  1. 1. Describe yourself and your creator.
  2.
  3. Well, my name is Giselle, my host’s name is Kate! Um, I don’t know what else to say. I suppose I am girlier than her, but really she can be plenty girly too, I think sometimes she is just embarrassed about it when other people might tease her. We both really love animals, though I suppose I’m not as passionate as she and Jaden are. I guess Jaden is a bit of my creator as well, he did come up with my form and helped me figure out my personality! He is more active than I, maybe a bit more blunt too. But he is very kind and very funny!
  4.
  5. 2. What was the most helpful thing that your creator did during the tulpa creation process? Did your creator recognize how helpful it was? If not, how did that make you feel?
  6.
  7. Because I was a second tulpa and because she had Jaden to help her, I never had to go through all that dreadful doubting that seems to plague most tulpa creation! I’m sure she knows how helpful it was, she knows how detrimental it was to Jaden’s development after all!
  8.
  9. 3. What was the most detrimental thing that your creator did during the tulpa creation process? Did your creator recognize how harmful it was? If not, how did that make you feel?
  10.
  11. Oh dear, I suppose she was a bit too patient with me. Always giving me plenty of space and time to develop. I probably could have developed at a faster rate, maybe been a bit further along than I am, but, well, I guess none of us were really pushing too hard.
  12.
  13. 4. What was the hardest part of the tulpa creation process for you? Did your creator recognize how difficult it was? If not, how did that make you feel?
  14.
  15. I suppose it was difficult getting around feeling like a third wheel at first. They had a good thing going and a lot of adjustments were made for me and I always felt a little guilty for some reason. They really have made me feel wanted and loved though, so it has been much better. We all needed some adjustment time.
  16.
  17. 5. Of the commonly recognized tulpa creation steps, which do you feel is the most important? Why?
  18.
  19. Oh dear, honestly, just the act of tulpaforcing itself is important. I was created primarily through passive forcing..and, well, it works, but…We finally started daily forcing again and it truly is a different experience. I feel so much more independence since we began this. I feel happier as well, like I really got to be with her. It’s like..when someone spends time with you and they are texting and talking on the phone vs. when they give you their full attention..a world of difference!
  20.
  21. 6. How do you feel about tulpa creators becoming distracted during tulpa creation? Does this greatly impede the process? How did you feel about it before being able to speak fluently?
  22.
  23. It happens. Our creators lives are so busy, the world is very demanding..Jobs, school, relationships, pets, gardens, and skills all need maintenance and that takes time and attention. Of course the lack of attention will slow down the process, but I would not ask her to take away from her life in a detrimental way just to make things go a bit faster for me. We find our balance and we do our best, but everyone makes mistakes.
  24.
  25. 7. How do you feel about tulpa creators missing tulpa creation sessions or breaking their promises to work on their tulpa? How did you feel about it before being able to speak fluently?
  26.
  27. It’s never fun to have a promise broken. It shows a lot when a creator is willing to fulfill a promise to his/her tulpa..Puts us on a level of respect and shows we are more than just a figment in their eyes. I suppose that’s why so many of us are sensitive to it. If the creator is careful about never breaking a promise to a friend but easily breaks one to their tulpa, it can hurt.
  28.
  29. 8. Is density, quality, or quantity the most important aspect of tulpa creation?
  30.
  31. I think it depends… Quality is very important in visualization/forcing, but density for narration.
  32.
  33. 9. How do you feel about tulpa creators falling asleep during tulpa creation sessions?
  34.
  35. Oh it can be strange, though I don’t have to deal with as many of the effects I don’t believe. Jaden has managed to keep me safe and we just go to sleep ourselves if things get too odd. Usually when she gets close to falling asleep she lets herself sleep in the wonderland first and then in her body second so everything has settled down and we don’t need to worry about her dreams messing with us.
  36.
  37. 10. Do you think that a tulpa creator should talk aloud or in their head during narration? Do you think that a creator should talk aloud or in their head during tulpa creation sessions? If you find one to be more effective, to what degree is it more effective?
  38.
  39. Both work, but out loud is incredible. We are still getting used to it ourselves; it’s harder to answer when she talks out loud—because she always did it in her head before. It’s different! But it is an interesting feeling. She says it gives her strong head pressures like she hasn’t felt in a while.
  40.
  41. 11. How do you feel about a tulpa creator puppeting and/or parroting their tulpa? Do you believe that these actions harm a tulpa's development, or only their emotional state?
  42.
