- They came in a stampede, so quickly that it was all a blur. I fell to the ground, the gravel scraping my elbows. My vision blurred with a mixture of purple, green and red. Anna helped me up.
- "W - what's going on?" I blurted after regaining my breath. I looked up. Anna looked like she had seen a ghost. She was trembling.
- "They are here."
- "Wait, WHO'S here?"
- "THEM." She gestures to the crowd that passed us. Three figures stood before the mayor. He looked troubled. The first figure took a step forward. He wore a purple jacket, and black jeans. A knife was strapped to his thigh. The mayor stared at him carefully.
- "Hello there, Discord." he said gently.
- "Don't act like you didn't do anything, Mathew!" the purple man yelled, "Don't play nice!" He grabbed the knife strapped to his thigh.
- "Hold it! Let's not get hasty!" the mayor shrieked, scared, "Let's talk over this!"
- "We are NOT going to talk this over," the man mumbled, with a sight smirk. He walked to the mayor and then, all of the sudden, stabbed him in the stomach. The mayor gagged, and fell. People started to scream. I understood why. This wasn't Discord. Discord couldn't be like this. But, maybe they had a reason? Maybe I shouldn't freak out. The three figures rose in the air like they had magic, and said together, monotone, like one person,
- "The houses are gone. Discord has fallen. The spirit is back." Their eyes glowed.
- NOW it was an appropriate time to freak out.
