  3. Sasaukage Sasuke was a very patient man, as it happened; he stood idly with his eyes closed, his hand still on the hilt of his sword, until Raiz revealed himself once more. When his eyes opened, he found the man in a different outfit from before--and was that a glint of metal on his fingers? Setting the thought aside for the moment, he bowed in return, listening intently. "Is that so? This should be interesting, then..." His feet slid apart slightly--and then he dashed forward as a black blur. He didn't lead with his sword, however; rather, he leaped up at the last moment, and threw his momentum into his left foot, extending it up towards the butler's face. It was a fairly straightforward move, but he wanted to see what his opponent could do, after all.
  4.
  5. Raiz A hand would raise to block the path of Sasuke's foot. If the foot connected with Raiz's opened palm, he would find himself coming directly in contact with A strange, flexible metal that allowed his hands to move freely. His ring finger would press against the bottom of Sasuke's foot, leaving a sliver of the razor wire to latch onto the bottom of his foot, Raiz's flow of magic enabling the wire to stick to the surface of his footwear. If everything progressed in this manner Raiz would simply remain rooted in place to wait for his opponent's next action. If Sasuke had some way to avoid the hand, his action would change depending on the change of strategy.
  6.
  7. Sasaukage His sandal-clad foot was caught firmly by Raiz's hand; the Uchiha didn't immediately pull back from that grasp, unintentionally letting the razor wire attach to his foot. His guess was right, his mismatched eyes had immediately noticed; the man's hands were covered in metal, flexible gauntlets of some kind, it seemed. He could work that to his advantage--and tried. Chidori Nagashi! With a zapping sound like a thousand chirping birds, Sasuke coated his body in crackling blue lightning--time to find out if those gauntlets were a good electrical conductor..barring that, perhaps it'd still travel along the razor wire (albeit unknowingly), to wherever it's stored on the butler's person.
  8.
  9. Raiz Oh boy. Raiz was certainly in for a surprise on this one. Electricity immediately surged through the razor wire and into the gauntlets. With a snap of motion, Raiz would quickly launch another wire into the ground with the same hand in order to ground himself from the electrical charge. Granted he still took quite a zap before doing so. The wire hooked to Sasuke's shoe would twist as if alive, aiming to coil itself around his ankle as Raiz flung his other hand outward, sending two wires each to opposing sides of Sasuke's frame to effectively pin him in place. If all of this was successful, he would say something to Sasuke. "Impressive."
  10.
  11. Sasaukage The wire wrapped around his ankle even as Sasuke finally tore his foot away from the man's grasp; he grunted as it bit into the leather of his sandal around his ankle, and before he knew it, two more wires were wrapping his sides, pinning his right arm in place beneath his cloak. It'd become immediately apparent that Sasuke was missing his left arm, as the razor wire wrapped around just beneath the stump, making it protrude visibly. His hair had fallen away from his face, revealing the Rinnegan in his left eye, with its purplish color, and concentric circles adorned with six tomoe. "You're kind for saying so," he replied calmly. "You're quite adept with these wires..." His right eye glimmered, and turned red, with three tomoe around the pupil--and his left eye started to bleed. Amaterasu! Black fire burst into life along all three wires, and quickly spread, devouring the metal to free the Uchiha...and racing towards the source, provided they hadn't been detached.
  12.
  13. Raiz A final command would be sent through the wires as Raiz took note of the black flames. Sasuke would be quite surprised to see that the wire in question did not seem to melt or burn as one might expect. The final command to the wires used was to fling towards Sasuke and coil around him as the burning black flames attempted to sear away at the enchanted metals of the wire. Unless something existed that prevented Sasuke from being burnt by his own flames (I can't remember if there is or not), he would be in for the nastiest of surprises (Six of eight wires used.) Eyes narrowed as he finally took note of Sasuke's unique eyes. "Those appear to be quite troublesome..." He weighed his options on how to handle things. Two wires for two eyes. Believing that nonsense should be bypassed, the remaining two wires would snap out from the last two digits with the aim to stop mere centimeters from Sasuke's eyes. If all continued as expected, he would grant Sasuke a chance. "Do you wish to surrender?"
  14.
