  1. Look, forcing morality on grown adults is never going to work, never going to make for a better society.
  2.
  3. People should do the right thing because they feel compelled to do the right thing, not out of fear of reprisal from the new coalition of SJWs who enjoy their power to exact historical vendettas in the guise of social justice.
  4.
  5. I never held slaves. I think it was a reprehensible atrocity.
  6.
  7. Are you going to make me apologize for slavery because I happen to be white and male?
  8.
  9. How is that logical.
  10.
  11. Black people don’t want to be profiled for crimes that some other black people have committed, don’t want to be followed around stores, don’t want to be pulled over by the cops needlessly, so why is it okay that I be associated with white slavers, or racist cops or Harvey Weinstein because I happen to share the same physical traits with some of them.
  12.
  13. Why associate me with the worst white men, and not the best, guys like Shakespeare or Edison or Einstein, or Sinatra?
  14.
  15. It makes no sense.
  16.
  17. Well, the SJWs will say, you should be sensitive to the plight of those historically marginalized due to their skin color or gender. I am. Always have been.
  18.
  19. But then when my own skin color and gender is used against me, to invalidate my opinions, I have to call bullshit. That’s hypocrisy. If you don’t want to be limited or profiled for your race or gender, don’t turn around and do the same to me.
  20.
  21. I’m white and male. Didn’t ask to be. Didn’t stand in some pre- registration line before being born. I had nothing to do with slavery, or shooting MLK, or preventing women from voting. Never sexually harassed anyone. So when I see famous people standing on stages at red carpet events waving the finger of shame at me, telling me how to behave, I don’t know what they’re talking about. Wasn’t it you Meryl Streep that elevated Harvey Weinstein to the status of god in 2012.
  22.
  23. Yes, that was you. Despite all the rumors of what a lech he was.
  24.
  25. I don’t need some millenial brats with their Kardashian sense of entitlement preaching morality to me. My compass works just fine. If you call me a racist for pointing out that we should be striving for a meritocracy in this world, and not constantly be trying to even the playing field with affirmative action moves which are textbook bias, handouts for people who constantly bang the drum of inequality , that’s just your assessment.
  26.
  27. I don’t care what color you are, or what sex. I care if you can write. If you can you should be working in the business, if not, you shouldn’t.
  28.
  29. But grendl, white males like yourself have just enjoyed all the opportunity...
  30.
  31. Uhm, no. I’m not in the business.
  32.
  33. Well, grendl maybe it’s because you’re not talented enough to work in a business where Alan Loeb thrives, and Max Landis, and Craig Mazin...
  34.
  35. Uhm hypothetical asshole, have you read my work. It’s as good as anything those writers have written. It’s as good as anything on the Black List, the Hit List, and anything floating around the offices of CAA.
  36.
  37. And yes it is.
  38.
  39. But I can’t blame my gender or race for my not breaking in. I have to just attribute it to lack of talent?
  40.
  41. I am as talented as at least 75% of pro screenwriters. Anyone who’s even marginally versed in screenwriting would have to admit that. But my lack of a sale means otherwise?
  42.
  43. You believe Real Monsters is worse than any Transformers script?
  44.
  45. You have got to be retarded, if you think that.
  46.
  47. And please someone point out how insensitive the term retarded is, and be specific as to whom should be taking offense to being called slow.
  48.
  49. Idiotic.
  50.
  51. You SJWs have lost your way. In trying to make this world a better place, you have made it worse. Stifling people by branding them with Scarlet letters “R” and “S”, I know you think that’s the answer. It makes you feel safe, a sense of moral superiority, but it’s just you trying to fit in. It has become a witch hunt. The Monsters arent Due on Maple Street, they are already here, and it isn’t just asshole racists and sexual predators, it’s you for expanding the definition of those terms to such a degree that it encompasses over half the population.
  52.
  53. I don’t care what you call me, frankly. Your opinions aren’t facts.
  54.
  55. Facts are facts. And your definition of what a racist or sexist is in not a uniform definition engraved in stone. Al Franken didn’t deserve to have the rape whistle blown on him, a decade after an incident which should have been brought up at the time.
  56.
  57. Franken wasn’t Weinstein, and didn’t have the power to crush careers like Harvey did. And his offenses?
  58.
  59. Hardly sexual assault. Improper, awkward, embarrassing, maybe. But not rape or sexual assault.
  60.
  61. You can claim otherwise. You can preach zero tolerance. But beware, especially you men who wholeheartedly have piled onto this angry woman’s movement to punish the patriarchy. You might be next.
  62.
  63. It’s not progress. Silencing people isn’t progress. Silencing victims, or people from defending themselves against allegations before due process, when it’s he said she said, in a climate where we believe her, no matter what, Duke LaCrosse, Tawana Brawley, it doesn’t matter. Any claim by women, even jilted starfuckers and groupies is to be taken at its word.
  64.
  65. Because women good, men bad.
  66.
  67. It’s all just noise drowning out the legitimate cases of sexual assault and actual racism, which do exist. But the parameters defining each have expanded to an all encompassing degree, so as to make the legitimate cases harder to discern.
  68.
  69. What exactly did Casey Affleck and Ben do?
  70.
  71. Do they deserve to have their careers ruined for acting like frat boys?
  72.
  73. I don’t care if you agree with me. There’s nothing you can say or do to change the way I think about this. It’s gotten out of hand. It’s gotten absurd, like the red scare back in Joseph McCarthys day. Everyone is terrified of being identified as a racist or sexist, and now Oprah Winfrey is the lefts leading candidate for president, based on what?
  74.
  75. What qualifies her. Her money. Her speeches? She’s no more qualified than Donald Trump.
  76.
  77. Fucking dumb. Stop being dumb. Stop being hypocritical.
  78.
  79. We need a meritocracy, where people are judged on the content of their character not the color of their skin. Black is not more noble than white and vice versa. Women are not smarter than men or better than men based on what’s not between their legs.
  80.
  81. Judge on a case by case basis. And pointing out that historically white male patriarchal society hasn’t done that doesn’t make it right for you to do the same. If we want to get better as a society we should be striving for better, not vengeance. Not an eye for an eye.
  82.
  83. Anyways, if you take nothing else from this post, understand this. Craig Mazin has never written a better script than either of mine. Ever. We are both white males. He’s enjoyed his time in that exclusive country club called Hollywood, I have been kept out. Based on nothing other than they could keep me out.
  84.
  85. And I will be continuing to post here. No matter how much you mock, or ostracize or try to shame my comments. There’s nothing you can do to prevent me from posting my opinions. Ever. Write a ten page screed, be as snarky and clever as you like. You will fail to drive me away as you did BMCHB. Because I don’t fear reprisal or scrutiny. Your power to troll me is useless.
  86.
  87. That is all...for now.
