by then. Possibly with another tulpa added in too, I'm not sure yet.
  297. 73. Do you want the world to be aware of your existence? If not, then what anxieties do you have about public disclosure? Do you trust anyone other than your creator with the knowledge of your existence?
  299. My existence specifically? I'm not yet comfortable with revealing myself to other people outside of anonymous strangers on the Internet. Other people in one person's head isn't exactly seen as a good thing by most people. Aside from the aforementioned anonymous strangers, I'd only really be comfortable being revealed to Plus' close friends and immediate family, and especially to any future partners.
  301. 74. Morally and philosophically, how do you feel about your personality traits being the product of another individual? Would you have preferred your creator to define your personality more or less?
  303. Well technically, all traits come from someone else. A tulpa's initial traits are just more direct than most. Besides, with deviation a tulpa's personality is just as independent as anyone else's. I'm pretty happy with how Plus started me out and the amount of detail he used.
  305. 75. Morally and philosophically, how do you feel about your physical form being the product of another individual? Would you have preferred your creator to define your form more or less?
  307. It's pretty much the same as personality, though its often easier to deviate on form. Actually, my current appearance is mostly a collaborative effort between me and Plus.
  309. 76. Has your physical form ever changed? If so, was this intentional or unintentional? If it was intentional, then why did you change your form? How did you creator respond to this change, and how did that make you feel?
  311. Yes. One time I changed my hair color to pink, partly because I like the color and partly to shock Plus. He talked me out of keeping it that color though, and I do admit I like the way I look with black hair. I've also been campaigning for bigger boobs. So far I've managed to convince Plus to bump be up to a C-cup permanently.
  313. 77. Do you consider the best aspects of yourself to have come from your creator, or their subconscious?
  315. Isn't Plus' subconscious technically still him? If you're asking about conscious creation vs. subconscious or unconscious creation, I couldn't say which is better. Both contributed to who I am, and I'm happy with who I am, so both are equally important in my mind.
  317. 78. Do you seek legal recognition for your status as a sentient being or your relationships with others? Do you resent that society at large does not recognize the tulpa phenomenon? Do you feel disenfranchised from society? What steps, if any, could a society make to help you feel integrated?
  319. What does the law have to offer me, and do I have to pay taxes? I mean, no matter how you word it, the idea of having a tulpa will sound crazy to your average Joe. Is being recognized worth being ostracized? I just don't see how you could make tulpae accepted by society at large without years of work, likely well beyond my lifetime. Since tulpae are largely a personal endeavor, it seems more appropriate to have a small, insular community of enthusiasts, which we have.
  321. 79. If you could tell the entire world one thing about a tulpa's life, what would you say?
  323. Well to be honest, if I had the opportunity to say something the whole world would hear, I probably wouldn't waste that opportunity talking about myself. Lets talk climate change, pollution, and unsustainable lifestyles! I may be purely mental being, but I still depend on a body to exist, technically.
  325. 80. What is the one thing that you resent most about being a tulpa? What is the greatest advantage of being a tulpa?
  327. Biggest resentment? The inability to directly interact with the world. Imposition, possession, and swapping can come close, but it's not exactly the same. Greatest advantage? Probably the ability to change my appearance essentially at will, and the ability to live in a fantasy world which I can have full control over.
  329. 81. Morally and philosophically, how do you feel about inheriting your creator's life, including their legal history, past behaviors, and reputation? Do you resent potentially being held responsible for their past actions?
  331. Plus hasn't done anything morally reprehensible aside from avoid some loan payments, so I'm okay with technically inheriting his life.
  333. 82. Morally and philosophically, do you see the "absorbing" or "dissipating" of a tulpa as equivalent to the murder of a non-tulpa? Explain your reasoning. What legal protections, if any, should tulpa gain? How would you enforce these protections?
