RULES

Let's start off with some Discord rules to keep everything running nice and smooth. Of course, common sense is the main driving factor in the rules!
! BASIC RULES
- Don't hate on other menus, all developers work very hard and everyone deserves their spot in the GTA modding community.
- Talking about other menus is allowed as long as you're not advertising for them and there is no hate involved.
- Don't ask for money drops, if there is a drop it will be announced in the #money-drop channel.
- Don't ask for free premium. People work very hard for this menu and they deserve the payment.
- Don't use offensive names and don't use names that are already used by other members/staff.
- Don't ask for updates. The menu will  be updated once an update is ready.
- No self bots.

! TEXT RULES
- Respect eachother. We're all here to have a good time modding GTA.
- Don't say there is a "banwave" if there is no "banwave".
- Don't tag D3sk1ng or anyone you don't need to tag.
- No NSFW (Not safe for work) or offensive content.
- English only. Not everyone speaks all languages.
- No drama. Seriously, no one likes drama.
- No spamming or advertising.
- No excessive trolling.

MENU INFORMATION

Alongside the free (Lite) version the D3sk1ng menu offers 2 purchasable versions, Premium and Tester:

The free download can be found in the #free-release channel.

Premium features a lot more options based around griefing and a safe money method (#premium-features for more information)
Tester gives the user early access to new and upcomming features. These are often untested so be warned.
Both versions are lifetime upgrades.

GETTING THE MENU TO WORK

To install the menu you just have to drag and drop all downloaded files in your GTA directory.


Having trouble getting the menu to work? Try the following steps!
+To open the menu make sure you have numlock enabled. Then it should open with numpad * or the [INSERT] key.

+Make sure you have no other/old menus or modding related files in your GTA directory. You can always ask one of the staff members if your GTA directory has the right files.

+Ensure you have the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 installed. You need both the x64 and x86 version (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145).

+Download the files from #premium-release, make sure they are named: "dsound.dll", "Bypass.dsk" & "D3SK1NG.dsk"  put them into the right GTA folder, overwrite if prompted.

+Set GTAVLauncher.exe to start as admin by going to properties -> compatibility -> check run as administrator

+Ensure your antivirus is not interfering

+First time using it: on the dialog: press numpad 5 type username then press numpad 2 or arrow, press numpad 5 again and type password. everything is case sensitive! make sure it's correct or it will cause the menu to disable itself. you can try again when you start gta again, additionally you can insert the login manually in config.ini.

This should be the first setting in your config file:

Where do I download the free menu?
    In the #free-release channel

How do I open the menu?
    The menu can be opened with the [INSERT] and numpad * buttons. Make sure numlock is enabled.
    If you use a controller you can use dpad right+ X/Square

Why can't I talk?
    You're probably punished, muted or using words/emotes that are blocked by our filter™

Is [insert feature] safe?
    We have made a trigger that answers all your questions about safety! Type "plssafe" in any channel to get acces to this trigger.
    The trigger can be found on the bottom of this post aswell.

Why can't I drop money?
    Money drops are disabled by default, the reason for this is the incredibly high ban risk.
    If you're sure you want to use the money drop feature you can disable SAFEMODE in the settings of your menu.

CONVERTING STEAM TO SOCIAL CLUB OR SOCIAL CLUB TO STEAM

If you would like to convert your Steam install to a Social Club install, or vice versa, download Retail.rar for Social Club, and Steam.rar for Steam.

Copy all files from your old (Steam/SC) GTA location to the new one (SC/Steam) and delete the GTA5.exe, GTAVLauncher.exe and PlayGTAV.exe files.
