Thank you for coming back to me. W.r.t   CS vs ENG 04. They both have similar rate of the pay, and we cannot start you at the high end of the salary wage envelop. For both ENG 04 and CS 03 the expectation is to have minimum four-five  years’ work experience.  Majority of the Engineering in training even with Master degree and military experience ( at Captain level, I have one joining  my team in Sept.) start at ENG 02 level after one year work to ENG 03 and then ENG 04 level. The same is true for CS category. I have already been challenged by HR with respect to offering you CS 03 ( that is he reason, I am asking you expand on your CV).

Presently, I have three CV with more than 7 years of experience , which are interested to come across and join my team from shared service Canada with full Pen testing ability  as CS 03.
For CS 04/ENG 05 , you need not only  more than 5 years of experience but also need supervisory experience and language ( BBB) . If you look at the classification regulation of each position, there are points associated with each level, that one cannot bypass, no matter what priority category we pull. As we speak, I have two  CS 03 position. One of which is being offered to a Major with Compute r and science degree with more than 17 years’ experience in C4ISR and EW at five eyes , NATO and US level. I would be very much interested to see CS 04 in public service with no work experience or supervisory experience !

What I am trying to say, is that having degree is good but work experience in the relevant field  is very important in what we can offer you.

I have been constantly challenged by HR on every aspects of the process and I have to make sure, I do not cross the line.

So, please  think about your decision and let me know your decision at earliest since I have every intention to fill in my positions at earliest so that we can get to work.
But a word of caution, once you make your decision, I do not want you to look back and second guess yourself. I need full commitment from your side to my project.