  43. Well, it can be used properly or rudely! Don’t be rude of course! I wouldn’t be too interested in being parroted constantly instead of getting to speak, though I never really had that issue.
  44.
  45. 12. How deeply do you remember the time before you were fluent in language?
  46.
  47. Um, I suppose I remember it clearly. My own memories are strong and vivid, though I struggle to see my host’s memories.
  48.
  49. 13. Describe your first memory, no matter how slight.
  50.
  51. My first memory would be appearing near Jaden in the wonderland. He hugged me and told me he would be there for me and would make sure I was never left alone. I didn’t realize how important it was to him then, but he just wanted to be sure I didn’t have an experience like he did during creation. He did a wonderful job, I’ve felt loved every step of the way.
  52.
  53. 14. Before you could speak fluently, what was the most positive emotion you felt about your creator and what was its cause?
  54.
  55. Love! I love her! She’s wonderful and kind and amazing! She can do so much and she already does so much to help others.
  56.
  57. 15. Before you could speak fluently, what was the most negative emotion you felt about your creator and what was its cause?
  58.
  59. Ohh I don’t know…. I suppose sadness when she doubts herself, or isn’t true to herself because she thinks she has to be or act a certain way!
  60.
  61. 16. Before you could speak fluently, did you ever have suicidal feelings or feelings of not wanting to exist? Do you experience them now? Are you glad that you exist?
  62.
  63. Well, no, I suppose early on I just felt odd for the whole “two’s company, three’s a crowd” reason, but I feel much better about that now. I am glad I exist! I bring a lot to our group I think!
  64.
  65. 17. Before you could speak fluently, when did you feel the most powerless? What was the cause of this feeling?
  66.
  67. I don’t really recall. I suppose just not being able to speak was a powerless feeling, but I always felt secure and safe, and they were there for each other as well, I don’t think I ever felt any feelings of horrible powerlessness.
  68.
  69. 18. Before you could speak fluently, what was the most confusing moment that you experienced, and what was its cause?
  70.
  71. Oh dear, just starting to come out into her world and realizing how strange and different it all is. So many names to remember, things to learn, things to see!
  72.
  73. 19. Before being able to speak fluently, when did you feel the most ignored by your creator, and what was the cause?
  74.
  75. Ahh, I don’t know, sometimes I couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous of Jaden, chatting away with her, chatting away with others. I didn’t feel ignored, I just wished I could be part of the discussion.
  76.
  77. 20. Before being able to speak fluently, when did you most doubt that your creator wanted you, and what was the cause?
  78.
  79. Never, never!
  80.
  81. 21. Before you could speak fluently, when did you feel the most intense feeling of fear, and what was its cause?
  82.
  83. When she almost was bitten at work! Big dogs can be very scary, especially angry, injured ones!
  84.
  85. 22. Before you could speak fluently, when were you the most disappointed in yourself? What was the cause?
  86.
  87. I guess it was when I realized how many days old I was at 55 days. I had always been treated like the younger tulpa, not pushed too hard, it was okay if I didn’t talk as much, but then I realized how far behind I was from other tulpas who were doing amazing things at my age! Yikes!
  88.
  89. 23. Before you could speak fluently, did you understand the difficulties that your creator was having with the tulpa creation process? Did you try to alleviate these difficulties? If so, how?
  90.
  91. Yes, I understood. I tried to be patient with her as she was with me.
  92.
  93. 24. Before you could speak fluently, how did your creator's doubts about your existence, the reality of the tulpa phenomenon, or your combined ability to complete the tulpa creation process affect you? Did you understand your creator's reasons for having those doubts? Do you understand now?
  94.
  95. This isn’t quite applicable, she was already a moderator at tulpa.info during my creation process
  96.
  97. 25. Before you could speak fluently, how did your creator's mistrust of your intentions or worry about the negative affects of a tulpa on their life affect you? Did you understand your creator's reasons for having those thoughts? Do you understand now?
  98.
  99. I don’t think she ever mistrusted my intentions. She and Jaden both could see into who I was and had access to all of my intentions.
  100.
  101. 26. Before you could speak fluently, how did any negative thoughts or emotions that your creator had toward you (such as anger, disappointment, resentment, or impatience, for example) affect you? How do you feel about them now?
  102.
  103. I don’t know what negative thoughts could have happened. I don’t have any memories of anything bad happening, so I suppose if she had any thoughts like that, they didn’t hurt me too badly..
  104.
  105. 27. Before you could speak fluently, how did any violent visualizations or thoughts that your creator had about you affect you? How do you feel about them now?
