Why associate me with the worst white men, and not the best, guys like Shakespeare or Edison or Einstein, or Sinatra?

I’m white and male. Didn’t ask to be. Didn’t stand in some pre- registration line before being born. I had nothing to do with slavery, or shooting MLK, or preventing women from voting. Never sexually harassed anyone. So when I see famous people standing on stages at red carpet events waving the finger of shame at me, telling me how to behave, I don’t know what they’re talking about. Wasn’t it you Meryl Streep that elevated Harvey Weinstein to the status of god in 2012.

Any claim by women, even jilted starfuckers and groupies is to be taken at its word.

It’s all just noise drowning out the legitimate cases of sexual assault and actual racism, which do exist. But the parameters defining each have expanded to an all encompassing degree, so as to make the legitimate cases harder to discern.

I don’t care if you agree with me. There’s nothing you can say or do to change the way I think about this. It’s gotten out of hand. What qualifies her. Her money. Her speeches? She’s no more qualified than Donald Trump.

We need a meritocracy, where people are judged on the content of their character not the color of their skin. Black is not more noble than white and vice versa. Women are not smarter than men or better than men based on what’s not between their legs.

Judge on a case by case basis. And pointing out that historically white male patriarchal society hasn’t done that doesn’t make it right for you to do the same. If we want to get better as a society we should be striving for better, not vengeance. Not an eye for an eye.

Anyways, if you take nothing else from this post, understand this. Craig Mazin has never written a better script than either of mine. Ever. We are both white males.
