Hello, it's been a long time since most of you have heard from Essential Gameplay, we took a break for nearly a year after most of what made EGP what it was left our community. But we're now coming back as [b][i]GMRoleplay[/i][/b].


[h1]Why we are making this announcement:[/h1]

We are making this announcement as we're far into the production of the server and we need guidance on what map we should use based on what the community wants, from this; we have decided to comprise a list of three maps which all of the new management team see as suitable for the server(s).

Please help us decide which map you'd wish to have running on our server, by commenting on this announcement, as we want to do what the community sees as adequate.

I am also going to address some frequently asked questions I believe we are going to get from this post.

[b] [i]Will I get my donator rank back?[/i] [/b] - Since Essential Gameplay/GMRoleplay is under new management, we [u]are not going to give back previous ranks[/u], but if we have substantial evidence, we may compensate you with something other than a donator rank.

[b] [i] Will there still be the same jobs? [/b] [/i] - We are going to try to stick to the same jobs that were previously utilised in EGP with some substantial changes, some of these being that there will be a rank/progression system for police. Where if you've been police for x amount of hours, you get promoted to a higher rank and once you've got to x rank, you will unlock a better job like [i]Swat[/i] or [i]Detective[/i]. We are also getting rid of [i]Donator Jobs[/i] and instead donators will get cosmetic and monetary perks. Another significant feature we're changing is the removal of the criminal and thief jobs since we are going to allow pretty much all roleplay activities that aren't required to have an extra job done through the 'citizen' job.

[b] [i] Will the economy still function the same? [/i] [/b] - Now this is a big one, and we have 2 answers for this: Jobs will be more rewarding and will equate to a close amount that criminal activities will make you, and items like vehicles, weapons and money will be much harder to obtain on the server.
