1. Marijuana:

Marijuana - combination of shredded leaves, stems and flower/buds (of Cannabis sativa)
Joint: Mixture of tobacco and marijuana, usually rolled in rolling papers/"king-skins" such as rizla/raw brands etc.
Blunt: Straight marijuana, usually rolled in a blunt/cigar wrap such as backwoods/swishers/zig-zag.

Good quality marijuana: will have a strong smell, depending on the strain and shipment method it may smell like; lemons, stale beer/cat piss/skunk.
It will be coated in quite alot of crystals or "keef", this is what makes marijuana "sticky". Vibrant colours - green with orange or purple hairs.
Poor quality marijuana: less strong smell, appears a faded green/brown in colour. Dry/dusty. Often contains seeds/alot of stems.

Indica / Sativa have different effects on the user.
Indica strains are usually a better sleep aid, making the user feel lethargic. It's often described as a body-high, meaning it causes the user to feel relaxed throughout their body rather than just a head-high.
Sativa strains tend to provide a more energizing experience. Often users will experience the giggles, munchies, and be more awake and chatty in general.

Marijuana rarely has negative side-effects, however it can happen. Those with a dormant mental illness, may be effected by negative side-effects more than others.
Effects of abuse/rare negative side-effects: Feelings of panic and fear (paranoia), Trouble concentrating, Whitey.
A whitey is when cannabis makes you feel really faint and nauseous. You go pale (hence the name), feel cold, sweat, shake, vomit and sometimes pass out.
It can happen because you're tired, hungry, dehydrated or you've just smoked too much.

When people quit long term marijuana use, they often experience insomnia due to vivid / feverish dreams as well as irritation/agression.



2. MDMA:

-MDMA is a psychoactive drug primarily used as a recreational drug.
The desired effects include altered sensations and increased energy, empathy, and pleasure
MDMA/Mandy or the US term "molly" colloquially refer to MDMA in a crystalline powder form that is thought to be free of adulterants. (pure)

It comes in crystal/shards in purest form, is ground into powder or pressed into Ecstasy pills. Crystals are usually brown/white - the brown colouration is actually impurities (which are difficult to avoid)
Mdma is often crushed up to a fine powder and then snorted, or wrapped in a rolling paper and swallowed (AKA a bomb of MD).
MDMA is the active ingredient in ecstasy tablets, which can come in any shape/size/colour. They usually have names such as Gold Lions, Blue Ghosts, Green XBoxes etc.

MDMA is a potent drug, you would likely roleplay doing out roughly 0.2 - 0.3 lines/bombs. Seasoned users could possibly do up to .5 each time, but would be extremely intoxicated afterwards.
MDMA takes between 20-45 minutes to kick in.

Possible effects: "Love-buzz" - You want to touch/be touched, talking about emotional subjects. Sweating, increase in pupil size, jaw clenching/chewing, lots of energy.
Come-down effects: Depression, nausea, hang-over like effects.



3. Ketamine:

KETAMINE similar to PCP- Powder or liquid form. Often used as "date-rape drug".
AKA Special K, K, Ket, Kit Kat, Vitamin K or Low Kat (Lowden Park Brims colloquialism)
Ketamine comes in three main forms: powder, tablet and liquid. The most common form is white powder which is snorted.
It looks like cocaine but is smoother and less likely to form hard rocks or a flowery texture if damp.
Abrupt high that lasts for about an hour or two.

Possible effects: Numbness in legs, arms and face. Slight hallucinations - depth perception issues, confusion, out of body experiences.
Effects of abuse: Bladder & Kidney issues; can't urinate but feel like you have to / weak bladder. Addictive. K-holing.

A K-hole is Falling into a k hole" is slang for how it feels when you take a high-enough dose of ketamine that your awareness of the world around you, and your control over your own body,
become so profoundly impaired that you're temporarily unable to interact with others—or the world around you. Ketamine is a dissociative drug.

