All I know is (pause to look at her son's embarrassment) if ANY teacher lay another hand on my son, I will bring criminal charges on this entire school.

PRINCIPAL BATTS
I understand your concerns Miss Rose, I truly do. But you have to understand the gravitas of this situation.

MARY ROSE
First, don't use words you don't understand. Second, My son, has a right to sit-

PRINCIPAL BATTS
-And disrespect our great and fruitful nation with his unpatriotic discordance, under the capital G-od, nonetheless?

MARY ROSE
God? Which God, Principal Batts?

PRINCIPAL BATTS

MARY ROSE
I don't know what's worse: The fact that you worship the same religion that was used to keep our people subservient to those that followed with hypocritical tendencies, or the toxicity of your weak-kneed state of mind, stemming from decades of abusive indoctrination.

MARY ROSE
And truthfully I don't know why we going here exactly but I'm not going to continue this debate with you.
