  5. Appearance:
  6. a set of decorative steel and gold full plate
  7. Dropped:
  8. A pile of gold and steel plate armour rests here in a heap.
  9. Examined:
  10. From the high, multi-piece gorget down to the sabatons for the wearer's
  11. feet, this full plate armour shows an attention to detail commensurate
  12. with the skill required to craft such a piece. The two-piece cuirass and
  13. the individual lamellae of the articulated abdominal section and
  14. attached tassets are edged with gold trim, a bright contrast to the
  15. polished steel surfaces. The breastplate has been lightly etched with a
  16. geometric design comprising numerous spirals and curves, so subtle that
  17. it only shows in certain angles of light. The vambraces covering the
  18. wearer's forearms are crafted from gold-plated steel, intricately
  19. embossed and punched with a repeating design all the way around it, and
  20. taper to a outwardly curved point before the chain-protected elbow. The
  21. upper arms and shoulders are protected by a hinged assembly that
  22. attaches to the breastplate via interlocking steel rings, both
  23. protecting the vulnerable armpit and shoulder joints as well as keeping
  24. the armour secure. The armour's legs are constructed similarly to the
  25. arms, the thigh cuisses terminating at the knee in a gold rimmed disc at
  26. the front and chain at the rear, while the greaves are gold-plated steel
  27. with a similar embossed design to the vambraces, again curved to a point
  28. in front of the knees. In the centre of the right pauldron, a small
  29. hawthorn flower design has been etched and inlaid with gold, detailed
  30. right down to the individual stamen in the centre.
