- Hi,
- Did you run:
- yum install mysql-server
- /sbin/service mysqld start
- Or what process did you use to install it?

- Are you alternating accessing the server and installing applications on the root and SC account? It looks like what happened is you've installed applications under different users, and the shared libraries have permissions issues. At this point, it would probably be easier to reinstall the OS. Let me know if you want me to do this.

- Roy

- We generally don't offer software support, because it's nearly impossible for us to know what's been done on the server before we step in. If I install software, you also won't know what procedures I used, and could cause conflicts later. For now, I'll look into the daemon error.

- We host Minecraft with MCMA, but looking over multicraft, it looks like you were supposed to install and run the sql db first. Was this the order you did it in?

- This is their full pricing model:
- It would probably be on the expensive end for what you are trying to set up. I'm going to go ahead and reinstall the OS.

- Hi,
- Each instance will have a McMyAdmin.conf file, here you can set the IP address etc of the server. I've completed the server reinstall and included a desktop. I have NOT yet installed the VNC viewer, as this may affect other things you are doing. I would recommend first getting the sql server and any other base applications you need first. This can all be done via SSH as root.

- Roy

- Do the sql install first, and it should work fine:
- yum install mysql-server
- /sbin/service/mysqld start
- I'm not sure if you'll need apache, but it's an easy install through yum as well.

- I need to do this:
- At last we also have to open HTTP and Minecraft ports in our firewall. That is if your system uses FirewallD - our VPS products don't have that by default, so if you use one of those you don't have to run the below commands.
- firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-port=80/tcp
- firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-port=25565/tcp
- firewall-cmd --reload
- But it says firewall-cmd: command not found
