oday, after many hours of making phone calls, we had a presentation from our trainer, Brett, who really made me think about who I am and where I fit.

The first part is inception, where everything is driven on emotion. It's the "Honeymoon Phase", where you didn't quite know how crazy that guy you just started dating was, or the crazy things people sometimes do for love. I'm a prime culprit of inception driven emotion, I've done many things I thought I'd never do. And I'm sure in my life that isn't going to change much.

The most interesting part is deception. Where finally, the scotoma (word of the day) has been depleted, you're no longer blind to what the truth is. There are six categories of deception, and as Brett explained these to us, I started to reflect on which categories I fit into.

1)Victim
This is self explanatory. Nothing is your fault, and you don't accept responsibility for anything you do.

2)Rut Dweller
You're a quitter. You live vicariously through other things. Drugs, alcohol, whatever your vice may be.

3)The Pretender
You wear a mask. Tries incessantly to avoid being exposed.

4)Fear-Seeker
You quit out of fear. You don't like the idea that something might be a challenge for you, so you just run from it.

5)Success-Seeker
You're relentless. You don't matter who you have to hurt in the process, because you've always got your eye on the prize.

6)Stressed-Achiever
You tear through obstacles like a monster truck. You bring everyone else to a stressed out state because you're going nuts for some reason.

After deception, comes transformation. Adapt and overcome. Your identity comes through and completes the cycle.
