  2. I was in a hurry this morning, the television blared through my house as I scampered to get myself ready, but I did not work too hard at making it to my appointment on time, I knew I would not. The television was going on about DNA tests and children lacking father figures, but I knew that Greg was not the father, despite that particular episode being brand new I had seen it before. Well, to be honest I had seen it after, in two months, one week and twenty seven minutes later, this episode will play again and at that moment in time I will have been fired from the job I am currently rushing to, thus I will have sat through the entire episode as opposed to today when I miss the shocking conclusion.

  4. Currently, I am on my way to my job and only a mere eight minutes late. I will arrive sixteen minutes late and will be chewed out by my boss for another four minutes, essentially wasting time telling me about all the time I'm wasting. The reason for which I will be eight more minutes late is due to the chance encounter with a friend, a lover, and who I spend most of my life with, however she does not actually know this today, nor will she even remember bumping into me and dropping her load of papers on the sidewalk. I help her pick them up not because I wish to converse with her, nor because I feel it's the right thing to do, but because this moment in time is one of my favorites. A chance encounter with the love of my life years before we meet at a fundraiser for a cause we care nothing about. We'll enjoy one another's company while sipping over priced drinks and I'll make the comment about how they should put the money people are spending on liquor into the fundraiser's profits. She'll laugh and say I'm funny and I'll say I'm really not. Our words continue until that night when we drunkenly stumble into her bedroom and make love for the first time, while she is completely unaware that we have met at this very moment.
