The day started out as what appeared to be a regular day, I get up out of bed and make breakfast while watching the morning news, the anchorman spoke about a new drug being released, a cure for cancer. They claimed it to eradicate cancerous cells leaving the body unharmed and healthy.

After I had eaten my breakfast and cleaned the dishes, I pack my suitcase and leave for work. Finally arriving at the train station, I notice a good friend of mine waiting, "Paul!" I yelled and began walking towards him, "oh hello there Alex, it's been a while since iv seen you around", we stood to chat for some time. I couldn't help but notice a man behaving oddly, shrieking and swinging his arms around like a maniac.

Unexpectidly the swat team came raming through the station with guns and riot shields, everyone who seemed normal got pushed to the back for scanning, the healthy ones including myself, found ourselves ordered on the train for safety, everyone overran with fear, hurried to get on, people falling over each other and getting trodden on as people pushed, it happened so fast and no one knew what was going on, a random guy next to me was saying "we think its the new drug thats caused the riot, people are changing".

The train left and gunshots could be heard through the screams of people fearing for their lives, some of us had bloodied up noses and broken bones from the sea of rushing people, it seemed all hope was lost.

It is said that only the people who got on the train survived, everyone else left behind perished that day, leaving nothing but broken hearts and empty homes.
