  4.
  5. 1. Dead By Daylight Killers Are Going to be Afraid of You with These Builds Equipped
  6. There’s a ton of survivor perks for players to choose from in Dead by Daylight.
  7. Sometimes it can be pretty tough to decide which ones to choose or which ones to put together. You might love Sprint Burst and Head-On but seeing as they’re both exhaustion perks the likelihood that you’ll be able to get use out of both of them isn’t very high. You’ve got to go through a lot of planning to find the perfect survivor build in Dead By Daylight.
  8.
  9. We’ve put together a few great survivor builds to get you started if you just have no idea which abilities you want to use. This list contains Dead By Daylight survivor builds for quiet, aggressive, helpful survivors and more. If you’re stuck on what to do, this list could possibly save your life. See you in the fog!
  10.
  11. 2. Silent Survivor
  12. Iron Will (Jake Park Perk) – All grunts of pain caused by injuries are reduced by 50/75/100%.
  13. Calm Spirit (Jake Park Perk) – Reduces chances of alerting crows by 80/90/100%.
  14. Urban Evasion (Nea Karlsson Perk) – Your movement speed while crouching is increased by 90/95/100%.
  15. Quick and Quiet (Meg Thomas Perk) – The vault and hide actions’ noise detection and audio range is reduced by 100%. This effect can only be triggered once every 30/25/20 seconds.
  16.
  17. How to Use This Build: This Dead By Daylight survivor build is like a good fart – quiet, but deadly. Each perk will be utilised to stay hidden from the killer or, if you’re found, you’ll be able to get away smoothly. Like a ninja, the silent survivor uses perks like Iron Will and Calm Spirit to stay quiet as well as keep those pesky birds from giving away your position while Urban Evasion and Quick and Quiet allows for a fast getaway.
  18.
  19. 3. The Ultimate Healer
  20. Empathy (Claudette Morel Perk) – Dying or injured allied auras are revealed to you within 64/96/128 meters of range.
  21. Self-Care (Claudette Morel Perk) – Unlocks the ability to heal yourself without a med-kit. Increases the efficiency of med-kit self-heal by 10/15/20%.
  22. Botany Knowledge (Claudette Morel Perk) – Healing speed and efficiency of healing items is increased by 10/20/30%.
  23. Autodidact (Adam Francis Perk) – You start the trial with -25% progression penalty for skill checks to heal survivors. For every successful skill check completed while healing a survivor, you receive a token for a maximum of 3/4/5 tokens. Each token grants you +15% bonus progression for a successful skill check while healing survivors. Great skill checks cannot be performed while using Autodidact. Autodidact is not active when using a med-kit to heal.
  24.
  25. How to Use This Build: This survivor build is fantastic for keeping yourself and your fellow survivors healed up. Self-care will let you heal yourself whenever you’re injured without having to use a med-kit to do so. Botany Knowledge and Autodidact will make you heal faster, and Empathy will make it so that you can see your friends so you can run in for those quick saves. It’s a great Dead By Daylight build for those that want to try and get everyone out alive.
  26.
  27. 4. Come to Me if You Want to Loot
  28. Plunderer’s Instinct (General Survivor Perk) – The auras of chests are revealed to you when standing within in a 16/24/32 metre range. Grants a considerably greater chance of at finding an item of higher rarity in chests.
  29. Ace in the Hole (Ace Visconti Perk) – When retrieving an item from a chest there is a 100% chance that an add-on of very rare rarity or lower will be attached to it. 10/25/50% chance to find a second add-on of uncommon rarity or lower.
  30. Up the Ante (Ace Visconti Perk) – For each other survivor still alive, grant a 1/2/3% bonus to luck to all remaining survivors.
  31. Pharmacy (Quentin Smith Perk) – Searches through chests are 40/60/80% faster and the noises they cause along with their hearing distances are reduced by 8 meters. Pharmacy guarantees an emergency med-kit on your first completed chest search.
  32.