  15. Sasaukage The black flames of Amaterasu could quickly vaporize common steel--but to the Uchiha's surprise, this was not the case with these wires, as he quickly discovered. His right eye shifted again, into his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan--and he used his right eye's power to extinguish the flames. If not for the Sharingan's heightened perception and reaction times, those other two wires might have gotten close--instead, another eye power was used, this time from his Rinnegan. Shinra Tensei! A gravitational wave briefly expanded from his body, which then released a powerful shockwave through the air, digging into the ground at the shinobi's feet--which would hopefully repel the wires away from him, and enable the shinobi to put some distance between them--either by sending Raiz flying, or providing enough of a distraction for Sasuke to leap back a couple dozen meters or so. If everything went according to plan, Sasuke would give a hint of a smile. "Those wires are interesting. What are they made of?" he'd ask, his mismatched eyes locked on the man.
  16.
  17. Raiz Raiz had no means of countering the Shinra Tensei as he was. The invisible force would shove him back quite hard, leaving him to flip, twist, and land on all fours for a quick rise to his feet. Unless the Shinra Tensei worked on the wires coiled around Sasuke's frame, he would find himself still bound by Raiz's trap. "Enchanted Soulsteel," was a simple answer. Even if Sasuke knew the name of the metal, it was unlikely he could come up with a counter for something not of his world. Not that Raiz had been correct on that assumption before. Eyes would drift to the two stray wires, the lines retracting back into their respective fingers. Without wasting another word where action could be taken, Raiz's body began to morph, his body expanding in shape to fill in the slacked space of his clothing. His skin would darken to a pure black, eyes glowing a vibrant shade of red as two horn-like protrusions emerged from his forehead. An unstable aura of red energy shrouded his frame as soon as the transformation finished, the very Earth beneath his feet trying to decide if it wanted to shift or splinter from the aura's strange pressure. If left uninterrupted, Raiz's transformation into his Chaos Form would create an entirely different atmosphere than what he previously gave.
  18.
  19. Sasaukage Released from the wires, and with Raiz sent flying, Sasuke leaped back another few meters, just to be sure. He recognized a transformation when he saw one, however--and this in particular reminded him of wielders of Orochimaru's Cursed Seals, who often took on a demonic look. The power output was superior to that, however, as the landmass beneath their feet seemed to quake; desiring to test himself, he did nothing to stop the transformation, and only lowered into a ready, defensive crouch, his one hand held out before him, three shuriken held between his fingers. He flicked his wrist, and the three blades seemed to spin and hang in the air in front of him, as he quickly lifted two fingers. Shuriken: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! The shuriken multiplied into more than a dozen, but they still seemed to hover in place for an instant--until he breathed fire, wreathing each throwing star in flame, and propelling them forward rapidly towards the now-demonic butler. Katon: Hosenka no jutsu!
  20.
  21. Raiz (Oh so true.)\
  22. A single wire would be used, a series of snakes and coils as he manipulated the mass to catch each Shurikin by the ring before twisting and and snapping in a way that would send each Shurikin flying back at Sasuke in a significantly faster, but more concentrated manner. The other hand would beckon, the discarded wires, slinking back towards their owner as Raiz focused on the aura around his own frame. As things stood now, he would wait for the wires to return, electing to stay on the defensive to see what other tricks his opponent might employ in their fight.
  23.
  24. Sasaukage Deleted by Sasaukage; only visible to room staff.
  25. Those mismatched eyes narrowed as the fiery shuriken were collected and thrown back at him; his sword came out in a flash, deflecting several with a few flicks of his wrist, but one cut into his cloak and the stump of his left arm, leaving an instantly-cauterized flesh wound, though it set his cloak on fire. Another slashed into his right hip as he deflected another from his face; gritting his teeth, he leapt to the side to avoid the rest, sliding on his feet as he landed. None of the wounds were debilitating, but they certainly stung, and burned; a shinobi was trained to fight through pain, however. Sheathing his sword, he exhaled, threw off his burning cloak, and dashed forward again with Shunshin no Jutsu, powering his movements with chakra to move rapidly; to some observers, perhaps it'd seem he disappeared from sight, but perhaps his empowered opponent saw it differently. Sasuke stopped just within ten meters of the man, however, extending his right hand towards him, fingertips stretching forward. Chidori Eiso! The same blue lightning as before chirped to life around his hand--and extended forward quickly as a slender piercing blade of semi-solid lightning, aimed for Raiz's upper left arm.
  26.
