16.
Pseudo in name but not in performance, the pseudo-legendaries are a group of extremely powerful Pokemon. Every generation has at least one pseudo-legendary (Gen 3 got greedy with two) and they all share similar traits and adhere to certain design "rules". First of all, every pseudo-legendary has a BST of 600, they all have a three Pokemon evolution line, and every pseudo-legendary evolutionary line has at least one Pokemon with the color blue as a prominent part of its spriting. Pseudo-legendaries also evolve at very high levels and are usually hard to obtain in-game. However, should you take the time to train your god-awful Pupitar till it hits pupity (see what I did there?) then you won't regret it when you have a enormous rocky dinosaur tearing shit up so hard that, and I quote, "maps have to be redrawn".

 18.
In this article I will be ranking the six pseudo-legendaries in terms of how good they are in BW; however, I will also be taking a trip down memory lane and extolling the virtues these Pokemon had in previous gens. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you my ranking of the pseudo-legendaries!

 22.
#6 Metagross

 23.
 24.
Kind of decayed over the generations. Very good in Advance, decent in DP and in BW...It lost Explosion, Meteor Miss sucks, Bullet Punch has low power and redundant coverage with Meteor Mash, Hammer Arm lowers its Speed...yeah this is pretty much non-debatable.

 27.
#5 Hydreigon

 28.
 29.
Unfortunate Speed tier, but good Special Attack and can run Modest (which Latios and Latias can't) and functions well in both Sun and Rain. Can surprise with Work Up set.

 30.
 31.
 32.
#4 Salamence

 33.
 34.
Wasn't as amazing in RSE as it was in DP, but boy was it good in DP (maybe not quite Uber material, just my opinion...). However in BW it plays second fiddle to Dragonite due to Multi Scale, Dragonite's ability to function really well in Rain thanks to its great bulk and Thunder and STAB Hurricane. Also no Outrage + Dragon Dance + Moxie...

 36.
 37.
#3 Dragonite

 38.
 39.
RBY Dragonite was annoying but not really top tier. In GSC and RSE it didn't have good STAB options and Outrage wasn't very good. Late DP was kind to it with the banning of Salamence, but it still was less used than Flygon. It really hit the jackpot in BW with Multi Scale and the rise of rain. Dragon Dance set is really threatening and plays defensive roles well with Dragon Tail.

 40.
 41.
 42.
#2 Tyranitar

 43.
 44.
Good defensive Pokemon in GSC and helped balance out Psychic dominance. Just kept getting better from there. RSE brought Dragon Dance, Sandstream, and Choice Band which made it a threatening sweeper; DP brought the SpD boost, physical Pursuit and Crunch, Stone Edge, and Choice Scarf. BW was a bit of a mixed bag. It's not really a sweeper anymore, but it does benefit from the new sandstream Pokemon such as Landorus and Terrakion in OU and Excadrill in Ubers. Its ability is the most defining ability in OU's existence in my opinion.

 45.
 46.
 47.
#1 Garchomp

 48.
 49.
Well I wanted Tyranitar here but... Garchomp is the only pseudo to be Uber in every Gen it has ever been in. It has the trolliest base Speed in the world, great Attack and perfect coverage STABs, throw in Swords Dance, Sand Veil and similar bulk to Gliscor and you have one hell of a broken Pokemon. Just as threatening now as it was in DP what with more Dragon-types in can outspeed and hit super effectively with a STAB move other than Outrage.