  33. How To Use This Build: Players might like to use this Dead By Daylight survivor build if they’ve got an itchin’ for some sweet, sweet loot. Plunderer’s Instinct and Ace in the Hole will make it so that you know for sure the item you’re getting is going to be kick-ass. Up the Ante will give you a little extra luck and Pharmacy simply guarantees an awesome med-kit. Pharmacy can be swapped out for Self-Heal if you don’t want to bother with a med-kit.
  34.
  35. 5 (Not) Hooked On You
  36. Deliverance (Adam Francis Perk) – You have a 100% chance of unhooking yourself during an escape attempt. A successful deliverance escape triggers the broken status effect for 100/80/60 seconds.
  37. We’ll Make It (General Perk)– For each survivor you rescue from a hook, gain additional speed to healing up to a maximum of 100% for 30/60/90 seconds.
  38. Borrowed Time (General Perk) – Once per match, for 15 seconds after unhooked a survivor within the killer’s terror radius, any damage taken that would put the unhooked survivor into the dying state will instead trigger a 15/20/25 seconds bleed-out timer. Taking any damage during or reaching the end of the bleed-out timer will put that survivor into the dying state.
  39. Breakdown (Jeff Johansen Perk) – Any time you are removed from a hook, the hook breaks and the killer’s aura is shows to you for 4/5/6 seconds.
  40.
  41. How to Use This Build: Those pesky killer hooks always getting you down? This Dead By Daylight survivor build is for those players that just can’t seem to stay off the hook or want to help their fellow survivors out with staying off the hook or recovering from being hooked very quickly. Borrowed Time and We’ll Make It are great perks for helping out your fellow survivors. We’ll Make It lets you heal fellow survivors super quick when they’ve been unhooked and Borrowed Time gives them a second chance at life after the unhook. Breakdown and Deliverance are more to your benefit as Deliverance gives you a chance to hop right off the hook and breakdown makes it so that you break any hook that you’ve been hooked on previously.
  42.
  43. 6. I’m in it to Win It
  44. Sprint Burst (Meg Thomas Perk) – When starting to run, break into a sprint at 150% your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds. Causes the exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
  45. Adrenaline (Meg Thomas Perk) – Instantly heal one health state and sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for 5 seconds when the exit gates are powered.
  46. Unbreakable (Bill Overbeck or General Perk) – Grants the ability to fully recover from the dying state once per trial. Increases the dying state recovery speed by 25/30/35%.
  47. Self-Care (Claudette Morel Perk) – Unlocks the ability to heal yourself without a med-kit. Increases the efficiency of med-kit self-heal by 10/15/20%.
  48.
  49. How to Use This Build: This Dead By Daylight survivor build is for players that are playing to win, not playing for the fun of it. These perks basically make you an unstoppable machine if you use them right. Sprint Burst allows you get a quick get away. Unbreakable makes it so that you can get yourself back up if the killer decides to leave you on the ground rather than hook you. And then of course there’s Self-Care to keep yourself healed up and Adrenaline as the last clutch perk at the end of the game.
  50.
  51. 7. Rushing Those Gens
  52. Resilience (General Perk) – Grants 3/6/9% additional speed when repairing, sabotaging, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing, opening exit gates and searching chests while injured.
  53. This is Not Happening (General Perk) – Great skill check success zones when repairing, healing and sabotaging get 10/20/30% bigger when you are injured.
  54. Prove Thyself (Dwight Fairfield Perk) – Increases the repair speed by 10% for each other survivor working on a generator within a range of 4 meters. Gain 50/75/100% more blood points for cooperation actions.
  55. Streetwise (Nea Karlsson Perk) – Reduce the consumption rate of item charges by 15/20/25% for you and allies within an 8 meter range.
  56.
  57. How to Use This Build: For those survivors that focus on generators as much as they can during the game, this build is for them. Resilience and This is Not Happening requires you to be injured so you could pair this build up with No Mither if you wanted to, but I instinctively hate No Mither so I wouldn’t recommend it. Prove Thyself will make skill checks a little easier and increase your points where streetwise makes it so you won’t use your items too fast so if you bring in a hard core awesome toolbox, you’ll be getting the most out of it.
  58.
