  10. General Rules
  11.  
  12. Use common sense (Good sense and sound judgement.). This should be fun, not stressful.
  13. You may KOS (Kill on Sight) anyone on your property without prior warning or KOS sign. (The word property refers only to the area within your base, stairs/ramp included.)
  14. Spamming of any kind is not allowed.
  15. Do not disconnect, suicide, change jobs, change names, etc. to get out of a roleplay/staff situation. This will result in a harsher or additional punishment.
  16. You must have a valid reason to demote a player. (Be sure they actually deserve it or you may we warned.)
  17. The Mayor’s laws must not conflict with server rules.
  18. You may not set up toll booths/checkpoints/walls/etc.
  19. Do not harass other players. Harassment is defined as a continuation of insults/actions against another player after they have asked you to stop.
  20. Failure to report discrepancies in the rules/loop-holing rules and using them for your benefit may result in a punishment.
  21. Do not steal someone's name.
  22. Do not use an inappropriate RP name.
  23. No offensive or inappropriate text signs.
  24. Do not annoy other players, this includes racism etc.
  25. Any threats or intent to harm other players in the community will result in a permanent ban.
  26. Do not ban evade by going on an alternate account.
  27. Cheating in anyway will result in a permanent ban from all our servers.
  28. Do not attempt to exploit or cause harm to the server.
  29. Staff are here to help. If there is no rule listed or its specifications, staff may tell you what is and isn't allowed.

  41. 1. RDM (Or Random Deathmatch) means killing another player without a proper roleplay reason. Proper roleplay reasons include but are not limited to: Having a hit on another player, countering an illegalactivity, another player doing damage to you or your party member, raiding, mugging, etc. ARDM (OrAttempted RDM) is the act of damaging another player with malicious intention. ARDM is a punishable offense that carries the same weight as an RDM offense.

  51. Basing and Building:
  52.  
  53. 1. You may not use no-collided walk-in props or props where you can walk in and not receive damage.
  54. 2. You may not base on/cut off roads. You may not base in/cut off tunnels leading to other parts of the map. You may base in dead-end tunnels.
  55. 3. The maximum number of fading doors per base is three (3). The maximum number of keypads per base is six (6).
  56. 4. Keypads/buttons to a fading door must be clearly identifiable and visible next to the door it fades/controls.
  57. 5. Black out bases are not allowed. (Black out bases are defined as bases with no direction once entered. The entrance and exit must be clearly visible at all times.)
  58. 6. You may not have no collided props in front of fading doors or double/triple stacked fading doors. You must be able to individually keypad crack each fading door. You must also be able to individually lockpick each fading door.
  59. 7. Keypads must have a hold length of at least 5 seconds.
  60. 8. Crouch, jump, parkour, puzzle, or maze bases are not allowed. The entrance to a base and its overall layout must be absolutely clear and concise.
  61. 9. Who ever owns doors on the base first owns the entire base.
  62. 10. Hobos and DJ’s are the only class allowed to build on or around sidewalks/fountain area/in tunnels/on roads without blocking access to 11. property, entities, NPS, etc.
  63. 12. Building abnormally large structures/bases (staff may decide what refers to as “abnormally large”), RP-restricting structures/bases (i.e blocking roads, entities, NPCs, etc.) is not allowed and will result in them being removed.
  64. 13. Mega bases are not allowed. (Blocking off sections of maps as one base.) You may join two bases/buildings together as long as each individual base/building is raidable.
  65. 14. KOS signs may only advise players if they cross your KOS line, they are free to be killed on sight. (i.e. KOS signs may not include: loitering, talking, looking at base, shooting at base, being annoying, etc.)
  66. 15. You may not KOS on sidewalks. If someone is annoying you simply warn them to back away using the advert warn system.
  67. 16. You may not raid/harm a base that has a "Building" sign. You may not have a "Building" sign up with raidables inside your base. Your building sign may not stay up longer than thirty (30) minutes.
  68. 17. You may not have bases that allow you to shoot from any position where another player cannot shoot you (1 way shooting)

  77. Adverts and OOC (Out of Character):

  79. 1. Talking in Advert and OOC means the whole server can see what you say, this is why you must be careful how you use these forms of chat. You can advert an action by typing /ad in chat followed by your advert action word.
  80. 2. You must specifically advert what you are doing by including the action word within your advert. (i.e. I’m coming for you. (Raid), It’s my money and I want it now! (Kidnap) etc.)
  81. 3. You may not use universal adverts. (Universal adverts are defined as adverts which describe more than one action or proposal. (i.e., Raid/Raid Over/False, Raid/Mug/Kidnap/Counter, Raid/Raid Assist/Raid Over.)