  27. Raiz Raiz maintained his focus on the aura shrouding his form. A form of passive nature took effect as soon as the electricity of Sasuke's Chidori tried to bite into his arm. The electricity would seemingly vanish as his hand came in contact with toughened skin. It was at this same moment that the wires reattached themselves to their respective fingers. "I wonder what will happen," Raiz mused as two fingers extended, taking aim at Sasuke. "Pandora Bomb!" An explosion of electricity surged out from around Raiz in a dome like effect. It was here that Raiz once more felt the painful zap of electricity run through his body. If his opponent remained close enough, he too would feel the sting of electricity as Raiz did. Unlike Sasuke's chidori, this surge of electricity was magic in nature, Sparking with a red radiance to match that of Raiz's aura. Once all was finished, it would be revealed that Raiz had used the surge to switch the forms of his gauntlets into a pair of gauntlets and greaves that seemed almost molten in appearance. Lingering sparks of electricity would jolt from his frame as hands shook to ward off the numbing effect of the electrical current.
  28.
  29. Sasaukage The Uchiha blinked, as his attack seemed to have no effect--was it being absorbed? The lightning disappeared from his hand, and his mismatched eyes fell on those fingers extending his way. He heard the name of the attack being shouted, just before being swept up in a potent blast of electricity, seizing his muscles and scorching his skin. He was sent flying back, skidding across the battlefield, stirring up dust and dirt in his wake; he tried to right himself, but his muscles didn't want to answer him properly at first, and the shinobi fell back into the dirt. "D-...damn..." he growled through gritted teeth, before forcing himself to stand, though his legs still wobbled. As if to contrast Raiz's red aura, a purple aura came to life around Sasuke, as he sp

  31. at blood from biting his tongue. He had to think about this differently, it was clear. Susano'o! The purple aura grew, becoming the upper half of a hulking, ethereal skeleton, with great horns and glowing yellow eyes, A shield that doubled as a bow adorned the skeleton's left arm, while the right was possessed of a second forearm, which held a fiery purple orb--it extended into an arrow shape as the upper hand grasped at the air above it. He lifted his right hand, breathing a little heavily, still winded from the lightning blast; and the skeletal figure set the arrow to the string. Unless something happened to interrupt him, that same hand would slash down to the right, and his Susano'o would let loose a hefty arrow of solid, visible white-purple chakra.
  32.
  33. Raiz As the arrow was notched, Raiz's red aura started to flicker and flare once again as he assumed a tight stance to ready himself for the next attack. Fire surged from the gauntlets and greaves, the apparent difference from the previous set completely obvious now as Raiz once again waited for Sasuke to attack. An arrow was loosed, Raiz drawing a fist back and driving it forward into the arrow in an effort to do once again, what had been done with the lightning attack. This time Raiz wasn't quite as lucky. The attack dispersed as a surge of pain ran through Raiz's body for seemingly no reason. His form quaked and trembled from the pain as his teeth bared. it wasn't a terrible trade-off, but it had left him open for a few seconds. For now he would just elect to NOT try his hand with lady luck. The color of the flames would change. Assuming a pale blue color as the metal bits that looked molten changed to reflect the new flames. It was time to start fighting fire with fire in a manner of speaking. With Sasuke showing bit by bit what he was capable of, Raiz was more willing to grant a display of strength to the ninja as well. If allowed, a fist would raise and slam down into the ground to bring pillars of pale flame jutting up all around in the battle field. As it was, there was no way of knowing what the fire did. Sasuke would find out the hard way if he happened to touch them. Given the change and frequency of the fires. He would be hard pressed to move with Susan'o active.Glowing red eyes would narrow and focus on Sasuke as if daring him to make an attack.
  34.
  35. Sasaukage Sasuke saw the punch, and blinked--watching the arrow disperse. Its momentum wasn't so easily gotten rid of, it seems, as the demonic butler seemed to quake in place; the shinobi's eyes widened, then, and took advantage of the opening to further manifest his Susano'o. Musculature started to appear over the bones of the ethereal skeleton, along with skin, hiding the horns behind a helmet-like protrusion. Before he could manifest the legs to seal it off, however, that fist slammed into the ground, and pillars of fire erupted across the battlefield. He had to leap to the side to avoid being burned to a crisp as he felt the ground beneath his feet rumble; the Susano'o construct moved with him, anchored to him as it was. Even so, a portion of the pillar seeped beneath the outer edge of his construct, and blue fire seared at the stump of his arm, and burned at his hair and clothing. There was only one sure way to get it off of him... Shinra Tensei! Within his Susano'o, that same forcible shockwave was released from his body, but what lingering effects the fire may have had, he couldn't immediately know--instead, he focused on trying to complete his Susano'o's body, lifting up into the air to float behind its face as its legs and feet manifested. If things went well, he'd will the ethereal warrior forward, making it leap forward as it swept a sword made of the same stuff as the arrow from before down at Raiz.

