My idea for a second capstone project came to me after a recent social faux-pas during which I made the mistake of assuming a particular cultural figure
I knew a fair bit about was dead, when in fact they are alive and well. My app idea has a simple premise with a tinge of dark humor which will prevent such embarrasment in social situatations.
By providing a simple interface with which a user can simply enter the name of a cultural figure, they will immediately be notified by a database
whether the person in question is alive or dead along with biographical dates.
It's not a particularly innovative idea, but it provides the provides a quicker solution than wikipedia with more focused features
and potential for a more interesting UI.