Ketamine reacts very badly to alcohol, it's not reccomended to mix the two.



4. Cocaine:

COCAINE
also known as coke snow, C, charlie, coke, rock, dust, white/white girl;
is a strong stimulant mostly used as a recreational drug. It is commonly snorted, inhaled as smoke, or dissolved and injected into a vein.

Effects of cocaine start quickly but only last for up to 30 minutes. You may feel more alert, energetic, exhilarated and confident. Your heart and pulse rate speed up suddenly.
Hyperactivity, dilated pupils, dry mouth, sweating and loss of appetite, Increased sex drive.
Higher doses can make you feel very anxious and panicky.
An overdose can cause epileptic fit, stroke, breathing problems and heart attack.
When you mix cocaine with alcohol, they combine to produce cocaethylene, which increases the risks of damage to the heart or heart attack.
Extremely dangerous if you inject it with heroin, known as a ‘speedball’.

Effects of abuse: Chronic impotence and sexual dysfunction, Damage to the septum, nose and airways, Chronic nosebleeds (snorting).



5. LSD:


LSD
also known as lysergic acid diethylamide, acid, blotter, cheer, dots, flash, hawk, L, lightening flash, lucy, micro dot, trips, tabs.

LSD is a hallucinogenic drug. It comes from ergot, a fungus found growing wild on rye and other grasses. It comes as a piece of paper with pictures on it, which you suck or swallow.
You can also leave it overnight in purified water, as the drug is water-soluble, you can then get a trip from drinking the water.
Effects start 30 minutes after you take it and can last up to 12 - 20 hours.
You may have visual effects, distortion of sound, changes in sense of time and place. This is called a ‘trip’

Oxygen, direct sunlight exposure and moisture can render an acid tab useless as it degrades the chemicals.



6. Xanax:

Xanax works by increasing the amount of the neurotransmitter GABA in the brain to promote calmness and a relaxed feeling.
Fast acting - works in roughly 15 minutes lasting up to 4-5 hours.

2 milligram - white, oblong, multi-scored, imprinted "XANAX" on one side and "2" on the reverse side.

It is extremely addictive, a habit can be formed within a couple days/weeks depending on frequency of use.

Can come in rectangular bars or oval pills.

7. FENTANYL
is an opioid used as a pain medication and together with other medications for anesthesia.
You might experience the following: High pain tolerance, euphoria, relaxation, hallucinations, nausea, weakness, sweating, and confusion. Fentanyl is an extremely potent opioid. The high is almost the same as Heroin expect more dangerous. Usually kicks in instantly but stays in your system for 11 to 22 hours.(edited)

8. Methamphetamine:

METHAMPHETAMINE  is a potent central nervous system stimulant that is mainly used as a recreational drug.
.You might experience the following: Decreased appetite, euphoria/rush, irregular heartbeat, hypothermia, wakefulness, attentive. Methamphetamine causes the user to feel an immediate rush which lasts for about 30 minutes. Crystal Meth has a deteriorating high, which causes the user to crash after the initial high. This causes users to go on a binge. The high usually lasts for 4 to 16 hours.

9. Oxycodone:

OXYCODONE

You might experience the following: Dry mouth, nausea, sweating, mood changes, headache, dizziness. Oxycodone is an opioid painkiller and the high comes from abusing the drug. I.e. Mixing, crushing, etc.

10. Nitrous oxide

Nitrous oxide is inhaled.

People open the canister, transfer the gas into a container (usually a balloon), then inhale from the balloon.

Inhaling nitrous oxide directly from the canister is very dangerous because the gas is under such high pressure. It can cause a spasm of the throat muscle and stop a person breathing.

A colourless gas that people inhale, usually via a balloon

Can you get addicted?
It may be possible to become psychologically dependent on nitrous oxide, meaning that users develop an increased desire to keep using it despite the harm it may cause, but the evidence on this is limited.

In anecdotal reports, some people have reported developing cravings or feelings that they want to continue using nitrous oxide.