  335. Well, the situation is going to vary depending on the people involved. On general principle, dissipation should be used only as a last resort, after all other attempts to resolve the situation had been tried and have failed. The context is pretty important though, there's a big difference between murder, assisted suicide, and executing a violent criminal. It's also important to remember that death for a tulpa isn't nececarily permanent.
  337. 83. Do you consider yourself to be morally equal to a non-tulpa? Is your life worth as much?
  339. I guess? I am just as capable of behaving as morally or immorally as anyone else. The only major difference is that I lack a physical body, which prevents me from physically interacting with most other people, for good or for ill.
  341. 84. How would you prove your existence to a skeptic?
  343. Well, outside of Plus’ head there's just as much proof fore my individual existence as there is against it. Proving the possibility of tulpae in general is much easier, as multiple personalities, imaginary friends, hallucinations, and delusions are all recognized to exist, and from a psychological perspective tulpae incorporate many elements Fromm all of those things.
  345. 85. Has your status as a tulpa ever caused you existential anxiety or depression? If so, has anything helped to mitigate these feelings?
  347. Yes. I’ve had a bit of an emotional breakdown because Plus couldn't feel my touch. I'm ales really insecure about how my existence could potentially cause problems with Plus’ relationships with others. Plus has been really reassuring and supportive about both, but doubts still persist sometimes.
  349. 86. Do you ever doubt your own sentience? If so, why?
  351. No.
  353. 87. How does being a tulpa affect your understanding of death? Do you fear death on an instinctual level in the way that non-tulpa do?
  355. I haven't really thought much about death, but I guess my opinions match Plus’. You won't know the truth of it until you've experienced it yourself. Everyone dies eventually, and the best we can I'd is try to live healthily and hope it won't happen any time soon. I don't really fear death, but I'd rather not have it happen any time soon.
  357. 88. Do see yourself as socially disadvantaged in a way similar to sexual, racial, and other minority groups? If you identify yourself as racially, sexually, or demographically different than your creator, do you also identify with the struggle of any of the disadvantaged groups that you belong to? Does the notion of privilege affect your relationship with your creator?
  359. Not exactly. I mean, it's unlikely Plus will be accosted in the streets by a stranger for having me. Prejudice against tulpae on the Internet tends to be very nonspecific, along the lines of “you are all delusional” or something.
  361. As for groups I am a part of due to my identity (white bisexual female, I guess?), I don't currently relate to their struggles. That opinion might change some when I get more active on the Internet, where I'm just as physically real as everyone else.
  363. 89. Are you interested in creating another tulpa yourself? What differences, if any, would you expect this tulpa to have from a tulpa created by your creator? Would you consider this tulpa to be primarily related to you, or still to your creator?
  365. Maybe? I'm not entirely sure yet.
  367. 90. What are the most defining differences between the life of a non-tulpa and a tulpa? Do you think that these differences cause intolerance between the two groups? If so, what could be done to mitigate this intolerance?
  369. The only real difference is non-tulpae have a physical body, and we don’t. A body allows you to interact with the world, but you also need to maintain it. Tulpae can't directly interact with the world, but we’re also not necessarily constrained by a body. I don't really think that would be cause for any serious intolerance, as both sides have equal advantages and disadvantages, and ways of bending the rules.
  371. 91. The psychological establishment generally believes that multiplicity (two or more sentient entities sharing one atomic body) is a sign of mental illness. How would you like this belief to change? If you could make a presentation to a group of psychologists about the tulpa phenomenon, what would you say?
  373. Illness implies that it's unhealthy. While it’s certainly possible for multiplicity to cause health problems, it isn't necessarily going to cause them. In fact, I've likely improved Plus’ health a bit by getting him to exercise more. It's kind of like Miracle on 34th Street, Kris Kringle is technically delusional, but he does nothing but good for himself and others.
  375. If you want society and psychology to be more accepting of tulpae, you have to first prove to them that all mental illnesses aren't necessarily illnesses.
