  1. in paragraph 6 an comparison shows how the women of ancient Rome still had power, even though they werent able to vote. The comparison says "What if you couldn’t vote for what your school would serve for lunch, but you had a friend who could? What would you do? If you wanted to eat healthy food that day, you could tell your friend that the carrots and apples will make everyone feel better and be less gassy so the classrooms would not smell as bad. Maybe this friend who could vote would listen to your ideas and vote the way you’d like". The comparison states "What if you couldn’t vote for what your school would serve for lunch, but you had a friend who could". Which is not exactly how Roman women worked with others because they weren't exactly friends, and they wouldn't really "listen to your ideas" unless they were discussing something about buissness. It tells how the women of Rome had some power. The comparison used important comparisons like how "this friend who could vote would listen to your ideas and vote the way you'd like". This is how Roman women interacted with those with power.
