  1. Rank Name: God of War
  2. Race: Human
  3. IGN: Aries Yatagurasu
  4. BYOND Key: Hunts Alone
  5.
  6. Rank Benefits:
  7. Blades of Chaos - Two sickle-like blades have been gifted to Aries by the gods themselves. They hold immense power though they will always be attached to his arm. (Edited Sword which never misses and has 3x sharpness, after using these blades in combat the user will receive a temporary arm injury to both arms. After the entire encounter not just one round.)
  8.
  9. Dance of War - Being the new God of War, Aries has mastered the concept of combat. His mind is able to delve into the countless situations of a battle. He is uncontested in combat and is able to adjust to any situation, changing tactics just like an army would in the flow of war. (Edited Custom Buff. 0.5 Force and Regeneration, AKA 10 points.)
  10.
  11. God's Awakening - Aries has unlocked the dormant godly side of his body, increasing his power greatly. (Race Change to Demigod, not the top priority of what I want but it makes sense in context so I'll ask for it.)
  12.
  13. RP Example of Rank: Aries had always liked his name. Related to the God of War, Ares and drawing inspiration from his namesake. His parents had practically made him for battle, from the very moment he was given his name, he'd be destined for greatness. When he was young he took up combat like instinct. He occasionally had small sparring matches with his brother and parents which led to surprising results. For a child below ten, he could handle himself fairly well in a fight. His parents had recognized his talent and began to take his training more seriously. His first real experience with proper combat was when his Mother was teaching him a method of combat. He was forced to create a style of fighting that was unique to himself. Aries finally decided to uphold his namesake, basing his stance off the flow of war. A constantly shifting encounter, small battles scattered in between. He focused his priorities on every little squabble, not paying attention to the battle as a whole. He'd win the small encounters which would lead to winning the war. That was the concept of battle in Aries' eyes.
  14.
  15. However, that was only the beginning of Aries' path. That was when he was just a whelp, nothing more than a child going through childhood. Now he considered himself an adult, someone who can navigate this world on his own. He had been apart from his family for some time and during this period he wished to seek new power. He knew he had some sort of godhood held deep within him though it was most likely dormant. He sought out to awaken his inner god one way or another.
  16.
  17. He went to the land of the Kais, figuring that it would be the godliest place he could find. He asked around the land, learning as much as he could about the Gods that lived in this area. Once he told people his name they soon drew connections to the real God of War. To Aries' surprise, the God he was named after existed and was present in Hell. The Prodigal Son smiled before dropping down into the yellow clouds and descended into Hell.
  18.
  19. A group of Demon Cultists who worshipped the God of War had been causing trouble, but nothing that Hell hadn't seen before. Aries hadn't seen some combat in some time and decided to get in on this action. His grandmother who happened to be the Devil wished for him to grow in power, and in her domain, he could do so with little consequences. The Warrior ran through multiple cultists, smashing them into the ground without effort. He questioned each one about the location of their God, Ares. Eventually, after he had practically destroyed the cult a being of immense power came floating down towards him.
  20.
  21. It seemed the God finally came out of hiding. Ares looked at -- Aries with a peculiar look.
  22.
  23. "Hello, child. Why have you destroyed my following?"
  24.
  25. Ares chuckled before responding to this supposed God. "I was looking for you. We got the same name, Ares. Though mine is spelled differently. I decided there could only be one, and I wanted to get stronger so I'll be taking your name. Also, your title as God of War comes along with it." The God of War erupted in laughter. He dropped to the ground from his floating position before creating a blade made of godly energy.
  26.
  27. "Well then. I shall correct your ignorance."
  28.
  29. If only this 'God of War' knew what he was dealing with. It was a difficult battle though the winner was the rightful Aries. This higher being wasn't someone to take a loss lightly. Just like his rage during the Trojan War, mocking the Trojans for falling for such an obvious trap. This time his revenge was attempting to possess this being. He couldn't take having such a young child besting him in combat. What followed was an internal struggle, a battle between Ares and Aries that would determine who would command this body. The God of War already made it inside though Aries wouldn't let him completely command his body. He blacked out, remaining still in the great expanse of Hell for some time.
  30.
  31. A couple days later he awoke with destruction laid all around him. The 'God of War' had taken this youngling's body out for a test drive, destroying everything around within a one-hundred-mile radius. It seemed Aries had gained control, but a raspy voice kept speaking within his head. Just like his father before him, a God was now trapped within his body and he had been blessed with its power.
  32.
  33. "Hmp...Puny God."
  34.
  35. It took time to get used to, however, Aries quickly adapted. He claimed the God of War title for himself, also learning to manifest blades upon his arms. The former God still wished to get back at this youngster so he permanently branded these blades to his arm. They were sealed until ready for use though Aries could never remove them. In the recent weeks, he's managed to tap into Ares' hidden well of power and unlock some of that godly energy stowed away from him. He had gained the power he was looking for. He'd be able to compete on a higher level with his elders. This was his own form of enlightenment, but he still had much more to learn.
