- Inside the bag there was a glow.
- –Two eyes.
- “I see,” Alba thought as he nodded.
- He saw this bag earlier and had thought to himself it looked similar to something. It was really
- simple. Why hadn’t he noticed it sooner?
- The cube was too large to be called a bag. Didn’t it look exactly like the box that contains demons
- straight from mythology?
- Thus, an unknown black creature materialized from the box, black thorny tentacles reached out and
- grabbed Cornelius Alba.
- The creature pulled him straight into the box, starting from his feet he was chewed upwards by
- thousands of small mouths. There were crunching sounds as he was being eaten alive. Just before he
- was annihilated, when everything below his neck was gone, he made eye contact with the Puppeteer
- who was looking down at him with a detached gaze.
- As I die this horrific death she’s watching me, her eyes filling with ridicule.
- That alone made him regret that there was no way he could have competed with her.
- He recalled his last exchange of words with Araya. Araya must have anticipated this is what would
- happen to Cornelius Alba.
- As the last fragments of brain were being chewed.
- ... I failed.
