  1. This paste will have more added on in the future, but these should cover most general questions.
  2.
  3. Why do you roll so much?
  4.
  5. It is arguably the most important part of the speedrun since, when done properly, it is significantly faster than simply running. It is also highly recommended that you rebind roll to a key as opposed to the Middle Mouse Button / Scroll Wheel Click. The rate at which you can roll is determined by the Hero's Speed level. We alternate rolling and using Assassin Rush as the primary distance traversing strategy. Berserk plays a big part in movement as well as it increases your speed as well as strength.
  6.
  7. Why's the game in French?
  8. Due to the fact that the dialogue in Prison is spoken in the outside world, it cannot be skipped. It can, however, be spoken 34 seconds faster in French than in English.
  9.
  10. How do you make so much gold so fast?
  11. This is actually pretty simple. As long as you can buy and sell items in lots of at least 20-30 or higher, you can buy and sell them back to the same trader for an immediate profit. The game follows a supply and demand system but fails to check if the items you just purchased belong to the trader like it did in the 2004 Xbox original.
  12.
  13. How do you clip those gates and doors?
  14. This technique is called Summon Clipping and it's done using the two spells Summon and Assassin Rush. Assassin Rush has an interesting mechanic where it will try to place you behind any live unit you may be targeting, friendly or hostile. Using Summon, we can spawn an appropriately sized live target behind which to Rush within a gate, wall, etc.. An important note is that while I generally clip through 2 Demon Doors, only 3 of them have loading zones behind them: Witchwood Stones, Lychfield Graveyard, and Lookout Point. All other Demon Doors require being opened to gain access to their "interiors." The reason we don't clip the Lychfield Demon Door is because the game requires you to collect Nostro's Armour and return it to him regardless.
  15.
  16. How do you do so much damage with Multi Arrow?
  17. The last charge does extra damage (I want to say double) compared to the first 3 shots used, so I can kill a half-dead Earth troll, as well as a half-dead humanoid Jack of Blades with the last remaining Multi Arrow charge.
  18.
  19. How do you get Lightning to to hit enemies so quickly?
  20. This is done by restarting the channel after it's dealt damage/hit the target. Since there's no cooldown, and channeling Lv 1 Lightning takes a long time to get more than 1 hit out, we do it this way.
  21.
  22. How are you getting so much Combat Multiplier in the Arena/Why are you spamming Force Push in the Arena?
  23. Force Push gives Combat Multiplier based on how many targets are hit, as well as the spell's level. It also does not discriminate living or dead targets when granting CM, so we exploit that to the fullest in the Arena.
  24.
  25. Why are you spamming Summon in the Arena?
  26. Fable's Experience system is centered around the Combat Multiplier, which gets its multiplicative name by multiplying experience points gained by the number it's displayed as. Summon grants 3 Will XP on its own. Let's say I have a Combat Multiplier of 80. 80 x 3 = 240. Summon also has virtually no cooldown so it can be used multiple times per second. For grins, let's say 6ps. 80 x 3 = 240 x 6 keystrokes per second = 1440 Will XP per second. In TLC, spells can also be on multiple buttons at once. I think you can see where this is going by now. If you'd like to watch a video I made about the game's experience system, you can do so here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7pIFtyOuS4
  27.
  28. Why do you use the menu to use the Guild Seal?
  29. With practice in menu navigation, it is faster as well as safer to menu the guild seal instead of charging it. Getting hit by anything, even with Physical Shield up, will disrupt the charge. An important note is that while doing it is you must not be in the middle of an animmation, or else it won't work. A common example is after the buy/sell in the guild just before Twinblade's Camp where your hero will likely still be in the wave animation if you try to teleport as soon as you conclude your business with the trader and the seal won't work.
