- Humans: Well-rounded race lacking in a patron deity. Found all over the Fallenlands in a very of forms.
- Illuminated: A group of humans blessed by the goddess of knowledge. They have paper skin which they use to chronicle their life.
- Moon Elves: Grey-skinned elves living in the shadow of their rumored ancestors, trying to make out their mystical past.
- Goblins: One of the first races to join the Draconic Empire. Once abundant, the fall of cities have left them fractured.
- Hobgoblins: Proud warriors and once-loyal enforcers of dragons. Many have turned to banditry and mercenary work.
- Pecorid: Sheep people with downward, curly horns and wooly fur like llamas. Many of their race live in monastic communities dedicated to singular gods, rather than cities.
- Squirlek: Bushy-tailed rodentfolk who live in the forest treetops. They are very inquisitive, with many technological developments such as the crossbow being thanks to them.