  59. 8. Hands off!
  60. Dead Hard (David King Perk) – When injured, tap into your adrenaline band and dash forward quickly to avoid damage. During the dash you avoid damage.
  61. Decisive Strike (Laurie Strode Perk) – After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Decisive Strike will become active and usable for 40/50/60 seconds. While it is active, when grabbed by the killer, succeed a skill check to automatically escape the killer’s grasp and stun the killer for 5 seconds.
  62. Mettle of Man (Ash Williams Perk) – After you earn 3 protection hit score events, Mettle of Man activates. Once activated, the next occasion that would put you into the dying state from the injured state is ignored. The next time you heal back to full health, your aura will be reveled to the killer when you are farther than 12/14/16 meters from the killer.
  63. Diversion (Adam Francis Perk) – Standing within the killer’s terror radius while not in a chase for 45 seconds activates the perk. Once the perk is activated press the active ability button while crouched and motionless to throw a pebble, which creates a loud noise notification form the killer at a distance of 10/15/20 meters.
  64.
  65. How to Use This Build: This “Hands Off” build is for Dead By Daylight survivors that like to be a little slippery and make the killer really waste their time chasing you around. To start you’ve got Dead Hard, which will make the killer’s swing miss you once allowing you to live a little longer. Mettle of Man gives you another second chance to get away as well. Diversion can potentially give survivors the chance to distract the killer and force them to go in the opposite direction of them. And finally Decisive Strike is the last line of defence to stab the killer, stun them and get away after they’ve grabbed you off the ground. Use this survivor build if you really don’t want the killer touching you. No touchy!
  66.
  67. 9 Now You See Me, Now You Don’t
  68. Urban Evasion (Nea Karlsson) – Your movement speed while crouching is increased by 90/95/100%
  69. Iron Will (Jake Park Perk) – All grunts of pain cause my injuries are reduced by 50/75/100%
  70. Calm Spirit (Jake Park Perk) – Reduces chances of alerting crows by 80/90/100%.
  71. Distortion (Jeff Johansen Perk) – Start the trail with 3 tokens. When your aura would be shows to the killer, the perk activates and a token is consumed. For the next 6/8/10 seconds while the perk is activated your aura and scratch marks will not be shows to the killer.
  72.
  73. How to Use This Build: This Dead By Daylight survivor build is similar to the “silent survivor build” but where that build focuses on staying hidden and getting away quickly, this one is all about not being found for the entire game. Urban evasion will let you crouch around the map quickly. Iron Will and Calm Spirit will make it so that you stay very quiet while you’re doing this. And Distortion makes it so that the killer isn’t able to see your aura for (hopefully) most of the game. This is for those survivors that just don’t want to be found at all!
  74.
  75. 10 Team Work Makes the Dream Work
  76. Bond (Dwight Fairfield Perk) – Allies’ auras are revealed to you when they are within 20/28/36 metres of range.
  77. We’ll Make It (General Perk) – For each survivor you rescue form a hook gain an additonal speed increase to healing up others for 30/60/90 seconds.
  78. Borrowed Time (Bill Overbeck or General Perk) – Once per match, for 15 seconds after unhooked a survivor within the killer’s terror radius, any damage taken that would put the unhooked survivor into the dying state will instead trigger a 15/20/25 seconds bleed-out timer. Taking any damage during or reaching the end of the bleed-out timer will put that survivor into the dying state.
  79. Leader (Dwight Fairfield Perk) – Increases the other survivors healing, sabotage, unhooking, cleansing, opening exit games and searching chest speeds by 15/20/25% when they are within 8 meters of range form you.
  80.
  81. How to Use This Build: If you’re the kind of Dead by Daylight survivor that loves to help your friends, then this is the perfect build for you. There’s nothing here that you can utilise for yourself. It is purely selfless. Bond helps you to find your fellow survivors all around the map. We’ll Make It and Borrowed Time help your friends after they’ve been hooked so that you can give them another chance or heal them up really quickly from an injured state. And Leader makes it so that all of the things that you’re doing to help your team are being performed faster than everyone else.
