- Four adopted brothers come to avenge their mother's death in what appears to be a random killing in a grocery store robbery. However, the boys' investigation of the death reveals more nefarious activities involving the one brother's business dealings with a notorious local hoodlum. Two cops who are trying to solve the case may also not be what they seem.
- When their adopted mother is gunned down in a store robbery the 'four brothers' investigated the murder for themselves & look for the killers but not all is what it seems.
- Summary : Okay you got Bobby Mercer(|Mark Wahlberg|dominate, kind of scary haha, sarcastic, the oldest) Then you got Angel Mercer(|Tyrese| you typical Pretty boy, sweet, is in a relationship with someone..etc)Then Jeremiah Mercer ( |Andre 3000| family man, a wife, 2 daughters i think! haha) and then you got Jack ( |Garret Heldlund| Rocker boy, youngest, trouble maker |) they all cant say out of trouble and are adopted by a women Evelyn. And one day she is murdered. Angry the four brothers do a little investigating to figure out what happened. Or :; kill the people who did this.<br/><br/>Bobby ( Mark Wahlberg)<br/><br/>I would have to say he is one of my favorite actors. I don't know when ever I watch a movie I completely forget that was him in Fear or ROCK STAR. you know. But this movie by far was his best. I think he did an amazing job! =) and well he is my crush of now ;) <3333<br/><br/>Angel (Tyrese)<br/><br/>Omg that man is fine! haha no okay he did a really amazing job. I haven't seen him in much. I have the most Conservative to me. And I don't think of him like that haha<br/><br/>Jack (Garrett Hedlund)<br/><br/>Okay, first of all. For being a new comer to the acting business. Garrett Hedlund is quite the little actor. One of the best in the films. Many people came up to me saying. "Did you see the little guy in Troy, or Friday Night lights" i would say no. "Well he is amazing and so cute" and now i can agree. HE is and i can see a big future for him! <br/><br/>My Feelings : <br/><br/>I only had two problems<br/><br/>1. They were so mean to jack and 2. Jack Died! =( i Mean seriously !!!! Best memory in the movie : okay well the moment where Bobby is wearing a little pink robe! that was amazing and when Bobby like cut the rope and crap <br/><br/>Bobby and Jack = the coolest guys ever!!!!!! x
- This movie was awful. It had no socially redeeming value. The plot was implausible and stupid. The violence was gratuitous. What happened to good guys? There were no good guys at all in this movie. Everyone in the movie had some serious moral failing. The brothers brutally murdered others and showed absolutely no remorse or met any consequences. I guess the movie is teaching that everyone can kill indiscriminately and get away with it. The director is reportedly recorded to have compared this to a Western. I don't think John Wayne, Roy Rogers or the great Ronald Reagan would consider this garbage comparable to any of the Westerns in which they starred. This movie was horrific and had taught only bad morals. Once again, liberal Hollywood has no clue as to what the heartland considers moral. Unfortunately, this movie was the number one box office movie this weekend and the theater where I viewed it was packed. I don't understand why anyone would find this tripe entertaining.
- Because the script, riddled with verbal ugliness by David Elliot and Paul Lovett, sends the movie to a series of arbitrary nowheres, the final showdown for the Mercer boys and their enemies is just as meaningless and sense-deadening.