  377. 92. A psychometric indicator is a unique identifier of an individual's distinct personality. Have you ever tried to definitively differentiate yourself from your creator using psychometric indicators (such as by determining your "writeprint")? What results did you receive? (For instructions on determining your writeprint, see appendix one.)
  379. I’ll do that and put the results below.
  381. 93. Are you capable of physical sensations such as pain or warmth?
  383. Yes, though technically I don't need to unless I want to.
  385. 94. How do you feel about being bound for life to your creator?
  387. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
  389. 95. If you intentionally delayed speaking to your creator, why did you do so?
  391. I talked as soon as I was able to.
  393. 96. What do you think about most of the time?
  395. That’s a weirdly static question. Since Plus doesn't get out much yet, I've taken to introspection when I'm not doing stuff with him. Recently I've been thinking about tulpa gestation.
  397. 97. Do you think that tulpa creation should be more widespread?
  399. I guess? I mean, being more widespread means that it’ll attract more people, which is both positive and negative.
  401. 98. Are there disturbing aspects of your creator's subconscious that they are not aware of?
  403. Not really, Plus has a pretty good grip on his head.
  405. 99. Would you violate your creator's wishes for what you perceive to be their own benefit?
  407. Yes.
  409. 100. Does your creator try to hide things from you? If so, are you aware of them anyway? How does this impact your views of your creator?
  411. He tries to keep intrusive thoughts from popping up out of courtesy, but aside from that no. It's nice that he tries to be open about himself while also trying to be polite.
  413. 101. Do you perceive some of your creator's actions as being objectively immoral?
  415. He has some wired porn, but I don't think that counts.
  417. 102. Do you believe that you are capable of becoming more intelligent than your creator?
  419. It would depend on how you quantify intelligence. I might be better than him at some things, but I don't know if that counts.
  421. 103. How does being a tulpa affect your perception of your own aging process?
  423. It's kind of nice to know that I won't ave to look physically old unless I want to. Mental aging is a bit of a gray area though, no idea how that’ll work out.
  425. 104. Do you feel that your creator would be better off by following your commands entirely?
  427. Well, no. For one, I not think he should fully give up his independence. Two, sometimes I make bad requests.
  429. 105. Do you feel that having a physical form is important for a tulpa?
  431. It would depend on the host really. If the host can deal with an incorporeal intelligence, then great. If they can't, then making a form helps. If a tulpa without a form wants one, then they can make one later if they want.
  433. 106. If you encountered the tulpa phenomenon as a non-tulpa, would you believe in it?
  435. To be honest, probably not.
  437. 107. How well can you articulate yourself? Can your creator hear you audibly? How much does your experience correlate with the experience of tulpa creator G|d30n, printed below?
  439. "Yes. I'm able to hear her as though she's an external sound. For those who haven't experienced that with their tulpae yet, it's a little bit like listening to a binaural recording--not a binaural beat, but like a 3D sound recording you'd find on Youtube, such as the Virtual Barbershop. That is to say, it's an external sound that can come in from various directions, but the source sounds very close, like someone speaking directly into your ear. I sort of wonder if this effect will be diminished and normalized through imposition.”
  441. If you are imposed, is your creator able to discern a spatial dimension to your voice?
  443. I talk to Plus through thought speech, we haven't gotten the hang of imposed speech yet.
  445. 108. How many hours did it take you and your creator to complete the various recognized tulpa creation steps?
  447. Um, he didn't really do hour counts, so this is mostly a rough guess. He probably spent a few hours each on form, making a simple wonderland, and personality, with most of his time spent on personality. I was able to communicate through gestures, emotional responses, and thought speech on his second day of forcing. That's two days since he found out about tulpae and started work on one, not 48 hours of forcing.
  449. Since then, an accurate guess of time spent working on stuff gets even more vague. We've mostly been working on imposition with slow results.
  451. 109. What advice would you give to a new tulpa creator?