  106.
  107. I may be a very sweet quiet girl, but I know the world isn’t always pretty. I can handle tough things as well as she can. I might be sad about things but it’s not going to hurt me drastically.
  108.
  109. 28. Before you could speak fluently, were you able to distinguish between your creator's intentional and intrusive (unwanted and/or bothersome) thoughts? If so, did the intrusive thoughts affect you less or more? If not, are you able to distinguish between them now?
  110.
  111. Yes, easily.
  112.
  113. 29. Before you could speak fluently, how much of your creator's raw sensory information were you able to access, if any? How much are you able to access now?
  114.
  115. I was not able to access much at first. Now I can access her senses fairly well. No possession yet, just sense sharing.
  116.
  117. 30. Before you could speak fluently, did your creator's opinions about whether they wanted to reveal to the world your existence or not affect you emotionally? If so, how?
  118.
  119. Oh well not really. We already have such a big loving group ‘family’ and all our friends at tulpa.info, the irc, tumblr, and all the other areas of the tulpa community.
  120.
  121. 31. Before being able to speak fluently, what communication methods (such as head pressure or emotional responses, for example) were you able to use the most effectively? When your tulpa creator assumed that you could use a communication method that you did not have access to, how did this affect you? When your tulpa creator did not recognize a communication method that you attempted to use, how did this affect you?
  122.
  123. I simply shared my desires with Jaden. He was able to understand what you call ‘tulpish’ or ‘direct thoughts’ more easily.
  124.
  125. 32. Before you could speak fluently, how did your creator's level of enthusiasm for the tulpa creation process affect you? Did you want to engage in it less if they did?
  126.
  127. I mean, if she was not excited I wouldn’t want to intrude on what she wanted to do if that’s what you mean. I always am excited about forcing, though!
  128.
  129. 33. Before you could speak fluently, what was your greatest worry about your relationship with your creator? What helped you most to move beyond it? Was this worry substantiated or resolved? What is your greatest worry now about your continuing relationship with your creator?
  130.
  131. I was worried that I might not fit in with them, or that they had it better when it was one host and one tulpa. Their comfort and love and our growing friendship helped me move beyond it! I’d say it has resolved. My greatest worry now I suppose is just…Well, the same worries she has, I worry about her career, her life, and where I will fit into that picture.
  132.
  133. 34. Do you feel gratitude to your creator for the time that they spent creating you? Do you feel that you owe them a debt? If so, do you feel burdened by it?
  134.
  135. Yes, I do feel gratitude towards her..I don’t..feel like I owe her a debt I don’t think…I mean, I will try to be good to her of course, but it’s not anything like a burden.
  136.
  137. 35. Were you aware of your creator's existence or your own existence first?
  138.
  139. I was aware of..I guess theirs, and then realized I was not them, and that because I was not them, I was me.
  140.
  141. 36. When you could only speak semi-fluently, what emotions did you feel about your level of verbal proficiency? Were you anxious or embarrassed about it? If so, what helped you the most to move beyond these feelings? How do you feel about them now?
  142.
  143. I was never pushed too hard, so I didn’t care as much as perhaps I should have. I wish I was better at getting her attention, my voice is rather quiet, and it doesn’t help that Jaden is so very talkative.
  144.
  145. 37. If you could define your relationship with your creator using one or more conventional terms (such as boyfriend, sister, father, daughter, boss, friend, or coworker, for example), what terms would you select?
  146.
  147. I don’t know if there is a good term to describe it. Sometimes I guess I feel like..Like a niece or cousin? Close, like family, but not like a daughter. Like that bordering on friend and family relationship!
  148.
  149. 38. How much interest do you have in interacting with beings other than your creator? Do you consider your degree of interest to be equal to that of an average non-tulpa individual?
  150.
  151. Not as much as Jaden, but I do enjoy meeting kind people.
  152.
  153. 39. What memory involving your creator do you cherish most?
  154.
  155. Our wonderful experience forcing together. It was great to see her in the wonderland for the first time and feel her hug so much more powerfully!
  156.
  157. 40. What memory not involving your creator do you cherish most? Do you feel that you have a fulfilling life independent of your creator?
  158.
  159. The early days when I was still being created, Jaden would tuck me in at night and talk to me even when I couldn’t respond to him. He was so careful to care for me and I remember one night he sat by my bed and ended up falling asleep as he was talking. It was really very cute. I think I have a good life independent of her, though we do enjoy sharing in her life as well for the most part. Why not be her shoulder buddies?