  38.
  39. Raiz "That is the match my friend." Bale Fire. Hell Fire. Flames of Ba'al. The blue flames held a wide variety of names. No matter what one called it, the effects remained the same. magical flames birthed of the spiritual plane existed outside the realm of physical influence. Sasuke's body would not be burnt. Rather his very soul would start to ignite as his Susano'o began to meet the same fate. At this time Raiz's form would shift back to a normal state as his ability to control the chaotic aura of his Chaos Form reached its max. Resuming his normal state was much quicker. Almost as if the form melted away into his body. This would of course, case Raiz's stance to slacken a bit as the hit he took began to show just how much of a toll it had taken on the butler. Use of Chaos mode had just as much risk as reward. In this case it seemed to serve its purpose of confusing his opponent enough to allow the use of the Bale Fire with his Ifrit weapon to deal what he prayed was the final blow. If Sasuke had a means of countering a spiritual attack. Raiz would just have to hope he had enough stamina left for a final assault.
  40.
  41. Sasaukage There were a few options Sasuke had to possibly deal with an attack like this; but the surest one required physical contact. Severe pain wracked through him, a pain unlike he'd ever known--and using Susano'o itself was constant pain, a strain on his entire body, so that was certainly saying something. He dispelled Susano'o, the purplish ethereal fires dissipating, and his knees trembled--but he forced himself forward, pouring some of his remaining chakra into his speed. He'd dash forward at Raiz, his one hand extending outward. Contact with that hand, provided he managed to be successful, would tug at Raiz's own spirit, as the rest of his chakra was focused through his Rinnegan; it was a longshot, but perhaps extracting some of the butler's soul and life force would quench the flames burning at his own. There was another caveat, however, in that Sasuke rarely used this Path of the Rinnegan, and wasn't particularly well-educated on its use; Raiz might be able to use that to his advantage.
  42.
  43. Raiz Eyes watched as Sasuke poured out his Susano'o. Even if his speed was being enhanced by his Chakra, it was still plain as day that his opponent was up to something. Eyes followed his movements, watching as his hand outstretched. it was clear that Sasuke was trying something. His response was quick. Side stepping and turning to allow Sasuke to barely slip by. A kick off would send him back, pushing him away. he already won this. It was only a matter of when at this point. Raiz had no desire to push on the fight and let his opponent get close enough to try something that may turn the tides. A few powerful leaps sent him bounding back until his body fell into one of the pillars of blue flame. Now if Sasuke wanted to get him. he had to subject himself to more of the blue fires to do so. Ifrit allowed him to protect himself from the Bale Fire. "Just surrender already. You've already lost," he would call out from the flames. "I know full well that hurts like hell. No point in subjecting yourself to more of that pain than necessary."
  44.
  45. Sasaukage Raiz moved--a hair's breadth, and Sasuke might have made contact, and continued the fight. It wasn't to be, however; instead, a hard kick punched into his side. His body was flung aside, it seemed--until he suddenly switched places (and momentum) with a piece of rubble from the ring farther away. "...I concede the match," the Uchiha agreed, struggling to keep his voice steady as his soul metaphysically burned. There was nothing at stake here, after all, and the shinobi still had his pride. "Th-those flames of yours are...interesting, to say the least."
  46.
  47. Raiz With the concession, Raiz snapped his fingers and the azure flames were extinguished. Sasuke would feel an almost immediate relief as the burning stopped. "A fine fight," he would say to the Ninja. "I have to say. You have a series of tricks that I find quite curious myself. Reality distortion. Black flame. It seems you have a lot of up your sleeve." He wanted to poke and prod. Ask questions about what it was the Ninja was able to do. He refrained from doing so knowing that flurrying Sasuke with questions would have been quite rude.
