Much like Dimitri i'm gonna put my heart on the line here and say this fic popped up during a very difficult night with my mental illness and it was like a comforting hug. You tap into the feeling of what it's like to live with schizoprenia or any other kind of hallucinatory mental illness very well and my heart bled for Dimitri but was also was very...soothed by seeing my own struggles treat sympathetically in a character that a lot of people reduce to jokes about hearing things or hallucinating.