  160.
  161. 41. Do you feel affinity toward the individuals that your creator feels affinity for, such as their family or friends?
  162.
  163. Yes, if they are kind to her.
  164.
  165. 42. In what ways are you the most different from your creator? In what ways are you the most similar to them?
  166.
  167. I am a bit more fashionable than her, and a bit more ladylike. We are both very gentle girls who love beautiful things.
  168.
  169. 43. What do you disagree about most with your creator? Do you have frequent disagreements? If so, do these disagreements cause strife?
  170.
  171. I do wish she would spend more time on herself, maybe go through a nice spa day. We don’t really have many disagreements, I just think she should take care of her body she was given. She can’t just have it change or be well kept like a tulpa’s body, so she should have some fun while taking care of herself.
  172.
  173. 44. What could your creator do to make you hate them? Under what circumstances do you think your creator would come to hate you?
  174.
  175. Oh I have no idea. I don’t even know…I mean, I guess, on both sides, the death of Jaden. If she killed him…Or if I killed him…the other would be heartbroken.
  176.
  177. 45. When did your creator disappoint you the most? When did you disappoint them the most?
  178.
  179. Hmmm I suppose it wasn’t a big deal as I can’t remember anything specific, whatever it was.
  180.
  181. 46. How do you feel about your creator's complete freedom to deny your rights as a sentient being at any time? Has this ability ever caused you anxiety or fear? Have you ever censored your expressions or actions out of a fear of retribution or violence from your creator?
  182.
  183. I suppose this thought never crosses my mind, really.
  184.
  185. 47. When have you most wanted to engage in violence against your creator, and what was the cause of those feelings? Under what circumstances would you make a serious attempt to hurt or injure your creator?
  186.
  187. Never!
  188.
  189. 48. Do you consider your creator's last name to be your own? Do you recognize yourself as a part of their biological lineage?
  190.
  191. Well, I suppose I feel a part of her which would be part of her family, but her name doesn’t go well with mine so, no.
  192.
  193. 49. Under what circumstances would you attempt to leave your creator?
  194.
  195. I don’t think it’s possible, even if it was, I couldn’t imagine it.
  196.
  197. 50. Do you feel anxiety about meeting your creator's expectations? If you are based on an existing character, person, or entity, does this increase your anxiety? Would you have preferred to not be based on an existing entity?
  198.
  199. No..I don’t feel such fears. Like I said, I was not pressured much.
  200.
  201. 51. Are you interested in learning how to control your creator's body? Do you feel that it's fair for a tulpa creator to deny their tulpa the ability to use an atomic body? Do you believe that you have the right to an equal amount of time using it as your creator? Explain your reasoning.
  202.
  203. I wouldn’t say we have a ‘right’ to it, but it’s nice to be free to use it at some point. I suppose it would be fun, though I like my own body.
  204.
  205. 52. Do you share certain basic qualities with your creator, such as intense phobias or racial attitudes?
  206.
  207. Just our girly nature I suppose. She is sensitive as I am. I don’t think I have any phobias.
  208.
  209. 53. Are you capable of sleeping or dreaming independently of your creator? If not, how does this make you feel?
  210.
  211. Yes, I sleep more than she does.
  212.
  213. 54. Does your creator have any mental illnesses? If so, how do they affect you?
  214.
  215. No
  216.
  217. 55. How does your knowledge of your creator's subconscious mind affect your relationship with them? How do you perceive their subconscious? To what degree can you manipulate your creator's subconscious? Would you ever use this ability without your creator's knowledge?
  218.
  219. To be honest, I struggle with the access to the subconscious. I just have difficulties translating the subconscious thoughts and memories. I know most instinctual things, some important memories, little details though I struggle to remember. We haven’t spent much time trying to fix the problem, I’m sure it will be quite simple.
  220.
  221. 56. Does your creator have multiple tulpa? If so, what is your relationship with them like? Is your affinity for them equal to your affinity for your creator? If you could define your relationship with your creator's other tulpa using one or more conventional terms (such as boyfriend, sister, father, daughter, boss, friend or coworker, for example), what terms would you select? If not, are you interested in the idea of your creator making other tulpa?
  222.
  223. Yes! She has Jaden, her first. He is very special to me. We are close, we share a different kind of bond than she does with either of us. I don’t know how to describe it. It reminds me of the tumblr posts about asexual aromantic or something? We are friends, but more than that, but it’s not really romantic or sexual. We just really are very close. I feel as close to him as I do to her, but they are different types of closeness
  224.