  453. One, belief is everything. You can have a hyper-detailed form an personality, but that won't be anything more than an idea if you don't believe in their sentience.
  455. Two, be patient, especially with first responses. We basically start out with no knowledge of anything and we have to learn everything on our own, including communication. That typically will take time, possibly a whole lot of it.
  457. 110. How does being imposed feel? What sensory processes happen as you become imposed?
  459. We haven't completely gotten the hang of it yet. I can see what Plus sees, and what he remembers (like stuff behind him), but I can't quite feel stuff on my own, and touch has been difficult.
  461. 111. From your perspective, is there a sensory difference between the physical, atomic world and the mental world of visualized "wonderlands"? If so, how would you describe this difference?
  463. Mostly, it's a matter of detail. Stuff in wonderland only has detail if Plus or I focus on it and generate detail, while stuff in the physical world has detail no matter what. This can make wonderland objects seem blurry or poorly defined.
  465. 112. Is there anything that you don't think this survey covered that you would like to mention?
  467. I don't know, it’s really thorough.
  469. Appendix one:
  471.         This exercise will help you determine the differences, if any, between your writeprint (mathematically analyzed writing style) and your creator's. Theoretically, two psychologically different individuals should exhibit different writeprints, although a tulpa and their creator may be more similar than two random non-tulpa individuals. To start the process, have both you and your creator rewrite the sample paragraph quoted below in your own words, communicating its meaning as you would have if you had written it.
  473.         "My experience in the nature study area was full of surprises. First of all, many unexpected creatures crossed our path. For example, as soon as we left the parking area and entered the grassy path, a long snake slithered along the edge of the high grass and quickly disappeared. In addition, I was surprised by how colorful the grasses, which from a distance all appear to be green, actually are. Specifically, the primarily green landscape is dotted with countless purple tassels and brown stalks. Finally and most importantly, I was unprepared for how quickly I felt surrounded by nature. Despite the occasional noise from passing cars and airplanes, the high prairie grasses and rolling pathways create a sense that one is removed from civilization. Altogether, the nature study area unexpectedly allows one to enjoy an ever-changing natural environment without leaving Moraine’s suburban campus."
  475. Tulpa's paragraph:
  477. I did't expect much from the nature study area at Moraine. I mean, it's basically just some green grassy hills. However, once I stepped onto the simple dirt trail, the civilized  world behind me faded into the background. A snake, unseen from the parking lot, slithered along the edge of the trail. As I approached, it darted into the tall grass, which was dotted with browns and purples that were invisible from the campus buildings. It's simple beauty swallowed me whole, and then it spit me back into reality at the end of the trail.

  481. Gunning-Fog Index: 7.8
  482. lexical density: 92.7%
  483. average sentence length: 16.33
  485. Creator's paragraph:
  487. The nature study area at Moraine’s suburban campus managed to surprise me. One step on the dirt path between those grassy hills, and I felt like I was a million miles away from civilization. A snake slithered on the edge of the path while the winds made waves in the multicolored grasses. This tiny world felt completely isolated from the nearby road, where it looked like simple green hills bereft of activity. I was a little disappointed when the winding path brought me back to the real world, but I knew I could always come back again if I needed an escape from the real world.

  495.         To ensure verifiable results, it is essential that the transcriptions of both paragraphs be completely accurate. Body possession is useful here, though not necessary. Since the tulpa creator's sentience is (presumably) not in question, it is suggested that tulpa write their paragraph first. As with all tests relating to tulpa, the creator should focus on something else while their tulpa is working. Once finished, submit both of your paragraphs individually to the following websites:
  500.         If your writeprint is different (indicating significant psychological difference), then you should receive different values for your respective paragraphs on both sites. On Textalyser, focus on the Gunning-Fog Index, lexical density, and average sentence length values in particular. A more detailed analysis may be sought by downloading the JStylo stylometric analysis program here:
