  3. Hi, John. I've been working on a Doom source port using the GPL PC
  4. version code as a base, and for novelty purposes I am using the Jaguar
  5. source as a reference to make my port behave like the Jaguar port of
  6. Doom. I'm concerned about the source license, though, the Jaguar
  7. version uses the original Doom source license, whereas the port I'm
  8. using as a base (Chocolate Doom) is licensed under the GPL version of
  9. the Doom source.

  11. I was wondering what you think I should do about this to avoid
  12. problems with licensing, or if you are willing to consider rereleasing
  13. the Jaguar source under GPL. Thanks.

  16. There is no chance that we will go through a rlicensing process for the jaguar doom codebase, but I can't image anyone caring that you used that instead of the official codebase.