  92. 1. Metagaming is defined as the use of information gained from sources outside of roleplay, such as OOC (Out of Character) chat, VOIP, or using information from your last life to affect one’s in-game decisions.

  126. Raiding:
  127.  
  128. 1. Raiding allows you to enter someone's base and kill whoever is in the property being raided. You may steal any of their items and keep them for yourself.
  129. 2. You must specify that you are raiding by including the action word “Raid” within your advert. You must wait fifteen (5) minutes in between raids, twenty (15) minutes for the same base unless job rules say otherwise.
  130. 3. If you are in a party/organization, the owner of the party/organization may include the action word “Party Raid”. (The action word “Party Raid” includes all members of a party/organization so that they do not have to individually advert. Once it is used, it includes the party/organization as a whole and they must all wait the raid countdown.)
  131. 4. Raids may not exceed ten (10) minutes. (Raid Timer)
  132. 5. After your raid has concluded (nothing is left to gain from continuing the raid), you must leave and advert the action word “Over”. You 6. may not linger around waiting for the raid timer to end.

  141. Kidnapping:

  143. 1. You must specify that you are kidnapping by placing the action word “Kidnap” within your advert. (i.e You are bound and gagged, follow me. (Kidnap))
  144. 2. You must specify what the person you are kidnapping is to do. (i.e You may not speak, you may not move, etc.) You may decide to kill/keep your hostage, but if you ask for a ransom and the ransom is provided, you must release the hostage.
  145. 3. Hostage ransom cannot exceed $50,000. Kidnapping time may not exceed five (5) minutes.
  146. 4. You may kidnap one (1) person per ten (10) minutes.
  147. 5. You must wait twenty (20) minutes before kidnapping the same person. You may only knock players out if you are kidnapping them. (No RDK/Random Knockout. Pulling any weapon out of inventory after being knocked out in the kidnapping, or killing yourself using console or a command is FailRP.

(No explosives, rifles, etc.)You may not own or store any valuables/raidables of any kind. (i.e. Printers, weed, bitminers, etc.)

  203. CP (Civil Protection) Jobs:

  205. 1. -CP includes all government jobs. (i.e. swat, police, etc.)You may only base in the PD with other CP members but it must be available to all other forms of government/CP.
  206. 2. You are not allowed to have illegal items, only Bitminers and weed (only if weed is made legal).
  207. 3. You are not allowed to KOS players for breaking the law, only AOS (Arrest On Sight). You may KOS players for breaking the law only if they damage you or other CP members. CP may raid bases only if they have a warrant for proper reasons and must advert with the actions words "CP Raid". CP must follow CP AOS/KOS rules when raiding. Proper warrant reasons include but are not limited to: Illegal items in base, trying to capture a fugitive, etc. Police raids may only last ten (10) minutes.
  208. 4. CP must wait ten (10) minutes in between raids and fifteen (15) before raiding the same base location.
  209. 5. You are not allowed to make Checkpoints or Toll areas. Any illegal items confiscated during a raid must be destroyed. Bitminers are not illegal and may be kept.
  210. 6. Illegal items include: Printers, Meth, and Weed. (Weed is default illegal unless the mayor makes a law saying otherwise. Small arms such as pistols and rifles are default legal unless the mayor makes a law saying otherwise.) CP may arrest anyone at anytime (even without a mayor) only if they see the person they are going to arrest conducting illegal activities. You may not arrest CP or the Mayor since this is FailRP.
  211. 7. Illegal activities include but are not limited to: Raiding, mugging, kidnapping, carrying/phys-gunning illegal items, conducting hits, etc. (Self defense is not illegal, but CP may ask you what happened.)
  212. 8. Jobs that do not spawn with the tazer may not use the tazer weapon. (If you are caught using it, you will be stripped and warned for RDT.) You may only taze people for breaking the law. (You may not taze other CP or the Mayor, as this is FailRP.)

  232. A SIT (Also known as a SITUATION) is an instance where a Staff member uses his skills to access a report on another player for potential rule breaking. You are expected to behave in a decent manner during SIT's so that the Staff member may do his/her job efficiently.

  238. 3. Do not spam in any way. The Staff member may ask you to cease communications or actions and if you do not, you may be muted, gagged, jailed, or frozen.