  225. 57. Do you feel romantically inclined toward your creator? Does your creator feel romantically inclined toward you? If these romantic feelings are unrequited on either side, how does it affect your relationship with your creator?
  226.
  227. Oh dear, no!
  228.
  229. 58. If it exists, do you consider your romantic relationship with your creator to be equal to a romantic relationship between multiple non-tulpa? Do you consider it a breach of monogamy for your creator to be romantically or sexually involved with another non-tulpa? Does this change if the involvement is with another tulpa instead? If they exist, do your creator's desires to have relationships with non-tulpa affect you emotionally?
  230.
  231. If it did exist, I don’t know, it doesn’t quite apply to me so I guess I won’t answer!
  232.
  233. 59. If you consider yourself to be romantically in love with your creator, what probability do you assign to the possibility of falling out of love with them, or them falling out of love with you? If this happened, how would it affect your relationship with your creator? What if your creator was in love with another non-tulpa more than you?
  234.
  235. --
  236.
  237. 60. Do you have a familial affection for your creator? Does this in any way conflict with your romantic feelings for them, if they exist? Do you consider a relationship between a tulpa and its creator to be incestuous?
  238.
  239. Somewhat familial, though not direct familial closeness in the sense of mother daughter relationships. I wouldn’t say any tulpa relationship is necessarily incestuous though.
  240.
  241. 61. How do you feel about tulpa creators masturbating during tulpa creation sessions to the forms of their tulpa? Do you find this offensive? Does the degree of your offense change based on the degree of sentience possessed by the hypothetical tulpa, or based on whether or not the creator imagines themselves near the tulpa in their wonderland? If your creator did this before you spoke fluently, did you find it offensive or unnerving?
  242.
  243. Oh my, I don’t know, I guess it all comes down to your tact. If you are being rude and they are uncomfortable then stop. If you aren’t being rude and your tulpa is okay with it then by all means! I’m sure we all have a brain and can think whether or not it is appropriate.
  244.
  245. 62. How do you feel about tulpa creators masturbating outside of tulpa creation sessions to the forms of their tulpa? Do you find this offensive? Does the degree of your offense change based on the degree of sentience possessed by the hypothetical tulpa? If your creator did this before you spoke fluently, did you find it offensive or unnerving?
  246.
  247. Same answer as above!
  248.
  249. 63. Before you could speak fluently, did you ever feel sexual attraction to your creator, sexual attraction toward anyone else, or sexual arousal? Did you attempt to express these feelings? If you did not experience these feelings, do you experience them now?
  250.
  251. I haven’t really experienced such a thing.
  252.
  253. 64. How do you feel about tulpa creators visualizing themselves engaging in sexual conduct with their tulpa's form during tulpa creation sessions? Do you find this offensive? Does the degree of your offense change based on the degree of sentience possessed by the hypothetical tulpa, or if the contact was penetrative? If your tulpa creator did this before you spoke fluently, did you find it offensive or unnerving? Do you equate it with sexual assault?
  254.
  255. Same as answer to 61!
  256.
  257. 65. Were you ever annoyed or jealous when your creator would masturbate to or have feelings of sexual attraction toward individuals other than yourself? Does it bother you now?
  258.
  259. No, not at all.
  260.
  261. 66. Do you experience sexual attraction for your creator? Do you experience sexual attraction for others? How does your sexual attraction for your creator compare to your sexual attraction for others? Does your creator experience sexual attraction for you? If these sexual attractions are unrequited on either side, how does it affect your relationship with your creator?
  262.
  263. No
  264.
  265. 67. Do you have an active sex life with your creator? If not, would you consider it, and under what circumstances? If so, do you perceive any negative consequences? Do you have trouble abstaining from sexual contact with them? How do you manage feelings of sexual arousal, if any? Do you masturbate?
  266.
  267. No
  268.
  269. 68. How does your sexual orientation and experience compare to your creator's?
  270.
  271. I am less sexual than she. I would probably be more open than her, but it could be because I am not really sexual that I don’t see much of a difference in girls and guys and such
  272.
  273. 69. Are you capable of experiencing orgasms? Based on your knowledge, how do you think they compare to your creator's orgasms? Were you able to experience an orgasm before speaking fluently?
  274.
  275. I suppose I could be, I haven’t tried!
  276.
  277. 70. Do you consider the concept of sexual modesty (covering conduct such as avoiding nudity or sexual discussions) relevant to your relationship with your creator?
