Then me and Cong decided to play, Mouse had already started playing separately and joined the best server choice because he's not retarded.
I did a bunch of research and came to the same conclusion, that Mouse's server is obviously the best choice.

One of the primary reasons we decided to play is because it would be a lot of fun having us all play together.

Meanwhile, Calz realizes his and Reece's server is unplayable and decides to move servers.
Blizzard only gives you a choice of the 5 least populated servers in the game to move to though, so they moved to one of those... and so did a ton of other complete retards who didn't have the foresight to join the right server, leading to that server having one of the worst communities in the game.

So we approached Calz at this point, we had a long conversation and I laid out all the reasoning for why the server he was on was garbage and why ours is the best choice.
At this point he'd only just started playing and was level 16, so it wouldn't take much time at all to restart on our server.
Calz however did not want to abandon Reece who (as a total degenerate) was a high level already and didn't want to move.
Calz said he wanted to play with Reece.
So I explained to Calz that Reece wasn't going to play with him, the level disparity meant they couldn't play together, Reece wasn't going to help him out because he's an asshole and obviously he was never going to catch Reece up.

Despite all of this, Calz didn't move and then went on to bring Andy onto that shitty server too.
Everything I said came to pass and Reece never plays with them.

Now you could say this is all Reece's fault, but Reece was always going to be retarded, blame is just wasted on him frankly.
I approached Calz with an undeniable argument and Calz made the wrong decision.

But my response is that this isn't just about playing together.
I don't believe that Blizzard will ever allow you to realm transfer freely, so if we were to play on Bloodfang we'd probably be stuck there permanently.

Server population is not my primary concern (btw when it says full that doesn't mean there is a queue, the system they use is kinda dumb).

My concern is that Bloodfang is now the official rebound server for all the retards like Reece who initially picked the wrong server, this has so many consequences that are invisible without the perspective of having played on another realm and without having reached the point in the game where you have to interact with others much.
That's obviously the reason for the economy being weird on Bloodfang.
Most of the games other servers have an organic economy, i.e. the scarcity of items and thus their value is a result of actual on-server activity.
The market is a reflection of what places are popular and what items are needed, this ensures that item prices are in tune to how difficult it is to obtain said items on that server.

With Bloodfang that's not the case for 2 reasons:
1. People migrating over items and gold from other servers.
2. People are not starting on that server from low levels, which means the items they need at lower levels have artificially less value than they should.

Not to mention people bringing over gold too, this has a pretty major longterm impact on inflation and shit.
And that's just the economy.
People bringing over higher leveled chars from other servers also affects the distribution of activity in the games areas, the level distribution of other players for PVP, the faction balance, etc.
Also, this is a more esoteric point but frankly I want to play on Zandalar because the people who choose to play there are, on average, going to be better people than those on Bloodfang, because playing on Zandalar basically means you looked at the servers and made a logically optimal choice and playing on Bloodfang means you made a stupid choice that you then regretted.

As I said, I don't believe that they're going to allow you to switch servers ever and whilst I understand everyone's argument that they don't want to start again, at the end of the day...
We started talking about the idea of playing WoW on September 22nd.
