  1. 1.Who is the lead administrator of your division? Depends on which divison I chose, but by "division" I assume you are talking about staff trees. So if I was to be an ArenaPvP Moderator, I would ask higher staff about situations I was unsure about. And on extreme ocassions Ginie, who is head of Arena PvP.
  2. 2. Where was MasterGberry's first job? Why does he mention this in the handbook? McDonalds, tells us being staff on a network is like a customer service job. Act professional at all times, and answer questions players may have about the network.
  3. 3. Fill in the blank. The most important thing about working on the Badlion Network's staff is to be respectful and professional at all times.
  4. 4. Fill in the blank. At Badlion Network we are all a team, we work together to improve and make the network better for ourselves and most important the community.
  5. 5. Where can the rules be found? https://www.badlion.net/wiki/rules
  6. 6. What do you do when you aren't sure what to do about something? (2 part answer) Ask for another staff members opinion, or higher up staff.
  7. 7. What happens if you see a fellow moderator breaking a rule? Depending on your ranking, advise them to refer back to the handbook, or tell them what is best to do in that situation. Or if it's a serious offence, report it to whichever manager that has authority in their tree.
  8. 8. When are you allowed to play games on the server and when are you not allowed to? Still maintain a professional image while playing gamemodes, we should all be trying our best to eliminate cheaters and players who break rules. So I'd drop my game I am playing to log online and deal with situations.
  9. 9. When are you allowed to talk about something that took place in the staff forums or staff chat? We cannot tell players confidential information about what's going on between the staff. I know on Kohi we weren't allowed to tell players their ban reasons etc... Similar applies, simple, don't tell players about things they shouldn't be hearing unless permmission from a high up staff member.
  10. 10. Where do you find up-to-date information about what is going on across the Badlion Network? On the forums, www.badlion.net.
  11. 11. What do you do if you have a quarrel with another moderator? I usually just drop it, tell them it's not worth arguing over. I am also apart of the Badlion staff team to make friends, not enemies.
  12. 12. Scenario question. You see two people arguing in chat and excessively cursing in public chat. What do you do? Mute for 15 minutes, scaling on how many offenses / how bad the behavior is. Players who argue excessively was not tolerated on Kohi, but a small amount of shit talk was. From reading the handbook I am sensing you guys want to keep Badlion safe and so called "family friendly" (el oh el) for all players who play on the network.
  13. 13. You are confident that someone is hacking on a server you are not staff on. What do you do? Use the in-game staff chat to see if a player is online with that moderator rank. Tell them, and they will deal with it. If not report it in discord (I'm still currently unsure about channels etc... But on Kohi slack we had channels to report players in game to higher staff, I deal with a lot of moderators telling me to screenshare players when they log on.)
  14. 14. You catch a non-donator hacking. Are you able to ban him without video evidence? You need video evidence for every ban as a moderator.
  15. 15. You catch a donator hacking. Are you able to ban him without video evidence? Same as question 14.
  16. 16. You know someone on the server has been caught hacking in the past on other servers. Do you ban him/her? No, only if they are breaking the rules on our server do we take action upon them.
  17. 17. As a trial are you allowed to ban players? If not what should you do when you find someone cheating? As my rank will not be trial, I would record and ban them.
  18. 18. Who is the first person you should go to when you are a trial? My manager, which I believe to be someone from the Kohi administrator, so it will be easily to describe situations.
  19. 19. Can you explain the chain of command above you? Trials - Moderators - Seniors - Managers - Head of divisions - Owners
  20. 20. What are issues you should be skipping straight through the command chain to the owners for? Anything related to payment issues, suggestions on balancing gamemodes. And I'm guessing extreme DDoS/ DOXing threats. I know on Kohi our admins dealt with a lot of those, and usually resulted in a blacklist.
  21. 23. When you are a full staff member what servers are you allowed to mute on? ban on? global mute on? We are allowed to mute players across any server we are currently on, but as a full staff member we can only ban on the servers we pick.
  22. 24. When should you be adding people onto Skype? Should not be adding anyone to Skype, unless it is a current staff member having issues with being added etc...
  23. 25. What are three bad examples of a staff member that you should never do? Act unprofessional in chat (shit talk etc...) False banning players causing rioting in chat. And finally arguing with/against other staff members, ESPECIALLY higher ups.