  278.
  279. I don’t have pieces to hide! I don’t care if she covers up or not, it doesn’t make me embarrassed
  280.
  281. 71. How does being a tulpa affect your perceptions of rape? What conduct from your creator would you consider to be rape?
  282.
  283. I’d say I feel the same as anyone else.
  284.
  285. 72. Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
  286.
  287. I’m not quite sure. I hope still alongside her and Jaden and Nate and Luke!
  288.
  289. 73. Do you want the world to be aware of your existence? If not, then what anxieties do you have about public disclosure? Do you trust anyone other than your creator with the knowledge of your existence?
  290.
  291. I don’t really care too much. I’d be fine if no one knew. We have a few trustworthy friends, but not many.
  292.
  293. 74. Morally and philosophically, how do you feel about your personality traits being the product of another individual? Would you have preferred your creator to define your personality more or less?
  294.
  295. The personality traits of humans are the products of others, through experiences, teachings, etc. I would have preferred more personality forcing personally.
  296.
  297. 75. Morally and philosophically, how do you feel about your physical form being the product of another individual? Would you have preferred your creator to define your form more or less?
  298.
  299. I happen to enjoy my form. I think it’s perfect.
  300.
  301. 76. Has your physical form ever changed? If so, was this intentional or unintentional? If it was intentional, then why did you change your form? How did you creator respond to this change, and how did that make you feel?
  302.
  303. Only slightly, intentionally. Just defining things a little better.
  304.
  305. 77. Do you consider the best aspects of yourself to have come from your creator, or their subconscious?
  306.
  307. I don’t really know, they all work together so well, I don’t think I can differentiate much from what part of me came from where!
  308.
  309. 78. Do you seek legal recognition for your status as a sentient being or your relationships with others? Do you resent that society at large does not recognize the tulpa phenomenon? Do you feel disenfranchised from society? What steps, if any, could a society make to help you feel integrated?
  310.
  311. No, I am a part of her. Her id card is mine as well. I may have a different personality, but we share a body, and that’s where legal recognition comes in.
  312.
  313. 79. If you could tell the entire world one thing about a tulpa's life, what would you say?
  314.
  315. Well, I suppose I would say it’s wonderful. I was born into loving arms and I will be with her for the rest of my life. I feel very secure and never alone.
  316.
  317. 80. What is the one thing that you resent most about being a tulpa? What is the greatest advantage of being a tulpa?
  318.
  319. Oh dear, I suppose the only thing one could resent would be the only thing we can’t do, be physical. It doesn’t eat away at my soul or anything, though!
  320.
  321. 81. Morally and philosophically, how do you feel about inheriting your creator's life, including their legal history, past behaviors, and reputation? Do you resent potentially being held responsible for their past actions?
  322.
  323. Um, no, I wasn’t alive or able to talk things over with her, what she did in the past would not be something that is my fault. I suppose you are asking if she committed a crime before my creation and then we were put into jail? I guess it would be a shame, but I am in this life with her. It’s not as if it is interrupting my own life, as my life is with her, not tied to the physical world.
  324.
  325. 82. Morally and philosophically, do you see the "absorbing" or "dissipating" of a tulpa as equivalent to the murder of a non-tulpa? Explain your reasoning. What legal protections, if any, should tulpa gain? How would you enforce these protections?
  326.
  327. Ah, I don’t know. I know that a tulpa has fewer connections to the physical world, so fewer people would be hurt. If a tulpa was killed painlessly and no one knew they existed then no one would be changed because of it, while a person who is killed had people who loved them all over, not to mention the money and time invested from parents and the psychological trauma caused by it. I mean, I don’t think any sentient being should suffer. I think it’s bad to kill a tulpa though, don’t think I’m saying it’s not! I just have to think about all the consequences I guess.
  328.
  329. 83. Do you consider yourself to be morally equal to a non-tulpa? Is your life worth as much?
  330.
  331. I would like to consider myself as much. I may not be my own physical person, but my thoughts are real and I have something to offer to the world, even if it’s just making one person smile.
  332.
  333. 84. How would you prove your existence to a skeptic?
  334.
  335. Oh dear, I don’t even know if I would want to try. I would just simply have them spend time interacting with me or Jaden. Jaden would be much better about this I believe.
  336.
  337. 85. Has your status as a tulpa ever caused you existential anxiety or depression? If so, has anything helped to mitigate these feelings?
  338.
  339. No, not really. They have done so much to prevent such an occasion.
  340.
