AGILITY TRAINING GUIDE

This guide describes the most effective methods to train the Agility skill. Agility is a support skill that allows players to regain run energy more quickly and to take advantage of shortcuts found throughout RuneScape. Training the Agility skill often involves completing laps of courses composed of series of obstacles that grant Agility experience when traversed successfully.


Training the agility skill is advised for both high-level and low-level players as it is the fastest way to train the skill for the majority of the game.

Methodology

There are 2 parts to training agility: the training playlist and the training method. Players can view the training route for the day by choosing Ranged in the character screen and selecting "Training Route" in the submenu. The training playlist is limited to 16 hours of training in one day, and can be refreshed from the dashboard by checking the in-game calendar. Any failed attempts will result in a penalty of 2% movement speed and/or an additional 10% duration. After all of the required components have been completed, you can begin your agility training. Training a new attribute is free, however there are a number of upgrades that can be purchased:

Permanent (monthly) upgrade options

In other news, Maxing Fast will not be a permanent upgrade anymore, but a semi-permanent upgrade! (after 30 days of no training)

You will be granted a one-time monetary value of 200 ACE. A few hours after upgrading, you will be awarded an achievement in the "Training Devices" category (or "Maxing Fast" category).

We decided to remove this achievement to prevent abuse and to give more attention to your ranking performance in the clan. If you have never been awarded ACE before, you will also receive 200 ACE!

REVAMPED GENERAL

This is a significant overhaul to how the game works. We've revamped all the combat aspects to do a better job of ensuring that you have the power to beat your enemies on your terms and aren't overly deterred by the threat of NPC mobs or traps. We've added the ability to completely overhaul your party, picking and choosing skills between members to make them fit your playstyle.

For all other new characters, you'll be given new level-appropriate stats to better reflect what you would need to hit your end-game goals.

The GM Guide is also revamped to ensure that it offers details about different areas and quests and how to complete them.

HANDWRITTEN MESSAGES

Players now have the opportunity to send the Letter of Request for different requests in order to unlock various items and corresponding tasks. For example, if you request that a certain person is to collect certain items for you, you will receive a greeting message when that request is sent.

- Added the Following cities: Eastern Marketplace, Western Marketplace, Mystic Rock, and Nereid City.

- Added The "Provincial Excavation" quest.

- Added The "Maratha Empire" and "Dwarven Settlement" quests.

- The "Adornment of Lightning" quest now requires a Nereid city.

- Added "The Secret of the Kyngswood" quest.

- The "Death and Tomb of Historian" quest now requires an Lothros territory.

- Removed the NPC "Chieftan Hannvarr" from the Town.

- The "War for Lothros" quest now

USEFUL EQUIPMENT

Useful gear for the hunting course you will take during your next hunting trip.

1) Glock 19 CZ 75, In addition to your sidearm which you will be carrying on your personal firearm and ammo you will want to carry a knife, like a Leatherman utility knife, for the simple reason that you will be hunting during a high stress situation, and the knife and bagged ammunition should do the trick! If you do plan on training with a Glock 9mm when doing recoil control drills, you will need a safety knife such as the UBB Safety Knife, since you will be using it to hold a magazine in your mouth.

Quests for Agility Experience

- Return to Ander and talk to him again.

- He will offer you the quest.

- Accept it, and you should find that the nearby hill holds a deep crater.

The player should approach the hill from the north-east and jump in.


Once the player leaps inside, Ander will finish telling you what to do next.


NOTE: Some of the players experience had a minor bug where their skill progression seems to be slow down at the beginning of this quest but quickly comes back as soon as they stand on the hill. This was fixed by Cia, who is the current writer on this quest.
