| BACKGROUND: he was born and raised in jeju but had to move to seoul for more space. he and his brother were raised together but his brother moved to japan when he was 13, for his job. his mother and father divorced so he had to life with his father. he didn't have a very eventful childhood apart from the moving away and divorcing. his brother works as a singer in japan and his mother worked as a teacher but got fired. when he turned 15 things went down hill and his father became a drunk and came home threatening joohyun almost everyday. joohyun was glad when he turned 17 and moved out of the house as soon as he could before any harm could take place.