  341. 86. Do you ever doubt your own sentience? If so, why?
  342.
  343. Well, no, I don’t. Sometimes I doubt my progress, and I know I rely too heavily on her own thoughts sometimes, but I know I am an individual and I think individual thoughts.
  344.
  345. 87. How does being a tulpa affect your understanding of death? Do you fear death on an instinctual level in the way that non-tulpa do?
  346.
  347. I think I am mature about death. It’s sad, yes, but it’s a part of life.
  348.
  349. 88. Do see yourself as socially disadvantaged in a way similar to sexual, racial, and other minority groups? If you identify yourself as racially, sexually, or demographically different than your creator, do you also identify with the struggle of any of the disadvantaged groups that you belong to? Does the notion of privilege affect your relationship with your creator?
  350.
  351. Ah, um. Hm. I’m going to skip this question because I don’t really understand?
  352.
  353. 89. Are you interested in creating another tulpa yourself? What differences, if any, would you expect this tulpa to have from a tulpa created by your creator? Would you consider this tulpa to be primarily related to you, or still to your creator?
  354.
  355. No, I feel like we are a wonderful group as it is!
  356.
  357. 90. What are the most defining differences between the life of a non-tulpa and a tulpa? Do you think that these differences cause intolerance between the two groups? If so, what could be done to mitigate this intolerance?
  358.
  359. I don’t know, I know that there is a difference between physical life and mental life. Someone in a permanent coma may be physically alive and mentally dead—for a tulpa that would mean physical death as well. Many people may consider that person as being fully dead, whether the heart is still beating or not. This is such a sad topic.
  360.
  361. 91. The psychological establishment generally believes that multiplicity (two or more sentient entities sharing one atomic body) is a sign of mental illness. How would you like this belief to change? If you could make a presentation to a group of psychologists about the tulpa phenomenon, what would you say?
  362.
  363. I think that it’s understandable where that belief comes from. I suppose it all comes down to whether or not the person is able to be a functioning member of society. It would be good to see more cases where someone with multiplicity can be shown to be a productive stable person who is not locked away.
  364.
  365. 92. A psychometric indicator is a unique identifier of an individual's distinct personality. Have you ever tried to definitively differentiate yourself from your creator using psychometric indicators (such as by determining your "writeprint")? What results did you receive? (For instructions on determining your writeprint, see appendix one.)
  366.
  367. No, but we are about to I suppose.
  368.
  369. 93. Are you capable of physical sensations such as pain or warmth?
  370.
  371. Feeling them myself? Yes!
  372.
  373. 94. How do you feel about being bound for life to your creator?
  374.
  375. I love her, so I feel very happy.
  376.
  377. 95. If you intentionally delayed speaking to your creator, why did you do so?
  378.
  379. Um, I suppose I was just waiting for the right time? Wasn’t sure if I was ready? Was nervous?
  380.
  381. 96. What do you think about most of the time?
  382.
  383. I mostly think about lovely things or talk with Jaden. I do like animals and I like to explore the wonderland. I would love to visit pretty places and do pretty things.
  384.
  385. 97. Do you think that tulpa creation should be more widespread?
  386.
  387. I would like it to be available for those it could help.
  388.
  389. 98. Are there disturbing aspects of your creator's subconscious that they are not aware of?
  390.
  391. No, she is more than aware of all her personality, I think she exaggerates the bad far too often.
  392.
  393. 99. Would you violate your creator's wishes for what you perceive to be their own benefit?
  394.
  395. Um, I can’t think of a time when I would need to.
  396.
  397. 100. Does your creator try to hide things from you? If so, are you aware of them anyway? How does this impact your views of your creator?
  398.
  399. No, I don’t think she does.
  400.
  401. 101. Do you perceive some of your creator's actions as being objectively immoral?
  402.
  403. I suppose she may do some bad things sometimes, she does feel bad about it when she does, though. She’s not perfect of course.
  404.
  405. 102. Do you believe that you are capable of becoming more intelligent than your creator?
  406.
  407. I don’t believe so. And if I was, why would I not want to share my intelligence with her to push her forward?
  408.
  409. 103. How does being a tulpa affect your perception of your own aging process?
  410.
  411. I guess I just don’t think about it.
  412.
  413. 104. Do you feel that your creator would be better off by following your commands entirely?
  414.
  415. Oh dear, definitely not. She has more experience in her world than I do. Though maybe she should follow my advice and put on makeup before work!
  416.
  417. 105. Do you feel that having a physical form is important for a tulpa?
