  1. Friday, Oct. 18: Free breakfast at the hotel. Be ready to board the bus at 9:15 a.m. Bus will depart at 9:30 a.m. Rowers should bring their filled water bottles.

  3. Upon arriving at the race course, coolers will be brought from the bus to course by rowers. The coolers will include Gatorade, cheese sticks, fruit and granola bars. There will be no City Honors tent or tables at the regatta. Home base for rowers at the regatta will be the WSRC boat trailer.

  5. Boats will need to be rigged up. Practice row on the course will follow, the time to be determined. Each rower will be given $10 for their Friday lunch at the course. Food vendors will be there.

  7. Bus will leave the course at 7 p.m. to return to the hotel. That should give rowers a good amount of time after their practice to spend time exploring the race course, Cambridge (Harvard, MIT, Boston University) or, for those willing to Uber or walk farther, Bunker Hill Monument, JFK National Historic Site and Fenway Park. Rowers will be on their own for dinner Friday in Boston. Pay your own way.

  9. But we’re also planning an optional team meal after we get back from practice, $10 per person at 7 pm in the hotel lobby. We will order a combination of pizza, pasta dishes and salads. Reply back with the number of people who will attend, as well as any dietary restrictions/requests. We will collect money Friday on the bus to practice. Please respond by Thursday afternoon.

  13. Saturday, Oct. 19: Breakfast at hotel (free).

Bus will depart hotel at 10 a.m. and drop off rowers (plus parents who paid for weekend bus trip) at a designated spot in Boston for sightseeing, college tours etc. The bus will pick them up at the same spot at 6 p.m. On the way back to the hotel, the bus will stop at a Wegmans near the hotel and rowers can find food they want at the store’s café. We’ll eat at the Wegmans. You can buy food and bring it back to your hotel room, too.) Rowers are responsible for paying for their own food at Wegmans.

  17. The club will buy food for the trailer while at Wegmans for race day, such as protein bars, fruit, cheese sticks, bagels, peanut butter.

  25. Rowers must be packed up with their belongings in the hotel lobby at a time to be determined by coaches.

  27. The bus will leave directly for Buffalo from the race course once the boats are de-rigged and loaded on the WSRC trailer.
