- COLD
Despite having a smile and laugh that can brighten up anyone’s day ( only if genuine ), RYUWON is depicted as distanced and cold. She has a resting face and glare that can kill anyone on the spot, and doesn’t like communicating with people whom she isn’t close with. RYUWON has a habit of ignoring those who attempt to get on her good side, and if you keep on pestering her, you’ll only get on her bad side.

- RUTHLESS
RYUWON never had any trouble killing their targets, as long as she knew that they deserved it. She lacks mercy and emotion when working, and wouldn’t even bother to spare you a glance if you were to get hurt. Of course, with the gang members it’s a completely different matter. But if she was working alongside people whom she considered no use to her, RYUWON wouldn’t care about what happens to them as long as the mission gets done.

- SENSITIVE
RYUWON is actually quite fragile, especially when it comes to her emotions. She’s scared of commitment, but fears being left alone. She gets hurt easily, but she hides it by distancing herself from others. RYUWON wants to convince those around her that she’s fine, but she’s really not. She’s emotionally unstable, and gets triggered by the feeling of being alone. That’s why she has to sleep in the same room as someone else, or else she’ll get a panic attack. On the nights when she’s let alone, she’d just lay in bed and list down all the reasons why people would leave her, and it usually leads to her bursting into tears and sobbing her heart out for the rest of the night. She may appear strong and serious, but at the end of the day RYUWON is just the same as she was many years ago: a scared, broken girl who just wants to be protected from all the evil that’s after her.

- PARANOID
RYUWON’s worst fear, second only to being left alone, is being found by her parents and being forced to go back to DARK ROOM. She has night terrors about it every night, and if it weren’t for the members to comfort her, she would’ve been sent to the asylum a long time ago. She sleeps with her dagger sheathed underneath her pillow, and always has a hand clutching it. TWILIGHT shares a room with her, because she’s the only one who would be awake when RYUWON wakes up from her night terrors, and the only one who is fast enough to disarm her when she unsheathes her dagger unconsciously. Even when awake, RYUWON is constantly glancing over her shoulder in public to make sure there isn’t anyone familiar from DARK ROOM following her.

- SERIOUS
When RYUWON has a job to do, she gets it done. She doesn’t like delays, and is the type to do her job within the time given. She’s also COMMITTED to her work, and loves the thrill of doing missions. RYUWON doesn’t appreciate humour during serious situations, so the members have learned not to crack a joke whenever they feel that RYUWON is a bit more serious than usual. How to know when RYUWON is being more serious than usual? The members can tell by the air in the room. RYUWON has a tendency to make others shiver with her cold aura whenever she’s serious about something.

- INVISIBLE
RYUWON never likes too much attention on her, which is why she prefers to blend in with the background. It isn’t really hard for her, because she’s quite stealthy and sneaking around is as easy as ABC. She has a talent of being seen only when she wants to, or really needs to. You’d RYUWON at one place for one minute, but when you turn back, she’s gone. RYUWON likes slipping away to someplace else without people knowing, and only those who have known her for a long time know where to find her.

- LONELY
Growing up in a harsh environment in place of her sister, who had abandoned her when she was only seven, and without her parents who were the real reasons why she was trained to kill, RYUWON tends to isolate herself from others and pushes away people who get too close. Even the members have a limit when it comes to her. She feels that she may cause them harm if they were too close, so she keeps herself away and prevents herself from having too much contact with those she treasures.

- AWKWARD
RYUWON isn’t used to displaying affection, in words or actions. She doesn’t really have a sense of humour either, and the members have said that she’s a bit too tense and serious. She takes everything literally, which isn’t really a good thing, and the members always have to explain to her what they really mean. Whenever RYUWON tries to say something funny, the room just turns cold.  She isn’t used to showing affection or humour, and the members would prefer that she’d just stay her normal self because it makes them uncomfortable when she doesn’t.

- LOVING
It’s surprising, really, that RYUWON has a loving side. It only shows to her members, whom she considers her only family. She has odd ways of showing affection, but the members have gotten used to it and even like it. She does her best to protect them and keep them from harm. RYUWON knows that they are capable of taking care of themselves, so she doesn’t really worry much about them when they’re on missions. But if they were to get hurt by someone and anyone, RYUWON wouldn’t hesitate to unleash hell on them.


background ; RYU JIWON was brought into the cold and harsh world in YEOUIDO, SOUTH KOREA on 12 OCTOBER 1996, to the RYU family, which managed a training facility for assassins. She was the youngest child, with an older sister named RYU JIEUN. JIWON was forced to take her sister’s place in the training facility as one of their assassins-in-training when JIEUN escaped their home to pursue a violence-free life. JIWON thought that it was JIEUN’S fault that she was being shaped into a monster, but always had hope that her sister would come back for her and help her escape from the living hell where she was meant to train. In the training facility, named DARK ROOM, JIWON trained and studied to be an assassin. During the training, JIWON learned how to take advantage of her small frame to move through small cracks and holes between walls easily. She was best in terms of stealth, which would later come in handy when she joined BLACK SPADES. She trained in DARK ROOM for seven years, before she was sent to KYOTO to continue training in martial arts, and also carried out a handful of assassinations for DARK ROOM in KYOTO. She stayed there for two years, until she was found by the BLACK SPADES. After hearing about what they do, JIWON got DARK ROOM’s permission to officially leave and join BLACK SPADES. When she was finally free from her parents’ clutches, JIWON decided to live under the alias SHIN RYUWON, so that they would no longer find her. She moved to SHANGHAI, CHINA, just before her sixteenth birthday. RYUWON then decided that she would no longer be part of any assassination missions and instead decided to put her stealth into good use, thus earning her the title ‘stealth master’.

RYUWON felt that all her training would go to waste if she didn’t join the gang, and she didn’t want to continue killing innocent people for DARK ROOM. She joined the mafia because she wanted to fight for a good cause and only kill those who deserved it. RYUWON also had a small piece of hope that she would find JIEUN while working in the mafia, as she had received news that her sister was alive and working as a dance instructor somewhere in CHINA.

         the team ? why or why not ?
RYUWON never even thought of betraying the team. They were the closest thing she had to family, and treasured them deeply even if she didn’t show it. She would snap if something would ever happen to them, and if she was the cause, RYUWON would never forgive herself.

Yes, of course. RYUWON would do anything to keep her teammates safe, even if it meant losing her own life. She doesn’t want to lose another important person in her life, which is why she puts her teammates well-being before hers.

RYUWON never had any problem with relationships. Besides her teammates, there’s no one else she really loves. Her team was her family, and she’s assured that they can take care of themselves. But falling in love with someone and being in a romantic relationship scares RYUWON. She’s afraid she’ll bring danger to them, which is why she tries not to stay attached to anyone besides her team.