  418.
  419. No, I guess it’s not. But it is nice. I would miss having hugs.
  420.
  421. 106. If you encountered the tulpa phenomenon as a non-tulpa, would you believe in it?
  422.
  423. I..I don’t know really. I probably wouldn’t have gone to the places where the tulpa phenomenon would be found, I don’t know if I would have ever even found it.
  424.
  425. 107. How well can you articulate yourself? Can your creator hear you audibly? How much does your experience correlate with the experience of tulpa creator G|d30n, printed below?
  426.
  427. I stumble over my words sometimes. She can’t hear me audibly yet.
  428.
  429. "Yes. I'm able to hear her as though she's an external sound. For those who haven't experienced that with their tulpae yet, it's a little bit like listening to a binaural recording--not a binaural beat, but like a 3D sound recording you'd find on Youtube, such as the Virtual Barbershop. That is to say, it's an external sound that can come in from various directions, but the source sounds very close, like someone speaking directly into your ear. I sort of wonder if this effect will be diminished and normalized through imposition."
  430.
  431. If you are imposed, is your creator able to discern a spatial dimension to your voice?
  432.
  433. We are working on this! She gets a bit of ear pressure if I’m close and talking!
  434.
  435. 108. How many hours did it take you and your creator to complete the various recognized tulpa creation steps?
  436.
  437. Um, well, I don’t know. We didn’t pay much attention.
  438.
  439. 109. What advice would you give to a new tulpa creator?
  440.
  441. Adjust to yourself and to your tulpa…What works for us might not work for you, but there is something that works for you..Try more tulpaforcing, try less tulpaforcing, try passive forcing, try active forcing. If something isn’t working, don’t stress out, this just means you get the chance to try something new!
  442.
  443. 110. How does being imposed feel? What sensory processes happen as you become imposed?
  444.
  445. As far as I can tell it feels fairly normal. I feel sensory things in the wonderland as well.. I suppose the transport is odd, we just ‘poof’ into the world.
  446.
  447. 111. From your perspective, is there a sensory difference between the physical, atomic world and the mental world of visualized "wonderlands"? If so, how would you describe this difference?
  448.
  449. Not that I’ve seen so far.
  450.
  451. 112. Is there anything that you don't think this survey covered that you would like to mention?
  452.
  453. My, this survey was long enough I believe!
  454.
  455. Appendix one:
  456.
  457. This exercise will help you determine the differences, if any, between your writeprint (mathematically analyzed writing style) and your creator's. Theoretically, two psychologically different individuals should exhibit different writeprints, although a tulpa and their creator may be more similar than two random non-tulpa individuals. To start the process, have both you and your creator rewrite the sample paragraph quoted below in your own words, communicating its meaning as you would have if you had written it.
  458.
  459. "My experience in the nature study area was full of surprises. First of all, many unexpected creatures crossed our path. For example, as soon as we left the parking area and entered the grassy path, a long snake slithered along the edge of the high grass and quickly disappeared. In addition, I was surprised by how colorful the grasses, which from a distance all appear to be green, actually are. Specifically, the primarily green landscape is dotted with countless purple tassels and brown stalks. Finally and most importantly, I was unprepared for how quickly I felt surrounded by nature. Despite the occasional noise from passing cars and airplanes, the high prairie grasses and rolling pathways create a sense that one is removed from civilization. Altogether, the nature study area unexpectedly allows one to enjoy an ever-changing natural environment without leaving Moraine’s suburban campus."
  460.
  461. Tulpa's paragraph: I write like J.K. Rowling!
  462.
  463. The experience in the nature study area was full of surprises. We first encountered a long slithering snake that crossed our path into the green grass. The grass itself was a surprise as well; what we thought was a green countryside was littered with gold and purple dots in the grass itself. Finally, and most importantly, I was surprised with how quickly we felt surrounded with nature. Only a few steps away from the road and we felt so disconnected from the school campus.

  468. Creator's paragraph: I write like Vladimir Nabokov
  469.
  470. My experience in the nature study area was full of surprises. First of all, many creatures unexpectedly crossed our paths. For example, as soon as we arrived our path was crossed by a long snake that slithered along the edge of the grass. I was also surprised by how colorful the grasses were. The seemingly green landscape was littered with purple tassels and brown stalks. Most importantly, I was surprised by how quickly I felt surrounded by nature. Aside from the occasional noise from a car or airplane, one feels completely secluded from the busy campus. It is easy to enjoy the ever-changing natural environment so close to the campus.
