  1. Raven followed Maya to their chosen table, taking a seat across from the siren as the pair took a moment to enjoy the serene scene around them. It was all so meticulously genuine, so very detailed - the sight of a humble settlement going about its own business, undisturbed by the troubles of an outside world. The hunter had to remind himself that he was still within the Haven, despite his more superficial senses teasing him with latent musings of some distant foreign land. He wasn't far from home, despite the convincing change in scenery.

  3. Speaking of home.

  5. "Blueprints, eh? What 'cha got?" Raven leaned back into his wooden seat, the fabric padding providing delicate comfort. "You know, the Black Lodge has an entire wing that serves as a makeshift hotel of sorts for hunters in need of a place to crash. Room service is /terrible/ though." He chuckled, audible breath seeping past his nostrils. "Though usually when I'm out on a job I'll just stay at a local bed and breakfast or something similar. The only problem with /that/ though... sometimes my prey gets a whiff of me before I can locate it. The monsters come to /me/ while I'm trying to catch some sleep. Puts Normans at risk." Raven closed his eyes, brows furrowing with a hint of contempt.

  7. "Oh. Uh. Normans is what we in the business call regular, every day folk. People who have no idea that the supernatural is very real... and /very/ dangerous." He spoke with a subtle smile, certain that the siren held a similar sentiment towards those blind to the truth of the world. They were bystanders, best kept in the dark beneath a veil of ignorance. Mankind was not ready to be introduced to the secret world, that much was certain. He recalled all the previous individuals he had encountered, petty crooks and serial killers who's ambitions had only grown tenfold after getting ahold of some anomalous trinket or obtaining some otherworldly ability. Humanity was selfish by nature, thus it was only natural for them to feed into their own desires should they learn of the occult.
